A dark shadow pushed it's way through the snow it's glowing blue eyes holding a searching look, this shadow held a lighter look to it, a blue-gray shade. His body had grown more since his last day as an apprentice, he had a more built body though it had only been a few days after his ceremony. His sister had been gone way to long for him just to sit around, his aquamarine eyes glowed with determination to find Harmonytale. The dark male would have brought his brother along with him but he didn't want to put Topazrain's life in danger as well. Abyssmagic almost sat down in frustration when a faint scent slithered into his nose, ears perked up the blue-gray male started to sniff the air for more scents but found them in one spot closest to the ground.

The male started to dig the snow out of the way expecting to find the cold body of his twin sister but only found the entrance of a badgers den. The young male almost started to step back in fear but Harmonytale and a male known as Marbleglint's scent came strong against his nostrils. Abyssmagic stood back but looked hard into the old set and saw the breathing silver-blue body and the lanky bengal body. "Harmonytale! Marbleglint! I'm I glad to find you!" A large smile spread on his face and his aquamarine eyes glinted with excitement.

It felt so wrong, yet so right. But he knew the consequences could be fatal. It was a horrible, horrible thing. And yet they had. They knew that they shouldn't have, but they had. It had only been one time, but that one time could always be the one. The one time could always be that one time that...that...he couldn't bear to think about it. What would happen if the Clan found out? What would happen to Harmonypaw as a medicine cat? If she lost her position, he didn't know what he'd do. She was so dedicated to her job, he would kill himself if it was taken from her. It made her so happy...

Marblepaw, unknowing that his name was now Marbleglint (thus meaning he didn't know Harmonypaw's new name either), thought about these things as he pressed against his love for warmth. And then he heard a voice. Marbleglint? Had he missed his warrior ceremony while being trapped down here? Oh, StarClan. And Harmonytale...so she'd earned her name too! "Did you hear that?" he murmured to her. Marbleglint then heard a loud scuffling noise, and a strong beam of light filtered into the badger set. "Who goes there!?" he shouted. The hole grew, being scuffed away until finally a dark silhouette was visible. His eyes adjusted and he recognized Abysspaw, Harmonytale's brother (well, he figured the other tom had his warrior name too, but what it was he didn't know). "H-h-hi..."[/blockquote]

The gray she-cat was curled up tightly next to Marblepaw, but she wasn't asleep. Her eyes were closed, but her mind drifted over to the thoughts of what had happened the night before, something she was almost ashamed of and knew that she could be kicked out of her position for. Her thoughts drifted to everything that had happened that night and what she had told Marblepaw. Now it all seemed foolish and she wished that it was all just a dream that never happened.

Suddenly, she didn't know how, but she felt her brothers presence. Abysspaw! He was near and she could feel the worry that he felt. She almost yowled out in joy when she heard the scraping of claws against the snow that filled in the entrance. She was shocked when Abbysspaw was calling her Harmonytale. Then she realized that he must have his warrior name now. "Brother!" she called out to him, unsure of what to call him at the moment. She rushed out when the whole was big enough and pressed her forehead against his, purring deeply. "I can't believe you found us!"

The blue-gray male embraced his sister as much as he could with his fore-head rubbing gingerly against his sisters, he was about to start talking away about how worried he was but then he remembered something. They weren't there for the ceremony! Backing away and sitting in the cold snow, a little embarrassed Abyssmagic cleared his throat, "I'm sorry! I forgot that you two have been missing everything! We got our warrior names, Firestar had declared you as Harmonytale and you as Marbleglint. She gave me the name of Abyssmagic and our brother was given the name of Topazrain. Now I don't want you to embarrass yourselves so," Abyssmagic took a deep breath before continuing, "Our cousins were also made warriors, Fireblood, Mimedove, Sapphirewing, and Wolfcry. Then Ravenclaw's litter was given warrior names and Darkmagic and Wovenknot were given their apprentice names and mentors while a couple of apprentices were given mentors." While naming each cat off the male could sense something between the two of them, but he didn't get enough to worry about it any further. A smile stayed on his face as his aquamarine eyes shined at Harmonytale as his thin tail waved at Marbleglint.

The lanky bengal stepped warily from the burrow, his paws trembling from having not used them for so long. The world seemed to be spinning, twirling, dancing mockingly around him. He could hear teasing voices. She can't be ours, Marbleglint. Look what you've done. Don't you feel just awful? Why can't you just be normal and fall in love with a regular Clan she-cat instead of the one and only forbidden medicine cat apprentice? Such a shame, Marbleglint. Such a shame you are to the Clan. The tom felt himself almost choking with rage and agony and sorrow. "NO I'M NOT!" he yowled, spontaneously shoving his head into the snow. He stood there like that until he felt himself gasping for air. He'd caught his sanity back. He took a tentative step out of his freshly-made hole, looking up with embarrassment at the two siblings, feeling horribly out of place, like a lone survivor in a world full of strangers. It was a horrid feeling right then, like someone had just jabbed him in the gut. And then, looking at them, a normal pair of brother and sister, Marbleglint knew that there was no way he could go on with Harmonytale. He yearned to so badly, as this was not lust he felt for her. He truly loved her...but it could never be...[/blockquote]

"Abyssmagic." Harmonytale breathed as she tested out her brothers new name. She loved how it sounded, it matched him perfectly, and Marbleglint. She almost spoke to him when he suddenly yowled for no reason, causing her to jump to the other side of her brother and hide behind him. She then watched as Marbleglint shoved his head into the snow bank and stand there for a few minutes before pulling it back out for some air.

The medicine cat apprentice realized that she was still hiding cowering behind Abyssmagic, so she quickly stepped out from behind him and gave her chest fur a few licks. "Well. I think being down in that hole kind-of drove us a little mad." She gave Marbleglint a sympathetic blink as she knew that he must have been thinking the same things she was.
