"Amethyststar!!!"
The bellow was as sonorous as an explosion yet the reason for it was confusing. However, few had seen Solsticesong slip out of camp to clear her head from the leader's news and to go see if she could hunt with Spectrumflash. The shaggy-furred wraith stepped out of the shadows of EclipseClan and forward so everyone else could see.
Her breaths erratic, his blood streaming down her face and sides, and legs shaky, Solsticesong entered the Main Clearing with Spectrumflash on her back. Her hazel eyes stared straight forward.
"If you need more proof about the Tribe, here it is," she said, voice starkly different than from her roar earlier. It was back to its quiet tone again. She had no qualms addressing the leader as such.

Maplepaw hissed softly at Rosemarypool, then shrugged to her brother. "I don't know. Maybe," she meowed, shrugging. The tabby apprentice began to groom herself, despite the fact that her coat was already sleek as a fish. She was interrupted mid-lick, however, when Solstoicesong - her new mentor, Maplepaw added to herself - burst into camp, carrying a limp tom on her back. Blood poured down the fluffy warrior's sides, so much of it that Maplepaw could barely tell if it was the tomcat bleeding or Solstoicesong herself. However, when she spoke again, this time in a hushed tone, shivers ran down Maplepaw's spine. Maybe... [/blockquote]

Moonmist gasped quietly when she saw Spectrumflash on Solsticesong's back. She stood up and walked tenderly towards the other she-cat. She stopped a few tail lengths away.
What... What happened? she asked, her vpoice merely a whisper. her eyes were wide with fright and sorrow. Wait. Where was Razortomb?
Moonmist looked around for her mate in a frantic hurry that only a worried soon-to-be mother could pull off.

Silentsong nodded without hesitation. Offered to hunt, he was! He knew he and Rosemarypool were pretty alike; he would easily make friends. Already, he was opening up. "Hunting...sounds, uh...great." That was his way of opening up, at least. After all, he wasn't one to talk much. He spoke in a low mumur, only audible to the she-cat. He surveyed her appearance; her long, silky fur was a dark ochre color on top. Her bottom half was snowy white - if she were to lay in the snow belly-up, she could be completely camoflauged. He large, shining orbs were a blue-green. She was, rest assured, quite dazzling, yet the muscular tortoiseshell tom couldn't find it within himself to say anything of the sort.

Prophecypaw;;Prophecypaw's head whipped around towards Solsticesong as she came in. The Medicine cat apprentice rushed over, placing his ear agianst the Spectrumflash's chest before flicking his tail at the she-cat. "We need to get him to Littlefox's den. Can you make it to there with him on your back, Solsticesong?" He asked the she-cat in his quiet voice before turning his head to look for Littlefox

Crowpaw ignored his sister because of the sight of Soliticesong entering the camp with a bleeding tomcat draped over her shoulders. Even if they hadn't entered the camp at that time, Crowpaw would still be ignoring his sister. She was so stubborn that he really couldn't bare to sit with her anymore. As Prophecypaw ran up to the tom, Crowpaw couldn't bare to sit with his sister any longer and he followed his friend. As he approached the dead tom, Crowpaw realized it was Spectrumflash and his face fell to a frown. A frown in disappointment. He was slightly happy that Amethyststar wasn't lying. And he was also upset. A cat was dead, so who was next?

A mottled figure turned her head from Amethystar as the scent of blood covered her. She quietly nodded to Solsticesong, as to tell her to come to her den, and padded towards her den. She quickly made the tom a nest, and waited.
The figure of his grandfather, so alike in comparison, some looked and thought he was the great Moonclan leader himself. Razortomb's eyes were hollow with grief, and he met his mate halfway. He rested his head on her shoulder and sighed. Another had gone, who else would go?
Spicetalon's holler of grief was echoed across the clearing. He raced to his former apprentice and brother. Spicetalon pressed his muzzle into the tom's side, as he still balanced on Solsicesong's shoulders. His own drooped with weariness. Spicetalon drew away, tears rolling down his face. He turned and padded to his sister, Amethystar, and pressed against her side, seeking comfort.

A pretty tortoiseshell she-cat entered camp, her jaws filled with prey. She noticed that something had happened, then saw Spectrumflash's motionless body. Fernpelt dropped her prey on the pile and padded slowly over to the crowd, looking for one cat in particular. She couldn't find the form she longed to see most, though, the form of Becansong. She wondered what she had missed, but stayed quiet for the moment.
The fiery pelt of Scarletpetal stood out in the crowd as she weaved to the front, eyes filling with tears. She pressed her muzzle into her brothers motionless body and sobs racked her own body. She looked at Solsticesong, brows furrowed. 'What happened?' she asked quietly, her voice cracking.

