A small kit slunk from the nursery, his optics drifting to the evening sun for only a moment before dismissing it completely. He didn't take much interest in the beauty of nature. They lived in it, they ate from it, they took from it, they lost to it. Big deal.

He wasn't too upset that his mother was gone. To him, it just meant more time to goof off and get away with things that he shouldn't. Heck, even Blizzardhawk was absent, along with all of the Clan's authority. There was no one to boss him around or catch him acting up. He really would be enjoying himself right now, but there was no one to share the thrill of insanity with.

Larchkit sighed, staring longingly at the apprentices' den. How he just couldn't wait to get out there in the forest, free to do whatever he liked. Being a kit was really quite a drag. His hazel eyes flittered back tot he nursery.

Couldn't someone just get off their lazy rump and play?

The silver tabby kitten stumbled out of the nursery, stopping abruptly at the entrance. She looked around and noticed one of her denmates, Larchkit. Cherrysmoke and Blizzardhawk's son. Hey, Larchkit! Larchki-it!! she called even though he just a rabbit's hop or two away.

She rocketed over to him, stalling to a stop just a mouse-lengths' in front of him. HII LARCHKIT! she yelled excitedly, her teal eyes dancing rapidly.

Sealkit sat down, barely able to keep the bounce from her every movement. What's up!?

Larchkit was really overjoyed when another kit came bouncing out of the nursery. He grinned. His boredom was no more! He swayed a bit, flicking his tail with excitement. "Hi Sealkit!" he mewed, though not as loudly. A purr erupted from his throat as she yelled a greeting in his face, his ears flattening at the ferocity of the sound. "Nothin'. I'm bored to death," the tom said, shrugging. "Wanna do something?"

[/b] she danced from paw to paw, doing some serious thinking. "How about we play Leaders?" she asked, cocking her head to the side.

"I am Sealstar, leader of SerenityClan! And you can be Larchstar of the evil MoonClan!" she bellowed playfully. "What are you doing on SerenityClan territory, Sir Larchstar?" She stood up straight and puffed out her chest as she faux-glared at 'Larchstar'.[/blockquote][/size][/sub]

Larchkit's ears perked, swivelling rapidly as the she-kit suggested a game. "Yeah!" He bounced and swayed a bit before opening his maw to speak, only to be interrupted by the other. He put out his bottom lip for a moment in an irritated pout, upset that he wasn't the SerenityClan leader and instead took charge of the 'evil' MoonClan. His loyalty was to blame. However, he quickly shook it away, figuring that beggers can't be choosers.

He bared his teeth at Seal'star', positioning himself in a sloppy and lopsided fighting stance. "I've brought my warriors to attack your puny Clan!" he yowled, failing in erasing his grin. "Your territory is mine!" Larch'star' let out a maniacal chortle. "Uhm...Autumnleaf...Adderfang...and uhh...Deerpounce, attack!" The tomkit had stumbled over his warriors' names, basing them off of his siblings. Giggling, he mockingly bared his teeth before lunging for her with his claws sheathed.[/blockquote]

Seal'star' squealed with joy but quickly muted it. She was the brave leader of SerenityClan not some happy little fluffball that wandered the nursery day and night with nothing to do [even though in truth she was]. She leaped at him as he leaped at her and they pummeled into each other. She fell to the ground, landing on her side with a thump. She rolled out of the way before he slammed into her.

Seal'star' bounced on to her paws, wagging her but in the air. She wanted to play some more. "You'll never win!" she yowled leaping at Larch'star'.
