Hailthunder My heart's a graveyard baby...A small bundle of white fur entered the camp, rather awkwardly carrying a bird and a mouse in it's small mouth. The snow-coloured cat flung the prey onto the fresh kill pile as he passed it, then strutted over to the nearest group of she-cats. He held his head high, grinning in what he thought was a flirty way. "Hey ladies, the Love Cat has returned from his hunt. You should have seen me catch that bird, it was epic."
The small tom sat down casually, flicking his tail flirtily. Then he began to groom himself, occasionally looking up to grin and twitch his sail-like ears at the she-cats. (OOC: Open for anyone )

Gannetkit
Words match my deeds with brutal honesty Never forget these choices were made by me
[/blockquote] "And who do you possibly think will answer a call like that?"
The prince's haughty voice ran out like a thrown javelin. Gannetkit's paws could be heard padding out of the nursery towards the fresh-kill pile and the older warrior. The beautiful tom stood square in front of him, frowning slightly. His tail flicked side to side.
"If you expect to get she-cats, you can't just expect them to come flocking at your beck and call. You're obviously not me," Gannetkit said with a spoilt sniff from his white-muzzled nose. The prince rolled his eyes. "Do you want me to give you pointers on how it is done because it is quite obvious that you don't have a female yet?" He just needed a lady to swoon over him. How about Rhymekit? Where was she anyway?

Hailthunder My heart's a graveyard baby...Hailthunder's huge ears flicked as Gannetkit spoke. He turned to face the kit. "My dear Gannetkit, I think you will find that I know what I'm doing." The small warrior forced himself not to laugh at the kit's confidence that he could do better, knowing he would only upset him. That was the last thing he wanted!
Hailthunder smiled down at Gannetkit. "As for me not having a mate yet....maybe I'm just a little bit picky, you know? He licked a white paw and drew it past one of his ears, then spoke again. "I know! Why don't you show me how amazing you are. If you can prove to me that she-cats flock to you, I will accept that you are far superior to moi." Hailthunder grinned at Gannetkit. "How does that sound?"

rhymekit The little pitter patter of small paws on grass announced the arrival of Rhymekit. The grey tabby and white kitten padded from around the back of the nursery, her nose to the ground. A long green caterpillar scuttled about a mouse length ahead of her. The kitten stopped, wriggling her hindquarters, then pounced. Her forepaws brushed the insect, but she did not manage to pin it. "Come back Mr 'Pillar!" she chorused, lifting her head, her lime coloured eyes wide. "I only wanna play with you!" The kit pranced forward, her ears perked high. She giggled as the caterpillar stopped for a moment, and tipped the creature over onto it's back. The caterpillar's many legs wiggled desperately. Rhymekit lifted her head again, like a meerkat, her ears swivelling. She heard the loud, assured tones of Gannetkit and another voice. The kit made sure to carefully place the caterpillar back on it's paws, before padding towards the scene, calling over her shoulder; "G'bye, Mr 'Pillar!"
The kit skipped in between Gannetkit and the other cat, who she now recognized as Hailthunder. "Hi-ii!" she mewed in a sing song, upbeat voice. The small kit stepped from paw to paw a few times, grinning, her tail held high.

Gannetkit
Words match my deeds with brutal honesty Never forget these choices were made by me
[/blockquote] "From the way I am seeing it, you do not know a thing about what you are doing," Gannetkit said simply. The handsome tom blinked at the challenge. "If it is a duel you want, it is a duel you shall get!" The tom leapt onto his toes with a devilish grin.
He turned to Rhymekit and sidled alongside her with a seductive smile, avoiding a nearby mud puddle. "Rhymekit, what is your opinion of me...?" he asked softly, trying to get a deep voice like his father and failing.

rhymekit Rhymekit blinked excitedly at the other kit's words, her short tail springing high. "Wow, a duel!" she squealed. "Can I join in? I bet I could beat both of you at once!" But it seemed that the duel that been forgetten, because Gannetkit was walking away from Hailthunder now. Rhymekit's tail drooped. The grey tabby and white kitten began to trot along, prodding at puddles with her paws, but getting no real fun from it. She couldn't wait until she was an apprentice, and she could leave the camp. She turned to look at Gannetkit as she heard his soft pawsteps at her flank. The she-cat beamed. Maybe Gannetkit would forget his puffiness and play with her! Her face fell at his words, her olive eyes turning from disappointment to confusion. "Well," she mewed. She had to be careful here. Gannetkit was one touchy furball. "You're quite nice, but you can be mean sometimes, too."
The kit then skipped obliviously away, not aware that the two toms were having a competition of wooing. She didn't even understand the concept of love properly yet. Rhymekit patted at a beetle as it crawled over a small plant, her face betraying her boredom.

Hailthunder My heart's a graveyard baby...Hailthunder observed as Gannetkit approached Rhymekit. He smiled slightly at the she-cat's reply, and trotted over to Gannetkit. "C'mon Ganners, I'm sure you can do better than that!" He gently nudged the kit with his paw playfully, then hurried into the middle of the camp.
"Hey, ladies..." The tom began in his most seductive tone, talking to any she-cat that would listen. "Did you know once I was walking through the forest, midning my own business, when along came a fox." The tom paused, licking a paw and smoothing back the fur on his head. "I'd smelt the wicked thing a while back, but it was a clever thing. Somehow managed to sneak up on me." He blinked his yellow eyes slowly, then flicked a sail-like ear. "And do you know what I did when it came at me? Do you?" He turned to any passing she-cat, trying to get an answer.

[/blockquote] Gannetkit's jaw dropped at being dismissed like some common knave. He puffed out his chest imperiously and turned his head, humphing at Hailthunder. The tomkit hastily ran to the nearest she-cat, Fadedmemory and stood on his hindpaws, touching her shoulder with his gentle paws. "Do not listen to his lies, fair lady. Let it be known that your heart rests with mine." He touched his chest dramatically, clutching it as if he was wounded. "I could not bear to see you with that imposter for only I, Gannetkit, may earn the right to a beauty such as you." He bowed but tripped at the balance issue and landed inelegantly.

ribbontail The slender shape of Ribbiontail trotted back through the camp entrance. A pigeon dangled from between her teeth. As she padded past the fresh kill pile, the she-cat placed her catch with the others. She spotted Gannetkit and Rhymekit playing, and smiled. The she-cat stretched out her hind legs, her dark sapphire eyes narrowing. She thought about maybe going to visit Tansypaw, Frostpaw, Dapplepaw and Snowpaw. She just wanted to make sure they were alright... Ribbontail shook the thought away. They wouldn't appreciate her turning up at the apprentices' den, she suspected, especially Dapplepaw. Ribbontail instead took a mouse from the fresh kill pile, and trotted to the warriors' den. As she passed Hailthunder she heard his words, and flicked his shoulder with her silvery tail tip. She smiled at him in amusement. She had known the tom since his kithood. The beautiful she-cat padded to the warriors' den, her black-spangled tail held high.
Ribbontail lay down outside it, tucking the mouse between her forepaws and starting to eat it. Maybe she would go on patrol with Cloakedclaw later. She felt like she hadn't spent that much time with him recently, she thought, as she chewed on the mouse.
