Beautiful in her youth, Lunarmyth’s black-streaked, silver pelt has now dulled somewhat to a muted gray color. Her head is circular with rounded ears, muzzle, and eyes. Her brown eyes are rimmed in black and are set in her face like jewels. Between her eyes is her muzzle that ends in a dark-red, triangular nose. From her head is a sloping, graceful neck. This leads to her imperial shoulders, which hold up her elegant frame. Like her body as a whole, her shoulders are thin. Her tail is also very thin, ending in a patch of black. Her legs are lissome, beautiful appendages that made her one of the fastest warriors when she was younger. They end in paws with aged pads and claws that are nearly wearing away. She bares scars from her past: one on the side of her face, one on her tail, and some of her shoulders. Her steel-colored pelt can still shine if she grooms it a lot but she’s usually too tired to be doing all that at her age.
The deaths of her father and mate greatly changed Lunarmyth. Sinnerstar’s death and her failed attempt to save her love gave her a fear of blood, causing her to freeze up whenever seeing it. She believed that she was cursed, and whoever she might be near would die soon after. Similarly, Lunarmyth came to lose faith in the title of Leader, believing that only fools would want such a position that would, as she believed, inevitably require them to sacrifice themselves as all the previous Leaders had. While she would maintain this mindset for many years, seeing the growth of her grandson caused Lunarmyth to reject each of these ideals. Lunarmyth was a compulsive gambler in her youth; she also had unfortunate disadvantage of having terrible luck. In the rare instances that Lunarmyth hit a winning streak, she believed it to be a bad omen, and bad things tended to happen to her afterwards. Her luck with bets has occasionally been used for optimistic purposes, such as betting that Ghostlystar will die to ensure that he returns home safely. Lunarmyth typically projects a tough demeanor, even when facing great personal difficulty, and rarely compliments or praises people. She readily criticizes others for their faults, such as her grandson for his tendency to wallow in pity. On occasion, though, Lunarmyth often shows sympathy for others, consoling Ghostlystar that while he lost a life, his son, Hollowpaw, was alive.

Lunarmyth, like most BrightClanners, was born Lunarkit to Sinnerstar and Crossedpelt. She was the popular one despite her cheeky ways. She played with her sisters, being a family of all girls except for her dad, and giggled about toms just like a normal girl would.
Apprenticeship came for her rather enthusiastically and she was given a mentor by the name of Crimsoncrest. The black tom was handsome, with a twangy accent she loved, and intelligent, guiding Lunarpaw along the way to warriorship.
She became Lunarmyth. At this point, she began to notice that Crimsoncrest was making more and more attempts to see her. She knew what was coming when he finally got the chance to ask her onto a hunt. He confessed that he had loved her and that he would love to have her by his side when he became leader one day. Lunarmyth accepted him as her suitor and they became mates when she was eighteen moons, bearing four kits: Frozenkit, Cottonkit, Rougekit, and Obsidiankit. Frozenkit looked just like his father, black with bright blue eyes. Obsidiankit looked like Frozenkit, except that he had a gray belly. Cottonkit and Rougekit looked like little clones of herself.
Lunarmyth was proud of her family, and she and Crimsoncrest raised them to apprenticeship. No longer a queen, she was able to hunt once more. That’s when tragedy stuck. Sinnerstar, Crimsoncrest, and Lunarmyth went out on a hunt together, only to be attacked by a massive badger who was protecting its cubs. Sinnerstar lost two lives and Crimsoncrest was slaughtered. Though she killed the badger, she felt useless at not saving some of the most important cats in her life. She became hemophobic at this horror and completely dismissed the thought of Leader. She ignored the new leader of BrightClan, focusing only on her childen. Obsidianpaw went mad at the loss of his father and vanished; Rougepaw succumbed to Greencough. Only Cottonpaw and Frozenpaw survived their apprenticeship, becoming Cottonbeak and Frozenwind.
Cottonbeak became mates with a tom named Shadowcrawl while Frozenwind became mates with a she-cat named Spottedbark. Only Spottedbark bore Lunarmyth grandkits: Hauntingkit, Coldkit, Spiritkit and Ghostlykit. Even then, Lunarmyth was still extremely distant, cringing when she heard that Ghostlykit wanted to become leader someday. She longed to tell him that it was cursed but she didn’t, merely keeping her distance. She watched blankly as Sorrowstar was slain, then Thrushstar, then Wrenstar. She cringed when she heard her grandson was to become leader.
Determinded, however, to help out her great-grandkit Hollowpaw, she was on the party to save him when he went off to go find the missing Pecankit. During fight against the foxes, Lunarmyth’s fear of blood leaves her paralyzed and unable to protect herself. Ghostlystar arrives to save her and the others, losing a life in the process. When she realized what he had done, she overcame her fear for the sole purpose of protecting him, finally giving him her blessing on becoming Leader.
