genesis His pawsteps were silenced by the layer of snow on the ground, concealing the grass. A visible shudder ran down his thin frame as snowflakes settled themselves on his short, slate-grey fur. His 'extra' pair of ears joined in with the juddering. Genesis's dark green eyes saught out one thing, and one thing along - the bright tortoiseshell pelt that screamed Berryleaf. He knew it was dangerous, wandering here, but he wanted to see the kind, pretty cat again. She had explained the clans to him. He had done a bit of his own research (spying) which had broadened his knowledge a little. Genesis longed to see her face again. She was the only cat he knew here - the only cat who liked him. The tom huffed a little. It was really cold. And she didn't seem to be here. Maybe he should just leave it for today, though the thought made his heart thud with disappointment.

Berryleaf [/right] The tortoiseshell she-cat walking quietly through the forest for the tenth time that day. She was weary and cold, but her Clan needed to be fed. She heard that most of the prey was found around the small pool in the Shaded Clearing because snow didn't fall much around here thanks to the trees covering it. But the snow was just enough to cover the grass and she began to doubt that she would find any living thing here. Suddenly she heard another cat walking along the snow, not even trying to cover up the noise he was making. She growled slightly, agitated that someone was hunting on their territory. Normally she would be like this, but it was rare times such as this that she understood why they had Clan borders.
The she-cat crouched down until her belly just barely touched the snow. Quietly and step by step she slowly made her way to the noise, oblivious that it was her friend, Genesis. The she-cat came up to a bush and knew that the tom was on the other side of it, so she listened to his noise and tried to judge where he most likely would be. When she thought she knew, the she-cat pounced over the small bush, but to soon she realized that she jumped too far and only landed inside of another pile of snow. She pulled herself out and quickly shock the snow from her body. Turning around, her angry glare turned into a happy stare. "Genesis!"

genesis The grey tom blinked in wariness as a he heard a slight rustle. He knew there was somebody stalking him. The fur along his spine bristled into a spiked mane. The loner blinked his eyes nervously. He knew there was no chance of running now. He would just have to explain himself. He didn't like fighting. He prided himself on being an easy-going individual. Genesis hissed in shock as a shape flew over him to land in a pile of snow. The grey tom whipped around to stare at the mound. A bedraggled head pushed it's way. Relief settled inside of him, followed by a flame of happiness. Genesis grinned at Berryleaf. "You sure know how to make an entrance," he mewed at her, chuckling. Genesis waited whilst she pulled herself free, then padded to her and touched his nose gently to her's. "How've you been keeping?"
