The sights, the sounds They're everywhere and all around I've never felt this good before This empty place inside of me is filling up I simply cannot get enough I want it, oh, I want it Oh, I want it for my own I've got to know I've got to know What is this place that I have found? What is this? It had been a while since Eaglecry took a step outside of MoonClan territory. Ever since the Gathering, he had been meaning to find out what Tawnysky had been up to, but he just hadn't had the time to do that. Ears flicked, as the spotted tom slunk through the reeds, paws moving ever so slowly, making sure noone was around. Would she be here? Tail swayed behind his body, as the arge tom appeared at the same place where the two had first met. Smiling to himself, he sat down, paws kneading the ground nervously. If someone was to come across him, he would say he was daydreaming, and somehow traveled upon CloudClan turf. Blue eyes looked around, and he twitched his whiskers. Where was she? tawnysky Her head was raised. She was tasting the air. The creamy brown and white patched body of Tawnysky was visible through the tall trees. The sun overhead was hot, but it was muggy and stifling. A storm was on the way. Tawnysky was supposed to be hunting, but had caught nothing. Her thoughts were too distracted. She had missed a mouse that had practically jumped underneath her forepaws, and a rabbit that was so old it could barely move. I'm hunting like a kittypet! But she just couldn't concentrate on her task. Her thoughts were too distracted. On Eaglecry, and Dewstep, the kits... Tawnysky sighed. She felt jealousy burn inside her as she pictured her sister's litter. But she soothed it away by thinking of Eaglecry's face. Dear Eaglecry. She smiled as she thought of him. Suddenly, MoonClan scent filled her nostrils. She froze. Though the scent of MoonClan had become more familiar to her recently, she was still wary. A flash of light brown fur. She leapt...
And landed joyously at Eaglecry's side, nuzzling his shoulders and nudging him. "Eaglecry!" she purred happily. "I'm so glad you're here! I missed you so much!" She had forgotten that he was of MoonClan, and she of CloudClan. She had forgotten that, at any moment, one of her clan might stumble across. She didn't care. All that mattered was her beloved mate.

Stalking along, a faint movement caught the tom's attention. Had he been detected already? Ears flicked back, as a small mouse darted past. Smirking to himself, he shook out his coat, and stood there, glancing around. All too familiar to him, he thought, his tail swaying behind him. Suddenly, it was if he was attacked, and he glanced over to see Tawnysky. A huge smile erupted, and he nosed her cheek lovingly. "Its about time you come and find me. I've been wondering what you have been up to," he flicked his ears, trying to see if anyone had followed his mate from camp. Hearing and smelling no one else, he plonked himself down onto his rear, smiling widely.
"So tell me, love, what have you been up to all this time? I thought you were going to be at the Gathering..." an ear tilted forward, and tail wrapped neatly around his forepaws as he was starting to settle in.[/blockquote] [ x ] E A G L E C R Y

tawnysky Tawnysky purred happily, her eyes shut and her eyes flat with happiness. She hadn't realised how much she missed her mate until she had seen him. The brown and white she-cat licked his cheek happily, smiling at his comment. She had been thinking about going to find her mate, but fears had kept her back. The she-cat padded to Eaglecry and sat beside him, their pelts pressed close. Everything else had vanished. Just him. Just them, together. No Dewstep, no Oleandergaze, no Cormorantfeather, no kits, no Lemonzest. Nothing else mattered. Tawnysky rested her head on the tom's muscular shoulder, feeling safe in his shadow, her fur brushing his. "Stormstar didn't chose me," she murmured. "Maybe because of the... What happened." She still didn't like to talk about her fight with the Tribe cat.
Tawnysky curled her tail around to lay over his. "Nothing," she mewed. "CloudClan life is so drab without you." She smiled, and looked up at the sunset, her head still on her shoulder. It was a perfect moment, their tails entwined, their hearts entwined, forever. That was how it would be.

Frowning slightly, Eaglecry sighed. "I was quite bored, just sitting there by myself at the Gathering. A lot of things have happened to the other Clans. Like Jasminestar leaving SerenityClan on a journey for StarClan." Ears twitched, and he yawned, blue eyes going to look up at the sky. He smiled, finally, really glad he had risked his fur to come see her. He had been missing her like crazy, and wanted to make sure seh was alright. "Maybe sometime you can come looking for me on MoonClan territory. Just have to watch it, though. I almost got caught the very first time I went home and had to disguise your scent." He chuckled, remembering the time on the hill. She was all he could ever think about... maybe it was better that he didn't have an apprentice now. It surely would take time away from seeing Tawnysky. Tail tip twitched slightly, as a gently purr rumbled his body. Boy, did he miss her.[/blockquote] E a g l e c r y

tawnysky Tawnysky nodded at her mate's words. She had heard all about the sudden departure of SerenityClan's leader. It hadn't interested her much. The death of the EclipseClan leader had roused her suspicions more, and the pregnancy of their deputy. If EclipseClan were allowed to so freely break the warrior code, why couldn't she? Seeing Eaglecry was all that kept her from falling apart at the seams. She just wouldn't be whole without him. Nobody could stop her seeing him. Not Soulrebel, not Dewstep, not Stormstar. Nobody. She didn't even care if StarClan was angry at her. You don't understand! she screamed silently at the now darkening skies. The heavens gave an ominous rumble, and Tawnysky shivered as a heavy, chill rain began to fall. Summer was ending, and autumn was creeping in.
Tawnysky smiled. "Okay, I'll try," she mewed, her pretty, olive green eyes wide. The brown and white she-cat huddled against her mate, soaked to the skin. The warmth of his body was all she could feel through her soaked fur and numb skin. She pressed her face into his neck, shivering slightly. She didn't care. She'd endure this, just to be with Eaglecry.

