kissedmagic Her paws were soft and silent against the snow. She walked pressed up against Palegust, her eyes slits and her mouth clamped shut. Not that the mute she-cat had anything to say, anyway. Her long, usually immaculate white and silver fur was messy, blown about so that it all fell over the wrong sides. What could be seen of her sapphire eyes was clouded with exhaustion. The she-cat seemed to pull herself together a little as they entered the CloudClan camp. A shiver than down her spine, something that had nothing to do with the temperature. Kissedmagic whimpered softly, her body tense with fear. She didn't belong here. She shot Palegust an anxious glance, her blue eyes wide now. Wide and frightened. ribbontail A cat sat just outside the medicine den. It was Ribbontail. Half of her body was wrapped in herbs, making her nearly unrecognizable. The bits of her body that could be seen where matted, as though she hadn't been able to wash herself properly. Since her accident, Ribbontail had been pretty useless. She still could barely walk, though she despised this and pushed herself to breaking point every day. She was tired now, and slumped in an odd sitting position outside Emeraldpaw's den. The warrioress sighed. She distracted herself from her frustration by thinking of Tansyfrost's kits. Her first grandchildren. Her heart swelled with love as she thought of Taigakit, Heatherkit, Jasminekit and Grasskit. Ribbontail's dark blue eyes snapped open as she caught the scent of SerenityClan. Her face twisted into a hiss that hurt her crushed chest. "What's going on here?" she mewed, trying to make her weak, rasping voice sound threatening. |

[/font][/size] Palegust licked Kissedmagic's head quickly to calm he down. Then he turned to Ribbontail. 'Ribbontail, this is Kissedmagic. She is a warrior of Serenityclan that I have found on our territory. She was in need of a medicine cat, so I brought her to the closest camp which was ours.' He hoped that she believed him. After all, it wasn't a lie, that's what actually happened. He just didn't tell her the whole story. Palegust turned back to Kissedmagic and hissed to her, something that Ribbontail wouldn't be able to hear, 'Follow along, okay?' Then he turned back to Ribbontail.[/sup][/blockquote] |

Cloakedclaw
The tom, a shadow of his father, crossed the clearing, grabbing a rabbit on his way. Cloakedclaw reached Ribbontail and pressed his muzzle against her ear, before dropping the rabbit in front of her. "Hey, how are you?" He asked her, smiling. Then he lifted his head, and looked at the newcomers. "Welcome, Kissedmagic. I hope you are well too." He smiled, showing kindness in his face. Then he turned his muzzle back towards Ribbontail and lay down beside her, cleaning her ears.

ribbontail The silver bengal she-cat narrowed her eyes at the quailing she-cat. She didn't seem to be a danger, but looks could be decieving. She didn't like a SerenityClanner in camp, not when her grandkits were so young and vulnerable. She snorted angrily. "Fine," she mewed. "Emeraldpaw? There's cat here who need's you." The stricken warrioress continued to groom herself painfully, her face screwed up. She looked up as her mate appeared. The beautiful bengal managed to smile, for him. She blinked at the rabbit gratefully - she was pretty hungry, and it was a struggle to get to the fresh kill pile, though she didn't like to admit it. "Thanks," she purred, touching her velvety grey nose to his throat. "I'm okay. Bit stiff," she admitted. She frowned a little at Cloakedclaw's easy greeting of the she-cat, but let it slide. kissedmagic The longhaired she-cat trembled under Ribbontail's scrutinizing eyes. She tried to hide behind Palegust, her sapphire eyes nervous. She looked terrified as the tom asked her to play along with his white lie - but gave a small nod anyway. Kissedmagic quailed once more under Ribbontail's words. She still trembled under Cloakedclaw's eyes, though the tabby was far more accepting than his mate. She stuck close to her rescuer, her bushy tail low and her whole body sagging with fear.
