Tempestkit is an white, black, and auburn tom with gold green-flecked eyes.

When you see him, you might think Tempestkit is just the name of a rather fiery she-cat. Actually, that's a mistake. First of all, Tempestkit is a tom. But how, you say, can he be a calico? Correction, he's not a calico, not the type of calico you think of when you see a girl cat. He's got the colors but that's just because he's a chimera, a fusion of two differently-coloured embryos. Weird, right? Yeah, that's why his eyes are kind of weird. They're both gold with green flecks but one has more green than the other. He's perfectly healthy and sterile, and he doesn't even know he's a chimera.

Well anyway, I'm sure you're done hearing about Tempestkit's genetic make-up. It's not like you can see that. This is about physical description anyway, right? So let's get to it. Like I said before, Tempestkit has white, black, and auburn fur. It is extremely soft and medium-length, but he can shed a lot if the weather changes. Tempestkit is mostly white but he's got a helmet of tawny and black on his head and a saddle of the same colors over his back. He has a long tail as well.

Tempestkit is small but don't underestimate this guy. He packs quite a punch in vocals. He might not be able to fight well now, but what he says can knock any cat down to size. However, this tends to get him into fights and he has scars across his ears where cats have swatted at him or boxed him across the ears.

Tempestkit has no regard for the feelings of others whatsoever. He actually finds humor in being a bit mean to others, and he can't help but laugh when something bad happens to anyone but him. He shrugs when cats say he's a 'big meanie' or 'a stuck-up spoiled brat'. Basically, his reply is "What are you gonna do about it?" He reluctantly does chores simply for the fact that his dad is deputy of the Clan, and he wants to look good in front of everyone else.

He acts like a spoiled rich kid just because his father is Flarewind and that 'makes him better than anyone else'. He hates when people talk bad about his family, and he's quick to bring his father into the equation.

Knowing that he'll get out of trouble most of the time because not many will tell on the son of the deputy for fear of losing favor, Tempestkit is a prankster. He loves to hide dung by his siblings' paws so that they step on it when they wake up. He'll also tell other kits tall tales and get them into trouble while he gets away scotfree.

However, if someone is getting more attention than him (especially because of something he did), Tempestkit is quick to jealousy and this usually worsens his already-terrible mood, making him more vindictive next time he acts out. But Tempestkit sometimes bears his good side, what little there is of it. He's extremely protective and can be nice when needed.

Flarewind had always been a loyal warrior to the Clan. Not many cats were surprised when he became the temporary deputy when Jasminestar left on her religious journey and Clearpool took over. That was after the battle with the Tribe of Nightmares, and it was also around the time he met Musicdrift. They became good friends and stood by each other for many moons, even as tempers flared and clashed through. Then, the word of Jasminestar's death spread throughout the Clan. Clearpool was to become Clearstar and she named Flarewind as her permanent deputy.

Then came the other news. Musicdrift was pregnant. She wasn't going to tell him at first, solely confiding in another queen, Crocuspool. However, the tom found out about it and mused over it, wondering if he was ready to become a father. When Clearstar came back as a leader, he announced his tidings. A few weeks later, his children came into the world.

Tempestkit was the only boy of the team, surrounded by Burnkit, Havenkit, Symphonykit, and Ghostkit. So of course, he felt the need to assert his male authority, however that may be.
