when you look at Laughingthrush, what do you think? Oh, what a gorgeous cat, right? With his salty blue eyes, his pale dappled coat, and his thin frame. The perfect cat.[/size]
Mistaken as a female most of the time, Laughingthrush has a feminine appearance. Most would actually truly believe that he was a she-cat if not for the lean muscles that rippled under his spotted fur. Pure-bred and once a kittypet, he has lived in the forest long enough to grow accustomed to it. He now knows the woods like tha back of his paw. Speaking of his paws, they are small and petite, but not a nuisance in any sort of way [unless he's trying to catch fish of course]. His tail is just long enough to wrap around himself to keep him warm and comfortable at night in his nest. His frame is slender and his fur is sleek. Laughingthrush's fur is constantly clean unless he's been out on a patrol while it was raining. His neck and face are narrow but covered in little cuts. The traditional tabby 'M' is found on his forehead and caresses his neck and shoulders and straight down his back. It rings around his slim tail.
And many cats ask him, "Did it hurt when you fell from StarClan?"

Laughingthrush's personality is a blend of traits from the human [twoleg] month March and it's two astrological signs. Pisces and Aries. Starting with "Pisces", the cat seems nearly flawless. All the traits seeming positive. It's the 'Aries traits' that really balance him out. He really seems like the type to be born in the spring. From the top.[/size]
He's gentle and good natured, quite the easy going type. Nothing really seems to bother him. He'll brush it off or just plain out ignore it, maybe even laugh at any offensive remark. Not much really gets through to him. These add to his likeable and kind side. When he allows anything to slide, many quickly warm up to him, seeing he really isn't a bad guy. Compassionate and sympathetic, he's able to understand and feel for you. He has the softest look and words that can get you smiling in seconds. He may not be able to heal wounds, but he can be quite a good pain killer. He happens to be gullible and sensitive. Naive, even. You could tell him that gullible was written on his forehead [as if they knew how that was spelled] and he'd fall for it, running to the nearest puddle to look. The funniest thing is, he never learns. Laughingthrush is known to laugh [hint the name] it off, but don't think he doesn't feel upset deep down within where embarrassment burns.
Many things come naturally with him. He can hunt, breeze on past, and fight like a demon. Sounds too perfect, doesn't he? Laughingthrush is defined by many as imaginative and creative. He likes to spend a lot of his time dreaming and coming up with small ideas in his head. He's completely selfless, ready to give his all for someone else. Eager to lend a hand and give up everything he has for another.
Want to see the other side? Well, he has plenty of self confidence and isn't afraid to show it. He'll boast every now and then - okay, maybe a lot. He's a born leader and likes taking control, sometimes eagerly leaping to take the largest part. He has a way of accidentally slipping his honest opinion. He's not the best liar, and if he thinks your not as good as him or someone else at hunting, that thought might come tumbling out. Thing is, he's not afraid to speak his mind in the least bit, no. He may be all kind words and kind loving care, but if something is on his mind, you'll hear it. He can be stubborn and forceful.
When in charge he'll probably leap into his way of doing things and he'll try to drag you along with him. He can also be quite impatient. He likes things to happen immediately and the moment a decision is made, he wants to hear it and have it put into action. He's not one to sit and wait, building anticipation. No. Doesn't work. However, most of all, he's eager and enthusiastic. It's hard not to get worked up with him over something. He's always determined and ready to do what he wants. If he gets excited he gets really worked up and won't stop until he's achieved what he wants or has faced large disappointment. If he likes something, he's sure to show it, if he doesn't he'll still probably speak his mind. You know... those words that slip out and don't bother him in the least bit. They might, you know, waltz on through your ears.
Does he sound so perfect now?

His mother was bred with his father and after their affair they never saw each other again. Orchid gave birth around four-five months later to four kittens; one boy and three girls. She named her children Leon [Laughingthrush, who looked most like his father], Cinnamon, Butterfly, and Hawthorne. Plain, unexciting names, yes, but at the time, they were all she could think of. Then her kits slowly started disappearing. The two-legs selling them to other two-legs. First it was Cinnamon to go, then Butterfly, then after awhile Leon and Hawthorne were bought together. Their new owners called them 'Milo' and 'Dahlia' but they stilled called each other by their birth names.[/color]
In their new home they discovered that feral cats lived out in the forest that was found at the city border. Leon had always wanted to join them. To get away from this 'life of luxury'. He couldn't stand it! Hawthorne was the more hesitant one but had also wanted out. Then, one day when their two-legs were at a movie, they ran. They ran as fast as they possibly could, trying to avoid the stray cats and dogs until they made it to the forest.
Leon and his sister became seperated when Leon had wandered ahead of his sister, examining his new surroundings when he was attacked by a cat. Hawthrone panicked and ran the other way further into the forest, oblivious to Leon's shocked scream.
'What are you doing on MoonClan territory?!' spat the tom. Leon struggled and moved, 'What's MoonClan? Who are you? Leave me alone!' he yowled, shutting his eyes tight. The tom took in a whiff of Leon's scent and snarled. He got off of the smaller tom and said, 'Kittypet, what do you want?' he seemed calmer now. Leon looked at the other tom and sat up, 'M-My name's Leon, s-sir. What's a kittypet? And I-I wanted to j-j-join the wild cats," he stammered. The wild, bigger tomcat stuck his nose into the air and turned, 'Then follow me, we'll have Firestar decide.' He marched off into the trees. Leon hesitated then followed, scared for his lost sister.
From then on Laughingthrush has been a part of MoonClan. He grew up and trained to be a warrior there, easing through the steps. Then one day, after he became a warrior, he was sent on a patrol to the edge of the rogue territory. It had been only him and his best friend, Granitepelt [the warrior that attacked him], that were sent. They were supposed to keep an eye out for Chaosfire but instead they found a tom that was being abused by a male. Laughingthrush went to the rescue while Granitepelt ran back for help - just in case. Laughingthrush saved the apprentice - who smelled of SerenitClan, shooing off the abusive rogue tom. He took him back to the forest and left him on the SerenityClan border, saying farewell to the apprentice.
"Until we meet again, Fieldpaw," Laughingthrush said with a wink and a flash of a crooked smile; before running off toward MoonClan's territory.
[You know the little cuts on his face that I told you about? Yeah, he received those from the fight with the abusive rogue tom.][/blockquote][/size]
