ribbontail The sun flashed down upon the slender, silver dappled body of Ribbontail, as the slim warrioress padded through the tall, dry reeds. The she-cat's angular face was raised, her sapphire eyes bright. This was the first time she had been on patrol since leaving the nursery. It felt good. She felt as though, for all the time she had nursed Tansypaw, Dapplepaw, Frostpaw and Snowpaw, she had had rocks tied to her, weighing her down. But sadness tinged her joy a little. She hoped her kits would be okay, especially Tansypaw and Snowpaw. Tansypaw's blindness had always made her vulnerable, and Snowpaw was not truly her kit, making her open for bullying. She bit her lip nervously. Ribbontail tensed as she smelt something that should have been there. Rogue scent. She heard a voice. Ribbontail crouched, creeping forwards through the reeds.
Having spent most of her life hunting in reeds, she had mastered the art of moving silently through them - something this stranger obviously had not. She could see the rogue now. Her lip curled to reveal her sharp white teeth, and she pounced, bundling the rogue cat several feet. Ribbontail sprang away, her beautiful silver coat bristling. Adrenalin pumped through her body. She felt truly alive for the first time in moons.
"What are you doing here, stranger?"

running from the past. heading towards the future She whispered, stuttering at the end before edging towards the cobwebs again. She needed to get more on before the blood flowed from her leg. She felt light headed already, and the blood was leaving a puddle where her leg was. [/ul]

ribbontail The beautiful silver bengal surveyed the rogue skeptically, her dark sapphire eyes narrowed. The warrioress swung her tail from side to side, her paws still splayed out slightly, as though she was ready to spring if there was any trouble. Ribbontail noticed that the rogue she-cat had an injured leg, as she crawled towards the herbs. Blood was staining the undergrowth. The silvery warrior relaxed her stance. She wouldn't attack an injured cat. This cat had obviously just strayed onto their territory, looking for herbs. The warrioress looked at the rogue's wound. It didn't look good. It certainly wasn't healing. "With that wound you're going to attract every badger and fox in the forest to our camp," she mewed, her lip curling slightly. But she knew she couldn't just leave this pathetic cat here to die. She needed a medicine cat. Ribbontail padded to the rogue and nudged her, none too gently, to her paws.
"I'm taking you back to our camp," she mewed. "Our medicine cat can patch you up, then you can be on your way." Ribbontail nudged the she-cat in the right direction, letting her lean on her shoulder. "What is your name, stranger?" She still did not trust this rogue, but she knew that to leave her alone would just be cruelty. And Ribbontail was not cruel.

running from the past. heading towards the futureAvala mewed softly as she struggled to her paws again. She turned her eyes back towards the cobwebs as she spoke about the medicine cat treating her. These groups of cats had Healers like HellClan did? She rose to her paws slowly, taking the pressure off the injured leg. "Um...alright. I'm...not sure what I would be called here, but I was called Avala before." She mewed, shocked at how many words were in the sentence. "Where are you going to take me to see this....medicine cat?" She asked quietly [/ul]

ribbontail Ribbontail had never liked rogue's. Not since her father, Silver, had left her and her mother, Sunjinx. But thinking about Sunjinx was painful. She remembered crouching over the ginger and white body of her mother after the battle. She shut her paws tight to erase the pain from her mind. "Avala it is," she mewed grimly. Ribbontail helped Avala over a particularly wide stream, her slim paws picking up the water as she stepped in it. She didn't mind. She was used to water, even liked it, like every CloudClan cat. The she-cat turned to Avala as the rogue spoke again. She pressed up against the smaller she-cat, helping her walk whilst pushing her along at a faster pace. "I'm taking you back to our camp," she mewed impatiently. Wasn't that obvious? "There, our medicine cat, Dragonflydance, will treat that wound. I assure you, she'll do a good job on it."
Better than you have, anyway. Ribbontail did not voice her thoughts, just continued on her way, side-stepping a large, flat rock, her delicate silver paws skilled over the damp CloudClan ground.

running from the past. heading towards the future She murmured, more to herself as she scented the air. They were near a Clan. The scents of many cats came to her nose. As she allowed her back leg to touch the ground and drift through the water. She glanced at Ribbontail before looking ahead again. [/ul]
