leafblade [/i] now, cats would get suspicious of why she was like this now. Pregnant. She cringed slightly at the word. Would he reject her, or this? Would he push her away? Leafblade sighed, sinking her claws into the ground. At this very moment, she felt worthless. Everyone she loved hated her. Runespell did for something she didn't know about. Flaxfeather. That hit her hard in the chest as she thought of him. Those simple words had ruined everything in a mater of minutes. Shaking her head she stood up, licking down her tortoiseshell pelt before entering the warrior's den, and looking around. [/ul] [ooc] Reserved for Shader with either Flax or Rune <3 [/sup]

flaxfeather Inside the warriors' den, Flaxfeather was asleep. But his dreams were troubled, not peaceful. He twisted and turned in his nest, kicking Mistyvale accidentally, whose nest was nextdoor to his. The young tom was dreaming of Leafblade, and the impossible situation he had got himself into. He was staring at her, now drowning in her green eyes. Eyes that only a second ago had looked beautiful, but now looked sickeningly so. Flaxfeather gasped as he awoke. His thick ginger tabby fur was ruffled into clumps. The warrior took a few moments to calm himself, gasping for breath. He then shuddered a couple of times and thoroughly groomed his fluffy coat. Flaxfeather got to his paws, swaying a little, intending to leave the den for some air. He then spotted Leafblade. He sighed. She was the last cat he wanted to see right now. "'Lo, Leafblade." His voice reflected his feelings.

leafblade [/color] She said, raising her head slightly. Her green eyes narrowed into slits. "Is there a reason why your speaking to me?" She asked coldly, her tail flicking behind her slowly, touching the sides of her stomach with the tip of her tail. [/ul][/sub]

flaxfeather The fluffy ginger tom sighed at her cold expression. He knew she had every right to be angry with him. He had just dumped her without an explanation. He had spurned her love and hurt her in more ways than one. The tom hung his head. He wanted more than anything to reconcile with her, but he knew that was not possible. It was much too late. It was better for both of them if they severed all ties. "Sorry," he grunted expressionlessly, turning to leave the den. "I just thought y'looked... Err... Nothing." He left the den, trying hard not to brush pelts with her. Impulsive anger flared through him. This was her fault. She had brought it on herself, leading him on like that. Stupid she-cat...

flaxfeather Flaxfeather blinked, turning his head as Leafblade followed him. What is with her? She doesn't want to speak to me and yet she follows me? He ignored her, not wanting to be part of her games anymore. Flaxfeather frowned at her, his pastel green eyes angry and confused as she came closer. "What?" he blurted in confusion and irritation. His face changed at her words. What was she talking about? His kits? It took a few moments before the words sunk in. His fur bristled, and his face went blank with shock. No. No. No. This could not be happening. It could not! Flaxfeather stared at her face before she turned to pad into the warriors' den again. Fury overtook his surprise. "How was I supposed to know you were pregnant you stupid she-cat?" he hissed furiously. "Don't give me that tortured face, okay? I didn't know you were gonna go and get pregnant!"

leafblade [/color] She said quietly as she rested her head down, looking up at him with her leaf-green eyes. Oh StarClan. Why am I telling him this? He hates me. And he'll hate the kits that he fathered Leafblade winced as she thought this. [/ul][/sub]

flaxfeather Flaxfeather hissed in Leafblade's face. His green eyes were slits now, and his mind wiped by anger. He wasn't thinking straight. All he wanted to do was hurt Leafblade (mentally) as much as possible. "If you hadn't led me on I never would have!" he yowled at her, his fur bristling. He didn't care that warriors were waking up around them, grumbling or smirking. "So shut your mouth!" Flaxfeather heard the grumblings again, louder, more widespread. He looked at his paws, then up at Leafblade again. "Just get out of my life, Leafblade! Your like a fly! Every time I think you're gone you just come back!" With that he whipped around and left the den. pecanshell Pecanshell was awake before the yelling even began. The slender brown tabby rolled over in her nest, annoyed. Suddenly, she recognized one of the voices. Flaxfeather. It still took her a while to pick out Mistyvale and Flaxfeather, the brother and sister she had, until recently, known nothing about. Pecanshell's sapphire eyes narrowed as she picked up the jist of the argument. She got to her paws as Flaxfeather left the den, and padded to Leafblade. Flaxfeather was such a prat. He had no idea what effect his words had on other's sometimes. "You okay?" her voice was rough, but it betrayed that she did care. She wasn't a monster, contrary to what some of the cats in BrightClan thought.
// I hate being mean to Leaf. *pets her*

leafblade [/color] She murmured, her stomach twitching slightly before she looked away from the she-cat. "I thought you would have been on your father's side. No speaking to me at all?" Leafblade mewed, glancing up again.[/ul][/sub]

pecanshell Pecanshell plonked herself down beside the tortoiseshell, wrapping her striped tail around her snowy forepaws. She smirked at Leafblade's first words - just the stuck-up she-cat she had met when she first returned to BrightClan, denying her pain. But Leafblade had changed now. She was still a drama queen, but Pecanshell no longer resented her for her spite upon her return. The warrioress blinked at Leafblade. "He's just sulking. He'll get over it," she told Leafblade, with certainty in her voice. The brown tabby she-cat sighed. "Right merss you're in, eh?" She smiled sympathetically Leafblade. She felt sorry for any who was on the revieving end of one of Flaxfeather's tirades - even Leafblade. She didn't like the she-cat very much, but if nobody else wanted to help her out of this sticky mess, she was willing.

leafblade [/color] She meowed quietly as her tail tip flicked up and down. "You can say that again. I always seem to dig myself a hole. I've lost everyone, and never tried to do anything about it. I don't know what to do" She murmured, pulling her paws under her body. [/ul][/sup]

pecanshell The light brown tabby she-cat blinked as Leafblade began to speak. At least she was being reasonable. It didn't matter if Flaxfeather hated Leafblade, though of course it would hurt her. But where was that tough she-cat who had first confronted her? Gone. This was just the shell. Pecanshell rolled her sapphire eyes as Leafblade continued. Here we go again... The she-cat slapped her tail down on the grass with a sharp smacking sound. "If you're just going to sit here feeling sorry for yourself, don't expect me to hang around," she mewed briskly, getting to her paws. "You got yourself into this mess. You can get yourself out, right? Forget my idiot brother. Just concentrate on your kits. You're smart enough. You can make friends." She looked at Leafblade, her eyes speaking as loud as any words. I can either be your friend or your enemy. Your choice.

leafblade [/color] Leafblade mewed, touching her tail tip to the she-cat's shoulder before raising her eyes to meet the sapphire gaze of the older warrioress. "Making friends has never been the strong point, considering the fact that the only reason others acknowledge me is because my father was one of the best climbers that just...disappeared" She shrugged, then started towards the den entrance. Her eyes flicked back to Pecanshell, meeting her eyes and giving a small smile. "Thank you"[/ul][/sup]
