prophecyteller His pelt brushed against the foliage as he slipped through the territory, heading towards the border with BrightClan. The tom felt horrible for the way he had treated Amberpool the few times he had seen her. And he wanted to make it right, to tell her he was sorry. All through his apprentice-ship, he kept his emotions bottled up, unwilling to open to anyone. That was when he met first Crowtalon, then Barracudajaw and Eternalhaunt. All three of them took him out of his shell, made him whole. Prophecyteller had one more thing to make up for. Cautiously, he he came to the border with Brightclan, paws still on Eclipseclan territory. He glanced around, then turned towards the tree, taking one bound up, and the tall brown and white tabby lept.
The Medicine cat apprentice sat above the border, resting his head down and watching with his white pupils. A scent hit him, suddenly. BrightClan mixed with the familer scent of herbs. "Amberpool?"

Amberpool The golden female padded along quietly, her eyes to the ground. Something had changed in Amberpool recently, she wasn't nearly as bubbly and happy as she normally was. Something was missing, she knew it was. But she was happy as could be, doing the thing she loved everyday and she had grown very close to Cloudedsky over the moons. She had formed such a close relationship with her mentor that she was sure she would be able to tell her anything. But not this. Not this thing that was bothering her, jumbling up everything she understood. This was different.
She was jarred from her thoughts by a soft voice up ahead. She jumped as she saw who it was, her stature immediately growing more wary as she saw and scented the EclipseClan medicine cat apprentice. "Prophecyteller" she said slowly, padding over to him, her amber eyes searching the tom's own pupiless ones. "Why are you here?" she asked him quietly, not accusingly but curiously. [/sub]

prophecyteller The three-legged tom dropped down from the branch he was laying across, towering over the she-cat. A kind look came into his gentle eyes. He sat down where he stood, flicking his tail to wrap around the three limbs. "I wanted to apologize, for what i've said to you since we've met." Prophecyteller mewed gently, his claws unsheathing and digging into the ground, afraid for her reaction. Would she turn away without a word, or maybe something rude, like hissing in his face? He didn't know he too well...thought he wished that he could know her better. damn. stupid clan boundries....
His thoughts trailed off as he looked at the she-cat in front of him, tail tip twitching. "I've always felt horrible for saying those words to you...I've been thinking of ways to make it up for you. I was hoping we could start over again. Y'know, like the few times we saw each other never happened?" He asked, taking a deep breath afterwards.

Amberpool She nodded as Prophecyteller spoke, her honey coloured head bobbing slowly. As he finished she felt her eyes well with tears, angrily brushing them away. "Sorry. I seem to be crying a lot these days" she said to him quietly, smiling weakly as she finished. Her amber eyes travelled over his stature, how tense he was as he waited for a reaction. This was obviously important to him. She took a deep breath in and finally nodded. "I would love to start over Prophecyteller. I don't know how we ended up so tense in the first place and I've never been one to hold a grudge" she said, stepping closer so her paws touched the border seperating them. Clan boundaries. How trivial they seemed, when there was always more important things to be dealing with. But all the Clans living together would never work, she knew that. So they must be accepted. [/sub]

prophecyteller The tom let out a breath he thought he had been holding for moons. It felt good to finally get it off his chest. To not feel like he had messed up a friendship. A smile spread across Prophecyteller's face as he looked down at the she-cat. It wasn't that he was a bulky cat, merely, then he was just taller then most. During the moons he was held prisoner, he had gone through a growth spurt. Some in his Clan wondered who he was before noticing the odd eyes, and the way he trotted right towards the leader.
His tail flicked back and forth as he watched Amberpool, letting out another breath before he sat down, reaching over the border line to touch his nose to hers. "I'm glad we can start over, Amberpool. I really am" He mewed, grinning. "Hm.....You and Cloudedsky wouldn't happen to have any spare catmint, would you?" He asked, a crooked smile spreading across his narrow features. "I still owe Littlefox some from before I......" He stopped himself, looking away. "I still owe her from awhile ago" Prophecyteller's voice had grown quiet now, his tail still from twitching back and forth.

Amberpool Amberpool smiled back as Prophecyteller spoke but it was quickly wiped off of her face at his next words. What, so he had just made up with her to get catmint? Her eyes filled with tears, before she saw Prophecytellers face and knew that he wasn't like that at all. She had judged him too quickly and it seemed that not all was well for him either. "We should have some, I have a little clump over there. But first, will you tell me whats wrong?" she said to him, registering his expression and the way he had spoken. She didn't want him to be upset and things always were better if you talked them over. [/sub]

prophecyteller The tom sighed, slumping his thin shoulders as he asked. He always dreaded the subject of his absence. It wasn't something worth remembering in his mind. But since he was starting with the whole honesty thing, he caved. The EclipseClanner cleared his throat before looking up at Amberpool. "I was taken from my Clan, along with several other cats, by rogues. The same rogues that had taken your Clan's Eastfrost." Prophecyteller mewed, rolling his shoulders. "It's hard to think about, having been prisoner for more then a moon. And yet, it feels like StarClan wanted to me to with them.." The tom let out a sigh, then looking down at his front paw. His tail tip twitched back and forth before he looked up again. "I was only joking about the catmint. I already brought her back some" He mewed, chuckling before he reared up and flicked the she-cat over the ear.

Amberpool The slender she-cat nodded quietly as the tom spoke. It really put her own problems into perspective, she was really upset over nothing. She didn't even truly know what was wrong with her, she just couldn't seem to get happy recently. Shaking herself she looked back to Prophecyteller. "I'm sorry about your time with the rogues. It must have been hard" she said quietly, eyes searching his. A flicker of a smile crossed her face as he mentioned the cat mint. She looked over her shoulder, frame now despondent. "Cloudedsky is going to be wondering where I am. I want to stay longer but..." she trailed off with a sigh, looking at Prophecyteller. She wondered if he would have to go and anyway, by the look of the sky she guessed that snow was coming. "We don't want to get stuck in the snow" she said, her tail now flicking worridly. [/sub]
