Name: Brindlefur
Gender: Tom
Age: 23 moons
Clan: SerenityClan
Rank: Warrior
Looks:
[Head]
Brindlefur's head is small and delicate, with lightly pointed features and a round aspect to it. His ears are quite large in comparison, and his left ear is ripped a little at the top. His eyes are a watery shade of yellow and green. The fur on the back of his head extending down to his head is ginger in colour, though at the front, Brindlefur carries a white blaze that runs up past his eyes. His muzzle usually carries a cheerful smirk and his whiskers are shorter then normal.
[Body]
Brindlefur is a rather small cat, but he's also pretty lean. Most of his fur is white, including all of his underbelly and legs. His fur gets thicker by his flanks, causing him no end of trouble with burrs. He has two ginger patches on his back; a small one by his shoulders and a large one further down his back. His tail is thickly striped with orange and ends with an orange tip.
Actions:
Brindlefur can be described as a quite cynical cat. What he makes up for in size is easily put right by his sharp tongue. He's always ready to argue, and he'll get a point and stick with it. He's determined to always have the last word (and the one after that). Though his personality may seem quite fiery and unfriendly, Brindlefur is actually one of the most cheerful cats you'll ever meet. In his own way, he supports his friends and family to the end. While the Warrior Code is important to him, he would break it to save someone he loved. He's stuck in his mentality that she-cats like big muscular toms, and he needs someone to prove to him that isn't so. While he believes that, he's quite happy to be small and lithe, because of the advantage in agility it gives him.
Past:
[Before Birth]
Brindlefur's father Dustyfoot had been a great warrior in his time, though Dustyfoot was nearly an elder when he died and his only kit was born. Dustyfoot died of greencough, leaving his pregant mate, who was 26 moons to his 82, to fend for herself. Ashpelt soon grew reliant on another tom and fell in love with him, but he already had a mate, and to her death, remained ignorant of her affection. His parent's story is one of those storys that may seem right at the beginning, but hurt at the end. Ashpelt died giving birth to Brindlekit.
[Kithood]
Brindlekit's meager size led the larger kits to tease him, but he soon earned their respect with his acid tongue and the way he would dodge all of their attacks. While he never won in play-fights, he would always avoid losing for a seemingly impossible long time. He eventually became friendly with the others, though he still remained a little bit of an outsider.
[Apprenticeship]
Apprenticed to a tom he didn't particularily like, Brindlepaw would always argue and stubbornly persist that he was right, much to his Lighteningstorm's annoyment. So they didn't really get along. His mentor would always criticize him on why couldn't he be more like his father? At that point, it seemed like the whole Clan was against him.
After a near-death experience, however, when the spotted tom was recovering, he discovered that he did have close friends who cared about him. The same ones who had cared for him before, but he had been to busy being a recluse to notice.
[Warrior]
As a warrior, Brindlefur became more like his old self, slowly recovering from the trauma. He regained his sharp tongue and he and his old mentor started to get along again. But when his kithood love Ebonystripe fell off of the sharp cliff, he stayed with her every day in the medicine cat's den until she finally died. But instead of causing him more pain, it made him stronger, and he resolved he would never let any of his friends die again. Now Brindlefur is an important link in SerenityClan and would do whatever to defend the cats belonging to it.
In Character:
Brindlefur had been enjoying his lazy lounge by the roots of the tree when his eyes snapped open. "Let it go, Ebonystripe! It's to close to the cliff!" But he found his voice to late, the black she-cat having already accidently hurtled herself over the cliff after a mouse. The orange and white tom padded towards the edge, as quick as he dared. He took a deep breath and looked over the ledge. What he saw horrified him. He stood there for what seemed like forever, to shocked to move, fur blowing in the breeze and green eyes open wide.
"No..."
He had to tell someone. He needed to tell someone. But he couldn't tear his eyes away from the sight. And then, like the sky mourning with him, it began to rain, water flowing down his face like tear. Brindlefur turned and ran down the wet slope to where her body lay. He grabbed her scruff in his mouth and began to head towards camp, pulling the impaled body with him. He could still feel a heartbeat, and his hopes soared that maybe- just maybe- Ebonystripe would survive.

Other: If he gets accepted in time for the battle, can he be in it please? :3
