fernpelt. The winter breeze ruffled the small group's pelts as they made their way through the undergrowth that was about to make way for EclipseClan camp. Fernpelt - now Fernstar - lead the group, side by side with her mate. She had been quiet on the journey back from the Moonshard; contemplating what had just happened. She had been granted her nine lives, and her leaders name. It had happened very differently than she had imagined it - some lives had been painful, others had given her a warm feeling. She had also been thinking about the fact that there had been two cats missing from the crowd of StarClan warriors when she had been there - Brackenkit and Solsticesong. What did this mean? Were they still alive somewhere, waiting to be rescued? She just didn't know. It seemed stupid now that she hadn't asked StarClan about them; they would surely have known where they were.
As they neared camp, Fernstar turned to her mate. "Beacansong, I didn't... I didn't see Brackenkit up there, with StarClan. What does it mean? Should I send out more search parties?" she asked, her eyes betraying the hope that she was feeling.
[[Could Kuri post with Brackenkit coming back here, please? And Aurrie with Solsticesong, if she is coming back at all.]]

beaconsong The skinny Rex tom shivered as he followed his mate back to the camp, Glacierfrost and Mottledsnow in their wake. He glanced back at the other warriors. Glacierfrost was stocky and well-built, and Mottledsnow was used to the cold after her travels. Even Fernstar had a thick tortoiseshell coat to keep her warm. Beaconsong shuddered convulsively. His fur, which was so short it was just a fuzzy coating to his skin, was not keeping him warm at all. The warrior increased his pace, anxious to get home. He noticed the troubled look in his mate's eyes, and frowned anxiously. He blinked his wide yellow eyes at her words. She hadn't seen Brackenkit in StarClan? Did that mean he was still out there, suffering? He set his jaw in fury. "Yes. Yes! We have to find him!" He noticed how loud his voice had become, and looked at his paws, embarrased. The subject of his missing son always made him upset. "Both of them..."
