Amethyststar waved her tail in silent thanks to the medicine cat, too troubled to laugh along with her. She watched her brothers eating the herbs, aware she would not have to. She waited for them to finish. "Spicetalon, bring Fernpelt here please." |

Lunardance furrowed her brow before shaking her head and moving to walk back to her den. Cuffing Ravencurse lightly before she did so. The tom looked slightly dazed for a moment before he grinned at her, watching her long silky tail sway with a rather spaced out look on his face. Chuckling lightly to himself he bent down and lapped up the herbs, eyes on Amethyststar. Seeing his sister in such a state brought his fairly good mood crashing down again. Frowning a little he looked up at the sky. |

Fernpelt trotted over to the leader's den. Spicetalon had told her Amethyststar had needed to see her, and she hoped she hadn't done something wrong. She cleared her throat and said 'Amethyststar? It's Fernpelt. You wanted to see me?' Fernpelt waited for her leader to say she could come in, instead of just bursting in.

"Come in," he black queen meowed. She looked at her deputy. "Spicetalon, Ravencurse and I are going to visit the Moonstone. I wish you to guard the camp; you are in charge. Send Fennecmask, Moonmist and Spectrumpaw on the sunhigh patrol and Lonelyheart, Scrawltale and Swiftpaw on the evenin patrol. Except us back by sunhigh tomorrow." |

Fernpelt was stricken that Amethyststar was leaving her in charge when she hadn't been deputy for that long. 'Yes Amethyststar. I'll do my best.' Fernpelt waited for a sign that her leader wanted her to leave.

"Well; go and tell the clan then," she gestured towards the Shaderock with her tail. "We leave now." The black she-cat rasped to her brothers, slipping out of her den asnd leading the way out of the camp. |

Fernpelt jumped up to Shaderock with one easy leap. 'Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a Clan meeting.' She sat down and curled her tail round her paws while the cats gathered. 'Amethyststar is travelling to the Moonstone today. She has left me in charge of the camp. On sunhigh patrol today will be Fennecemask, Moonmist and Spectrumpaw. Lonelyheart, Scrawltale and Swiftpaw will take out the Evening patrol.' She leapt back down as the group started to break away.
Ooc: Shall I post this on the Shaderock board as well?