A smile lit up Rosemarypool's face at Silentsong's words. "Cool," she mewed. The young warrior looked up, ears standing straight up, as the scent of blood stung her nose. The she-cat's eyes widened as Solsticesong staggered into the camp, covered in blood. Rosemarypool crouched, her ears flattening. What has happened? It was only then that she realised it was not Solsticesong bleeding, but Spectrumflash. Rosemarypool felt a pit of fear grow in her stomach, and she swallowed. The brown tabby shrank closer to Silentsong, her face a mask of fear and doubt.
Pantherstealth rasped his tongue happily over Petaldance's ears. The dappled tom's amber eyes narrowed as he heard a raw-throated yowl, and the tang of blood tainted the clean air. Pantherstealth poked his head out of the brambles, his eyes widening as he caught sight of Spectrumflash's tattered body. The dark-coated warrior spotted Scarletpetal, tears dripping down her cheeks. He felt sympathy ache in his heart, and turned around to rejoin Petaldance in the nursery. "Spectrumflash's dead," he mewed, pressing against her side.
Amethyststar had nodding to Spicetalon, when a thunderous yowl split the air. The small black she-cat turned around, dark fur bristling, claws out, teeth bared. She then recognized Solsticesong, though the fluffy warrior's fur was stained crimson with blood. Amethyststar frowned, before spotting the bloody form of Spectrumflash. Her heart leapt up into her mouth. What had happened now? What else had been taken from her? Amethyststar padded towards the two cats, her tail high but trembling. She stood over the fallen tom, not questioning Spicetalon and Scarletpetal's greif. She peered at his wounds, her eyes narrowing. Sharp, blunt clawmarks to the throat and sides. "How did this happen?" she asked Solsticesong, trying to remain composed. She could feel Corbynpaw's jeering eyes fixed on her, and she was suddenly sure that the tom was enjoying her moment of fear.
Corbynpaw watched Solsticesong enter the camp with glee in his pale eyes. This will show them. The cruel thought snaked through his mind, and he felt no shame. He did not hide the smirk on his lips. He didn't care that a cat had died. The Tribe had made their mark, and he would have revenge. He would take revenge on every cat in this wretched clan - but especially Amethyststar. His mother. The mother that would never, and could never love him. Corbynpaw stared at Spectrumflash's eyes, no sorrow in his eyes, only satisfaction. This was only the start - Spectrumflash's death was of no great importance. It was just the beginning.

A smile crept onto the tom's face at her reply, but it quickly vanished. Solsticesong had burst into the camp, bloodied by a limp warrior's body. That warrior was Spectrumflash.
He wasn't close to the other, but thorn of sadness pricked his heart. For once he was hurt by death in his own Clan, besides the loss of his family. As Rosemarypool moved closer, Silentsong lowered his head. This was only the beginning. Who would be next?

Solsticesong shook her head vehemently. "I am unhurt...and Spectrumflash is gone, Prophecypaw," she said wistfully. Her muscles screamed from the dead weight upon and she laid on her belly, rolling Spectrumflash off of her. The fluffy femme's blood-covered mask seemed almost demonic upon her, her hazel eyes piercing out and snatching the little light in the air.
"I was coming from the bushes to ask why he was hunting alone, for I needed some time to escape the Clan for a moment. I came upon him like this. It's just like you said, Amethyststar, he said that the Tribe of Nightmares had done this to him," she said breathlessly, her legs propping up her body. "There was no way I could save him, for I am not the fastest cat in the clan and even less so carrying him, a gravely-injured cat. I stayed by his side in case a fox arrived to finish him off. He died in my paws."
Her eyes narrowed, facing all of her Clan. "This Tribe has become more and more of a threat..." She looked down upon the tomcat by her side.

Prophecypaw;; His eyes widened, ears pressed down upon his head. He hadn't noticed that Spectrumflash was dead. He pressed his nose to the dead tom's pelt, then rasied his head to look at Solsticesong. The small apprentice pressed his unbalanced body agianst the she-cat's, hoping to help her balance. "It was out of your paws, Solsticesong. The Tribe of Nightmares is at fault. Don't punish yourself over this" He whispered, trying to sooth the she-cat. His eyes flickered around

A gasp of shock racked her body at Pantherstealths words. Petaldance clambered to her feet and pressed against her mate, not able to hide the anxiety filling her lilac-blue eyes. She heard the talk outside and this confirmed her fears. "It was the Tribe of Nightmares" she whispered, almost in horror. This was just the beginning, she could feel it in her paws. How many more would go until the nightmare ended. She twined her tail with Pantherstealths and looked worridly at her kits. She prayed to StarClan none of her family was taken, or her mate, or Sunheart or any of Sunhearts kits. That would almosty certainly destroy her. [/blockquote]

Brokensoul was about to say something else to Troutpaw when Solsticesong burst into the clearing, carring a burden on her back. Brokensoul left his friend behind to weave through the crowd to get a better look. He saw that the warrior was carrying Spectrumflash on her back. His eyes widened at the wounds on her neck. Claw marks marred the neck of the now dead warrior. Brokensoul knew that the Tribe had struck again. He knew now was the time to tell Amethyeststar of his thoughts. Even if was jut a new warrior, just maybe she would listen. He dodged through the cats, until he arrived at the front. He was panting a little, but he managed to speak. Amethyeststar!, he gasped. I have something to say about this Tribe. [/blockquote]

He's dead, he's dead, he's dead... she repated to herself as she pressed up against Razortomb. She dug her face into his chest and sobbed quietly. Spectrumflash had been such a good friend.
How could this happen?! she asked herself. Not now, not now. Why now? Why him? Why our clan? she mewled to herself quietly through sobs.

Solsticesong looked coldly down at Prophecypaw and she struggled not to snap at the medicine cat apprentice. "I'm fine," she barked. She came to her paws, rolling her shoulders back. The massive she-cat turned and stormed away towards the warrior's den, feeling a bit frazzled.
Maverickkit's eyes opened in horror and he whined, backing up and running full-speed towards his mother. He nearly collided head-on with her and began crying. "There's a dead cat out there!" he wailed.
Troutpaw's hair stood on end in shook, hardly believing what she was seeing. Her cobalt eyes shifted from Spectrumflash to Solsticesong to Brokensoul. She wondered what he was going to say.

Through all the pain he suffered while he heard of his uncle's death, Razortomb stayed composed and comforting as he gently cleaned Moonmist's ears. He didn't deserve this death. He deserved to die nobely. He meowed quietly, his voice not betraying any emotion. Razortomb's eyes though, glimmered with pain.
