rainkit Outside, the snowstorm was raging. All she could see was swirling white. Rainkit was crouched in the nursery entrance, which the queens had screened with brambles. She had her slender, ashen paws resting on one of the brambles, being careful of the thorns. Her large, electric blue eyes peered curiously outside. The charcoal tabby winced, her eyes half-closing, as a blast of chilly wind scraped her eyeballs. Rainkit let go of the bramble and stood on all four paws. She wiped at her eyes distractedly, her slim tail waving from side to side. She had grown in the last few moons. She was no longer little and stubby, but larger, filling her fur more smugly, with willow limbs and an already pretty face. Rainkit's expression was calm as she watched this new phenonenom outside. She'd never seen snow before. She had never seen anything quite so beautiful.
