Giving her one of his signature crooked smiles, he sat down in front of Limepaw. She seemed awfully shy, but for once, that was really nice. All of his siblings were loud, annoying, and always in his face. The only cat he had ever gotten to know that wasn't like that was Rosemarypool. And of course, the other queens and his mother. But he really liked this. He knew that if he talked to a hyper annoying cat who doesn't stop talking, its hard to talk yourself. But with a shy cat Toweringpaw didn't even have to talk much at all. And that was a privilege. Because even just looking at her, he knew that she was really nervous. "I'm alright. Just got my mentor... So I guess I should be happy. But I'm not really that excited because I won't get to see my mom every day and play with all the younger kits when I feel like it. I'll just have to hunt, which looks like fun, and fight, which I hate very much. My siblings fight all the time. You're lucky you don't have any siblings and now I'm just going to stop talking," he mewed quickly and softly, smiling but then clamping his mouth shut when he knew he had just gone too far. Now she really would be freaked out... Toweringpaw cleared his throat and shifted uncomfortably, realizing he was nervous too.
"Um, so how are you?"

Maplekit's deep green pools bulged as Cascadekit and Rainbowkit literally bounced off, chirping, prancing, and almost dancing as they spoke, so excited and almost in tune with each other-and their hyperness-they seemed to forget the world, unless of course, someone brought up the sacred word play or tag, other kits and cats suddenly appeared, it wasn't' just Cascadekit, Costanokit, and Rainbowkit in the nursery! He sighed, his thin silver pelt twitching nervously, his fur seeming to be on end as he glanced at Puzzlekit, before back at his paws, and to the other tom kit again. He wondered somewhat if he had gotten fooled, by the way Puzzlekit said it (and even Maplekit knew Cascadekit and Rainbowkit would never detect a mystery said right in front of them, especially when play and tag where announced together in the same sentence) and thought that the collected acquaintance of him may tell him how to play it wrong, or not even tell him at all - and make a fool of him.

Costanokit looked at Cascadekit when she found him. 'Yeah, let's be best friends!' he said happily, nudging her with his tail. Then he padded out from his hiding place, turning to look at the white she-kit again. 'Who's it?' he asked, looking about suspiciously. He noticed the huge mass of kittens now, it seemed like there were many more than there were when he woke up.

OOC;// Eek! *hurriedly types*
BIC:// "Tag?" Grebekit demanded, toppled off of Solsticesong. She rolled over onto her belly, wriggling her nose. She looked over at Solsticesong who shook her head. "I'm not big enough for all those kits," the large she-cat mewed, and besides, she was tired. The white and black femme smiled and waved her tail at Grebekit. "You can go play." Grebekit grinned devilishly and exploded onto the scene, nearly tackling her sister. "Lilakit!" The mottled fae turned over to Kinkajoukit and waved. "C'mon, little brother, what are you waiting for?"

Cascadekit nodded vigorously, jumping around. "Best friends! Best friends! Me and Costanokit are be-est friends!" the little kitten sang, delighted to be playing a game with her new best friend. She stuck her tongue out at Rainbowkit, calling, "Don't care! You're ittt! Raibowkit's ittt!" by all the giggling and screaming coming from her, one could tell she was having a great time. She ran this way and that, leaving tiny pawprints in her wake. She jumped about Grebekit and Lilakit and Kinkajoukit and Maplekit, laughing the whole time. Limepaw smiled, although her eyes still looked at the ground. She liked Toweringpaw. He didn't talk too much or too fast, but he wan't completely silent either. Limepaw felt secure, sure of herself for once. She glanced up but kept her shoulder hunched, and because of her small size and his huge size she had to crane her neck to see all of him. A soft giggle escaped her lips when he finished his speech, then she finally spoke. "I'm good," she mewed in her chime-like whisper, a fairly nice voice if she only used it more often. Oh, she really hoped Toweringpaw didn't ask her to speak up. Everyone always asked her to speak up, but she just never wanted to. She just wanted to whisper. "Yes, fighting does not look like fun," the golden-ginger she-cat admitted, looking down once more.[/blockquote] ooc; Limepaw and Cascadekit... the north and south poles of EclipseClan [complete opposites. -__-;;]

Kinkajoukit couldn't help rubbing his nose into his mother's soft lilac-grey and white fur, sniffing a little. The frail tabby felt severely crushed and battered. He didn't see how Solsticesong and Grebekit could call that playing. It was scary! The tiny kitten looked up, his watery eyes fixed on Cascadekit. He gave a small whimper as the white kitten bounced hyperly around him, recoiling. Kinkajoukit shook his head vigorously. He didn't want to play with them, but he knew he'd just get sneered at if he didn't. The little tabby tom wiped his eyes with a very small paw, stuck for what to do. Finally he was rescued by Grebekit, and gratefully followed her, tottering after her into the nursery to 'rest'.

Toweringpaw only grinned brightly when she didn't laugh at him by his long speech of quick high-pitched words that rang with the nervousness that sent Maverickpaw to oblivion with laughter. Her small voice was just loud enough for him to hear, but his large goofy looking ears that he had inherited from his mother were able to pick up a whisper from across the clearing it seemed. And when she admitted she didn't like fighting and looked down again, he assumed that she was nervous about it. And being afraid for that matter. The battle was only days away and until then he would be training hard with Spicetalon to fight. He was large, though, when could be an advantage. But for fighting ghosts, he wasn't sure how it would help. Sighing, he nodded and looked back down at Limepaw, her small structure so different from his own. "Ah, don't worry. I'm sure we'll do fine," he mewed, cheerfully but doubt racked his brain.

rainbowkit sneered at her sister and hopped after her. hey, hold still, how am I supposed to 'it' you if I can catch you? she cried. she gave up chasing her sister and went after costanokit, then grebekit, then back to cascadekit. she was bouncing all over the place, back and forth, side to side, up and down and all around.