Great. Eaglecry didn't like the rain. Blue eyes looked up at the skies, and he cursed the heavens. "Shall we go somewhere where we can get out of the rain?" His tail tip flicked, and he frowned. He didn't want to have to hide from the rain within CloudClan territory, but he would probably have to. Ears tilted back, as he tried to prevent rain from running into them. "Darn weather," he muttered under his breath, obviously quite upset now. Pushing himself to his paws, he shook his coat out, however ... it did not do much good. His spotted coat just became even more soaked, as the rain fell down harder on the two cats.

// They're going to get caught out in the big storm. :] tawnysky The she-cat's coat was no longer brown and white. It was all brown, a muddy brown, bleached by the relentless rain. The she-cat opened her mouth to reply to Eaglecry's question, but her jaws only filled with rainwater. Tawnysky spat out the bitter mouthful, her olive-coloured eyes narrowed against the rain. Her shivering flank was pressed against Eaglecry, though by now he was so soaked that he lent her no warmth. The CloudClan warrioress raised her head, squinting at the skies. They had darkened from blue-grey to wolf grey, and now coal-black. As she stared, a fork of pale lightning sliced through the heavens, accompanied by the loud roar of thunder. In terror, Tawnysky flattened herself to the sodden grass. Mud clung to her underbelly. "Eaglecry, we've got to get under cover!" she yowled over the sky's din. StarClan was angry, and were showing their wrath by taking up the reigns of the elements. Or maybe it was the Tribe?
Tawnysky darted into a holly bush, the sharp leaves scratching her skin so that blood trickled down her sides. "Eaglecry, come on!" she urged, her green eyes wide and glazed with terror.

Ears flicked back, and Eaglecry sighed. "Fine, fine," the tom said, following after his mate into the holly bush. Settling down beside her, he pressed his flank up against her. Trying to get her to calm down. Rasping a tongue over her ear gently, he started to purr. A purr that rumbled his chest slightly. "You know, we might be getting wet under here as well. If that happens, I am going to go look for a log or something to sleep in." He tucked his forepaws underneath him, settling in as the rain poured down around them. Blue eyes closed, and he yawned, quite content sitting there. He could feel how cold the she-cat was, and it worried him. What if she got sick? All because of him? Ears flicked at the thought, and he sighed, blue eyes opening slightly to stare at the rain drops falling heavily to the ground. E a g l e c r y

tawnysky The brown and white she-cat pressed her drenched side against her mate's as he slipped under the cover beside her. Her heart was beating furiously with terror. Yes, she had seen storms like this before. In fact, she had seen worse before. But that was always in the shelter of the CloudClan camp. The warrioress buried her face in Eaglecry's wet fur, shutting her eyes tight. Thunderstorms were not something to joke about - cats died in storms like these. Tawnysky thought about Dewstep and her kits. She prayed that they were safe, despite her recent distance from her sister. The brown and white she-cat lifted her head from her mate's soaked coat, and looked at him, scared. "Oh, Eaglecry, it's too dangerous," she sobbed. "But we can't just stay here. But if we go, I..." The warrioress wanted to melt into the sodden grass.

Watching the rain pelt the Earth with fury, the blue eyed warrior shook his head slightly. "We are just going to get even wetter sitting underneath this bush," his ears flicked back, and tail swayed behind his body slowly. He wondered if MoonClan was getting pelted this storm. Blue eyes closed, and he sighed, settling down onto the ground. "Settle, Tawnysky. It will be over soon," the tom said, putting his nose onto his mate's shoulder. He yawned, and shuffled his forepaws slightly. What was he supposed to do to calm the she-cat down? Yes, all cats were 'scared' of water, but Tawnysky showed signs of being scared of storms. tawnysky Tawnysky shivered as a fork of lightning split the ebony sky, and a fresh burst of rain pelted her back. It was not the water that made her quail - no, she was used to water. She was a CloudClan cat, after all, and swam through the river every say just to reach the camp after a hunting trip or patrol. It was all the stories she had heard about thunderstorms. How they are StarClan's fury bursting free. She rememebered a tale her mother had told her before her death, of her brother, Alderpaw. He had been killed because he had stayed out in a thunderstorm. His soaked pelt had attracted the lightning and poof, he was dead. Tawnysky swallowed nervously. She was pretty sure that most of her mother's tale had been fictional, but it still scared her. Your a full grown warrior for StarClan's sake! She tried to force this one thought into her mind. Tawnysky felt Eaglecry touch her fur and pressed against him, exceedingly glad of his presence beside her.

eaglecry___. This was just getting intolerable. Ears flicked back, as Eaglecry stood up, his sides getting clawed at by the bush. A hiss escaped him, and he looked to Tawnysky. Come on. We have to go find better selter than this. He would wait for her, since he was a 'gentleman' like that. Better to wait for her than leave her in this weather. Ears clamped back against his head, as a clap of thunder sounded overhead. How he hated the sound of thunder. Sighing, he stood there, feeling some of the water streaming down her sides.[/blockquote]
