irisdance The snow spiralled from the cloudy sky, though it was not as thick as it was on some of the other clans' territories. A small white cat was almost invisible due to this. It was Irisdance. Sat in the snow, the slender warrioress was barely visible. If you looked at her from behind, you might not be able to understand why waves of despair poured from her. With such a purely white coat, and slender figure, surely she had no reason to cry? But if you looked at her from the front, you would understand her pain. How could any tom love her with eyes the red of freshly spilled blood? She had been born a curse to her parents. They had left the clan because of her. And most of the clan looked at her with fear in their eyes. So how could he... How could the tom she liked so much ever feel the same way about her? Every time she looked at him, her heart fluttered like a butterfly. But she had seen the way his eyes glazed over her. There were other she-cat's. Plenty of other's. Far more beautiful than she... She'd seen his eyes on them. To him, she didn't even exist...
Oh, Nobleheart...

nobleheart His long legs stretched out behind him as he emerged from the warrior's den. Too much sleep would make him lazy. And what would the Clan say about the leader's only son being a lazy lump? That didn't go over well with the tom. His steel blue eyes flicked around the camp, resting upon his father's den before he glanced around for his mother or sisters. Maybe he could have a talk with Cinnabarskies? He'd probably avoid Charmfoot. His thoughts suddenly turned to an uncomfortable thought. Of course, what he really wanted to do was have a rematch with Brairpaw. Ever since that night when the two have the playfight, and he had lost, Nobleheart had been wishing she was here. He sighed, tail flicking back and forth before turning, and nearly stumbling over a white form.
"Great StarClan! Irisdance! I'm sorry, I didn't notice you. You blend so well with the snow" He meowed, nosing the she-cat up.

irisdance The snow white she-cat continued to dream to herself, so lost in her thoughts had she didn't even smell the cat she admired so much heading towards her. But she felt him as he staggered over her. Irisdance mewed in shock and fear as she sprawled in the snow, her blood-coloured eyes round as the full moon. Her heart leapt up into her mouth as a voice reached her ears. A voice that was far too perfect. Nobleheart. Why? Why did it have to be him? His words summed it up so perfectly. I didn't notice you... Irisdance hung her head for a moment, though she was secretly thrilled that, firstly, he was speaking to her, and secondly, he had remembered her name. The pure white she-cat tried not to look at him, not wanting to scare him off with her creepy eyes. The bane of her life. "I... It's o-okay...." In her shyness, she couldn't manage to say anything else.

nobleheart The tom smiled, flicking the white she-cat over the ear. Everyone said things about her....some of them not very nice. But unlike them, Nobleheart didn't listen. He could care less what was on the outside. What was on the inside was what he cared about. Smile softly, he nudged her towards the warrior's den. "C'mon. You must be freezing. I can feel your fur's cold, Irsisdance" He meowed sternly, his voice almost like his father's as he started for the warrior's den ahead of her. He sat down outside, tail tip twitching slightly. His eyes scanned the camp, searching for one cat he hoped wasn't around. Jinxpaw must be in the apprentice's den, Thank StarClan for that. He let out a breath, turning back to the pure-white warrioress.

irisdance A more confident cat might have squealed and returned the tail-blow over the ear, but Irisdance merely cringed with embarrasment. Her heart was thudding so loud in her chest that it hurt with each beat. It was worse when he touched her. She blinked several times when he nudged her gently towards the warriors' den, trying to calm herself down. She was being completely irrational. The albino she-cat staggered towards the warriors' den, her red eyes still dazed at the attention she was suddenly recieving from the object of her affections. Irisdance couldn't help but smile at his words. He said them like he actually cared. Maybe she had been wrong. But then her heart sank as Nobleheart's eyes flicked to the apprentices' den. Oh yeah, she'd noticed that. The way he followed Jinxpaw around everywhere. She wanted to sink right into the grass and have done with it.
