light has...
the fragrence of the flowers

appearence Piperheart is a beautiful she-cat, but maybe it's how average and plain she is that makes her beautiful. You don't notice her as soon as she leaves the warrior's den. All eyes are not always on her. It's a subtle grace that can only be discovered when you take the time to watch her, to get to know her better. At first glance, she seems downright plain: a white she-cat with wispy fur and pale aquamarine eyes.
But that's just the beginning. For one, she's a pretty big she-cat, well-muscled and steadily built. Her shoulders are just as far across as a large tomcat's, her legs just as ready to tear at someone else. But despite all the muscle, it just makes her look more feminine. And she sometimes even seems petite, if she were to crouch against the ground and keep her tail down. It's all one big optical illusion, but the bottom line is that she's a very fit cat.
This she-cat's eyes - aquamarine, as I mentioned before - can as captivating or shame-inducing as she wants. They're expressive things, wide as almonds most of the time but chipped down to slits when she's mad. The color is odd of a white cat, which usually have green or golden eyes lest be born blind or deaf. Well, maybe she got lucky; because Piperheart's eyes are bright, blinding blue and she's perfectly healthy.
There isn't much to say about her fur. It's not exactly soft or plush, but it covers her and keeps her warm in the winter and cool in the summer, who could ask for more?

personality Piperheart's got a surprising amount of spunk for a cat who seems so harmless as first glance. She also has a handful of oddities about her.
Oddity 1: the way she interacts with her Clanmates. Upon meeting her, you'll probably guess that she's a shy she-cat with no reason to talk to others. Wrong... and right. Once she's opened up to someone, you'll see her spunky, outgoing personality. But she doesn't waste words on strangers, so it's a bit hard to talk to her. Another thing that only complicates normal conversation with her is that she can suddenly became hostile or commanding with someone she feels uncomfortable with.
Oddity 2: her panic attacks. She's long been withheld from battles because of this. One second she could be fighting side-by-side with one of her best friends, but when she's left to fight anyone alone it's as if whatever was wiring all that calm suddenly short circuits. Anything that she hears whispers: Escape, escape, escape. She's very fragile despite her usual cool composure. Even if it looks like she's got everything planned for, even if she seems loaded for bear, if one small thing goes wrong or if she's left by a partner or ally, every little thing starts to crumble down on her.
Oddity 3: her denial. She hates being caught out on her panic or even being helped. She'll hotly deny being scared even as her spine curls up and her heart pounds against her chest. It's all a part of a fierce self-pride and a constant need to defend herself from anything that could hurt her. Paranoia, almost, but she'll never let it show. Not to anyone. Not even a mate.

historyPiperheart was born into the happy family of Deerfrost and Grapeclaw. Both successful warriors, Piperkit was the only she-cat of their second litter, alongside her brothers Sandkit and Skuakit. Piperkit was a very intelligent kit by nature, often not knowing how she knew things. Sandkit and Skuakit were her partners in crime as they prowled around camp long after her bedtime. But one night, a horrible tragedy swept the camp one night when they were out playing. Chaosfire, the former leader, attacked for the first time. Sandkit and Skuakit were both killed that night, their bodies found outside camp, carried away to be killed by rogues when Piperkit wasn't looking.
That was devastating for young Piperkit. She lived her next few moons in silence, and was apprenticed to her older sister, Lemmingfang. Lemmingfang was kind and sweet and Piperpaw couldn't have imagined her doing anything wrong. Lemmingfang slowly got Piperpaw back into her mischievous ways, something she was both glad and frustrated about. But one day, during training, Piperpaw witnessed murder firsthand. It all happened so fast, but Piperheart still remembers it.
"What are you doing here?" was the first thing that Lemmingfang said to the strange black tom who had emerged from the ferns. Piperpaw watched as her mentor went from defensive to downright hostile in a matter of heartbeats. When the tom, whom she seemed to know from somewhere, leapt at her, Lemmingfang had no choice but to fight back. She ended up killing the former SerenityClanner, Snakescale by name, in front of a horrified Piperpaw.
When Lemmingfang saw what she had done, she begged Piperpaw to understand. She had been head-over-heels in love with the tom, but had been abused by him after she got pregnant by him, and it had hurt her more than anything. He had taken their kits and left them to be rogues without telling her, and she never saw her children again. She needed revenge. Still, Piperpaw refused to believe her, to forgive her. She ran into the woods and wouldn't come back until Deerfrost herself came to retrieve her youngest daughter. That night, Piperpaw came to a shocking conclusion:
You cannot trust anyone. Ever.
Lemmingfang was exiled for an undetermined period of time, and she gave Piperpaw one last, pleading glance before she left. And even when Piperheart was old enough to understand, it was hard. It was always hard. So now, Piperheart has a chronic fear of relationships... but what about when she finds herself in Lemmingfang's position?
What will she do then?
