APPEARANCE !![/i]
You’ve probably heard of Grasswhistle, right? Well, looking at this little kit, you’d have no doubt at all that it was his offspring. An absolute replica of his father, this is Grasskit.
As usual in my works, we shall begin with the outline of the subject. The frame, the body, the figure. He’s is not bulky or hulky looking, but he certainly has some muscle underneath that soft little fur of his. Grasskit is normal size and thickness (if you know what I mean), no larger than the majority of the kits but definitely not smaller than them. Average-length, sturdy legs transport him here, there, wherever his little heart should desire him to go. A confident poise is always about this lovable youngster. A thin, mid-length fluffy tail whisks out behind him as he rushes off to save his “ritter radies.” A big, handsome face tipped with pointed ears and a wet pink nose finish off this section of our discussion.
And, as according to plan, we shall now begin fill in that blank outline with some colors. First, we’ll douse him in soft, chocolate brown fur. Easy, right? Now is when you need a paintbrush rather than a bucket. A deep, dark brown will do nicely for this part. Just give him some tabby stripes along his back and flanks. Then proceed to his thighs, shoulders, and legs. And now we work our way up the tail…good, good. Don’t forget the back of the neck, and some on those fluffy little cheeks of his. Make sure your brush is moisture-free, now; we’ll be needing as dark a brown as we can get. Paint the tabby markings on his forehead, and coat the back of his ears. Now, we move on to some white. Just dip his paws in a bucket and that should do. Don’t bother wiping off the excess; his paws are whiter than snow. Finally, his eyes. Grasskit’s eyes are green, always shining with courage and determination.
And there you have it. Grasskit.
Hey, I will stand my ground
And I wont back down
Well I know what's right
I got just one life
And I wont back down

I got just one life
PERSONALITY !!If you met Grasswhistle as a kit, you would swear this was the exact same cat. Loyal to the end, Grasskit will never let his Clan down. He will fight to the death to serve and protect his loved ones. Of course, he can take fighting a bit far. If he must he will battle without mercy in order to avenge what wrong has been done to him or those he knows. Sometimes he may kill his enemy if not restrained. A proud, fierce fighter but a lovable and protective one as well, Grasskit is an amazing friend. You will find a pal for life in this sweet little replica kitten.
A bubbly, happy soul he is. Grasskit could almost be considered the young superhero of the nursery. No cat gets away with bullying another when he’s around. He defends his ‘”ritter radies” (he has a speech impediment identical to his father’s) from the forces of the big bad meanie-meanie cats who order them around and put them down. He’s quite chatty and talkative, and loves hearing stories of brave warriors long passed, especially his father. He’s taken on a brave and courageous personality, striving to be the “bestest, greatest warrior that the Cran has even sheen!”
In a world that keeps on pushin’ me around
But I’ll stand my ground
And I wont back down
Hey baby
There ain’t no easy way out
But I’ll stand my ground
And I wont back down
Hey baby
There ain’t no easy way out
HISTORY !!
It starts way far back, but like a movie, the beginning isn’t amazingly interesting. There was Ribbontail, who gave birth to three she-kits. They were Dapplekit, Frostkit, and Tansykit. However, to Ribbontail’s dismay. Tansykit was born blind. Other kits steered clear of her, the situation awkward. But then, he came.
His name was Grasskit. He and his sister, Spottedkit, had been found by a CloudClan patrol and returned home. Grasskit saw past Tansykit’s sightlessness, playing with her and protecting her from all of the big mean bully cats that had the nerve to pick on her. They grew up through apprenticeship together, the closest of friends.
Their warrior ceremony was nearing. Tansypaw had been assigned to guard the entrance of the camp while the others attended the Gathering. From the darkness loomed the murderous rogue known as Quetzal. Tansypaw had her eyes fixed upon the ground for fear of other cats seeing them. ”Look up, silly girl,” Quetzal taunted, ”or are you afraid of seeing Death?” The rogue swiped her over the tail, and Tansypaw yelped for Grasspaw’s assistance. The brave little tom managed to drive Quetzal out of the camp, but was severely injured in the process. Ribbontail dashed to Jay’s Hollow to fetch Dragonflydance. While they were gone, they confessed their love for each other.
The duo returned. Dragonflydance couldn’t do much besides dress his wounds with a poultice and cobwebs. Grasspaw asked to be alone with Tansypaw, and they obliged. The young tom asked her if she would mate with him. She was hesitant at first. Apprentices weren’t supposed to mate; it was against the warrior code. However, she agreed, as there was no other way she could bear his kits. He fell to the paws of StarClan that night, and she was left alone and devastated.
A few days later, Tansypaw was named Tansyfrost. Stormstar also honored Grasspaw by naming him Grasswhistle, the cat who protected the camp from the blood-thirsty Quetzal. Two to three moons later, the blind she-cat bore the kits. Fadedmemory was at her side, helping her to name the kits. Jasminekit and Heatherkit were named for Fadedmemory said they were “as soft as heather and jasmine, and as beautiful as those flowers also.” Taigakit was named for the scent of snow that Tansyfrost detected as she was thinking of a name for the to-be arrogant tom. And Grasskit…the idea is obvious, here. He was an absolute replica of his father.
And they were born, her kits, her four little kits.
