As all cats are, Chaffinchkit is comprised of several different elements. Let's start with her face. When you look at her face from the front, it's almost as if you are looking at a blunt diamond. A small round muzzle barely juts out from the middle. Her mouth is small, and curls up, in an almost permanant smile. Her small triangular pink nose sits on the top of her muzzle. Up the slope of her nose, and on the two sides are thin, almond-shaped eyes. They are a beautiful dark amber color, with glittering gold tones. On the top of her head sits two triangular ears, spaced evenly apart.

Go down her stout neck, and you've reached her body. Chaffinchkit isn't as light as she sounds. She has a large frame that carries her various carnage well. Her back is broad, and her shoulders are strong. Four limbs carry her, and at the end of each leg is a large white paw that keeps her steady. A long ringed tail finishes her off.

Oh, and don't forget Chaffinchkit's fur. Her pelt is a variety of fading orange shades, almost a sand color, as seen on many tabbies like herself, with white inconsistent stripes marking her back, flank, and legs. Her tail has rings of white and orange, with a large creamy tip. Finally, her face is pale and creamy sand color, with the usual white tabby markings patterning her face. Her muzzle is white as well.

Chaffinchkit is one of those cats that everyone likes. She's sweetheart to everyone, and has no enemies. Have you ever met a person who is friends with everyone, and gives out lots of hugs, and is super nice? That is Chaffinchkit to a T.

There is no other way to say it without avoiding the subject. Chaffinchkit is really nice. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She's always smiling, whether or not she's in a good or bad situation. She's a big softie, and loves a lot. There is no one that doesn't dislike her cheery attitude, except for maybe her brother Koikit. She is friends with everyone, young and old, kits and warriors alike.

Chaffinchkit is a lover, not a fighter. But she'll stand up for what she believes is right.

It was by chance that Duskheart (then Night Tree) fell across some bad luck as a youngin', when his sister and father fell ill at once. Night Tree managed to get his two family to stumble to Serenityclan so they could receive help. Jasminestar took them in, and the three stayed in the medicine cat's den. Night Tree was the same age as Petalrain was, then Petalkit. She had longed for a new friend outside of her siblings. They took to each other, and became fast friends. They stayed close, even when tragedy struck both of them in the form of deaths in their families.

Night Tree longed to become a warrior, just like Petalpaw was training to be. After she was made a warrior, Jasminestar let him train for a couple of moons, and soon he was a real part of Serenityclan. He was given a warrior name, Duskheart. They had started to become closer, and closer by then. It wasn't until moons later after becoming mates did Petalrain find out about being pregnant.

Petalrain gave birth to four kits: Galaxykit, the leader; Chaffinchkit, the popular one; Koikit, the sneak; and Juniperkit, the runt.
