the generation goes on from the half rogue half clan-cats, the sister of my kitteh Rogueclaw ish having kits! Rippedear and Phantomthief are in love! It will continue the blood line of my favorite cat that was born as a rogue with half blood of a far away clan, so please a adopt with an audition and we'll see what happens!

Tumbling and squeaking around were two kits. The first was a small amber tom with cyan eyes. The second was a silver she-cat, and she slashed the air with her small claws. They rolled around the nursery, hitting and batting at each other. "Sheath your claws, Hoaxkit!" their mother called in vain as she watched them roll around. There was a slightly worried expression on her face as Hoaxkit and Wisteriakit playfought in the clearing. With a squeal, Wisteriakit flung Hoaxkit onto her back and held her there. Rippedear watched silently.

"Are they playfighting again?" Galekit asked, a bored drawl in her voice. She was trying to seem like she was above that playfighting, but the truth was that she wished she could join in. Galekit was jealous, and it irked her. Wisteriakit always spent all of his time playing with Hoaxkit, but he was supposed to be her twin. Not Hoaxkit's twin, Galekit's twin! Murmuring discontentedly, the she-cat sat down and cast her sky blue glance on her mother while waiting for an answer. Rippedear looked down at her daughter and flicked an ear. "Yes, they are. I hope they don't hurt each other."

Galekit nodded, pretending to be knowledgeable. She snuggled in to Rippedear's side. It didn't matter if Wisteriakit liked Hoaxkit better, because Rippedear like her, Galekit, the best. That was the most important thing. Galekit watched her siblings through narrowed eyes, sighing as Hoaxkit flipped them over and sent them rolling through the clearing. Wisteriakit shuddered and kicked at her with his tiny back paws. Hoaxkit was flung off, and the battle started all over again. Not able to watch any longer, Galekit turned her gaze from her siblings towards a small silver and black figure that was emerging from the nursery. "Umberkit!" she squealed happily, bouncing over to him.

"Hey Galekit..." murmured Umberkit, licking her muzzle roughly. He turned until his eyes met up with Rippedear's, and the soft-spoken tom began to pad over to their mother. Galekit watched with wide eyes. Was Umberkit really going to leave her there just to go talk to Rippedear? Did Umberkit want to become Rippedear's favourite? She, Galekit, was the princess of the family. Umberkit wouldn't take her place! "Umberkit! Get back here. Go get me a mouse from the fresh-kill pile. I'm hungry. Are you listening to me? Umberkit!" she screeched, huffing as she padded over to the tom. Umberkit turned to watch her as Galekit took in a deep breath and prepared to boss him around once more.

"Galekit, are you bullying Umberkit again?" a crooning voice asked. Galekit whipped around only to take a step backwards, recoiling from Phantomthief's pupiless eyes. Galekit took another step backwards and fell down onto her rump. "No, daddy, no I wasn't!" she mewed, blinking at him and trying to seem innocent.

He slipped through the nursery's entrance, pressing against the wall of the den as he padded over to his mother. The tom kitten curled up next to his mother, his royal blue eyes gentle and quiet. "Mama, it's cold out," he mumbled. "Yes, dear," Rippedear murmured in a far-off voice, she was busy bathing Galekit. Umberkit sighed, of course something was more important than him. "Mama..." he whined, pressing his little paws against her side. She didn't answer him. He grunted and left her side, exiting the milk-scented nursery. He sat outside, his shoulders hunched and his tail wrapped around himself. His form shook slightly as he shivered in the sharp, chilly wind. He blinked and looked up at a noise.

"Umberkit, you wanna play? Wisteriakit approached him and Umberkit lifted his head. He blinked, "Play what?" he asked. "Um... How about Clan Leaders?" she asked, cocking her head to the side. Oh no. Not /that/ game again,

[/color] Umberkit thought. "Oh no, it's too cold, Wisteriakit, I'm gonna go inside,' he said nicely and quietly. He stood, gave his sister a lick on the cheek, and hurried himself into the nursery, leaving Wisteriakit confused.

He sat down against the wall, looking at his paws. Still unnoticed. The soft-spoken tom looked up as his father - Phantomthief - padded into the nursery. He stood up and walked over to Phantomthief. "Hi Pa!" Umberkit meowed. Phantomthief looked down and smiled, his blank eyes almost ghost-like. "Hello, Umberkit," he said, licking the top of his son's head. A warmth trickled down Umberkit's bones as he received attention from one of his parental figures. He trailed after his dad as Phantomthief made his way toward Rippedear who had finished grooming Galekit. Umberkit looked around for Galekit to make sure she wasn't around to ruin his chance. She wasn't there nor was any of his other sisters.

Phantomthief settled down next to Rippedear and Umberkit curled into his mother's side. Rippedear pulled Umberkit toward her head so she could give Umberkit a bath. He smiled, "Mama." "Yes, honey?" his mother purred.

"I love you," he mewed.
