<sub>Large white paws thudded on the ground away from the fear filled den, his mission was to meet up with the mighty brother Vinepaw had told them about the EclipseClan warrioress. His pale tabby fur had grown more sleek then before and his weight had increased by a massive ton. The only thing that didn't change was the large fear of his father and the large size of his paws, he was always stumbling over them when he ran. The pale tabby male's green ochre eyes glowed with fear and determination to meet up with their older siblings that had been lucky enough to actually escape. The male's paws slapped the muddy ground where frost had grown then melted, it left his large paw-prints in the mud and big chunks of dirt in his fur. His body moved across the invisible line where the clan territories were separated, his body went tense for he was stronger then his siblings and bulkier as well, his brothers and sisters knew how to use their skills better then him. 'Raincatch'r? It's Tumblin'paw, Vinepaw's broth'r and Wind'storm's son' Tumblingpaw whispered into a small bush in front of him, his nerves were on end as a scent drifted to his nostrils. He was about to hide in the bush when he was knocked to the floor by a larger body. Beautiful caring eyes stared back at him with anxiousness and confidence, 'Shh! Do you want the whole forest to hear you?' The female climbed up off of him as he shook his head in a fearful answer. 'OK then, I'm Tortoiseclaw, Raincatcher's sister and your sister' The female smiled wildly at him as he stared in wonder into her beautiful eyes.

Running. He was running faster than he had every thought possible. Faster than he had ever run before. It seemed like everyday that the tom was gaining speed. Everyday, he had more incentive to run. He could still hear his father's angry cries in the back of his head, and the tom cringed from the memory. The white tom ran as fast as he could, white forepaws kissing the ground. He made a leap, bounding over a fallen log. On the other side, however, he lost his footing and tumbled to the ground. He rolled in the dirt, his white coat becoming muddied. He slowed to a stop, his eyes frantic. Viperpaw leapt to his paws, meowing in pain as his ankle gave way. He winced. It was twisted- at worse, sprained. The short-furred tom looked around nervously. Was anyone there? Was Windystorm lurking behind that tree? He gulped, weakly padding away. He would need to get back to camp to get his paw fixed. He hoped he could make it without his father noticing. He took a tentative step, almost collapsing with the sudden pinch. But the pain eventually dulled to a slow throb and the white tom was able to make it back to camp. His amber eyes searched the area ahead of him. No one. He was safe enough, for now.

First of all, Brindle, I like your RP example, but I don't thnik that Viperpaw should act like he's better than others. The five apprentices are supposed to be scared, mostly, because of their father. What do you think?

What I meant is that because he's scared of his dad and is secretly terrified, he's really arrogant around the other apprentices to make himself feel more important. Like he acts arrogant and brave so that other cats think he is, even though's he's terrified.

Liars, Liars, Liars! How can you hate what you made?

White paws eased onto the damp ground with slow agile movements careful to leave no sounds for prying ears; stealth was important to Tortoiseclaw. Raising amber flared orbs toward the sky above midnight clouds floated by slowly in a simple grace set apart from the world. The moon was anchored low in the sky rimming along the rows of trees ahead there stood a narrow path something of simple bliss that was well wore by paws that seemed to be just her own. Shadows stretched out before this Fae melting the moonlights casting glow along her tawny brown tabby pelt, the ripple of her muscles moving with able liquid grace nothing tried just natural flowing simply as nature intended.

Tortoiseclaw's paws fell silently as she neared the end of her trail that lead to a small rose bush hidden within the depths of Eclipse clan, her paw rose to part the vines of thorns to a small holed spot in the center of this bush well worn also. Stepping into the spot, she turned twice before curling up on the grass mix of petals, her paws drew against her chest as her head leaned into toward the ground.

Silence...
Sleep had befallen the fallen one.


A scent arose to delicate nostrils something familiar and best forgotten but no..it was there in lingering like smog does over the cities. Windystorm. Suddenly, the night disappeared and there once more the dream occurred. The wind bellowed among the trees the night had fallen and slowly four cats would trail the dream almost forgotten until now.

Tortoisepaw followed Wavepaw as they padded deeper into Eclipseclan, following after Windystorm who was Rainpaw's mentor none of them were aware why he had brought them out so far or why at all. They all were silent as they neared toward the borders of the clan, until Windystorm had stopped and quickly he spoke or rather made clear that we were in fact his kits. Mistakes, worthless...it all happened so quick soon his attention focused on Wavepaw's form who was huddled and seemed to be..crying? Before Tortoisepaw could comfort her sister, her father...moved forward bring a paw down swiftly across Wavepaw's crown sending the tiny apprentice into the ground with a loud thud, no..no silence Windystorm's voice bellowed as he yelled nasty remarks about Wavepaw. Tortoisepaw was stricken with shock she'd never expect this any of this, it was Rainpaw who jumped to defend Wavepaw. Small Rainpaw rushed Windystorm taking him down with bitter ease swiping raised claws against his father's cheek only to be raked down the side in a counter blow. Tortoisepaw rose quickly dragging her sister to the side before yowling for help, the noise of the fight quickly brought on several warriors but none dared to stop this fight. "Cowards! Help him!!!" Tortoisepaw spat, her tail lashing back with a deep fury, she'd sat out of this long enough. Before her sister or the warriors could tug her back she was a blur of tabby fury latching onto her father's back quick to raise her claws up his side with her determined need for blood lust. "You aren't our father, you foxdung!" She scowled softly her jaws locking down onto the male's ear to tug her canines through the flesh, but no even the two of them both her and Rainpaw weren't enough to take him down. Soon the warriors finally joined pulling away the scrambling cats that fought so desperately. Blood welled on the ground showered by the rains that would come soon after, water would come and wash away the blood into the ground to soak another fallen cause.....

Awakened from memories?

Tortoiseclaw shifted in her sleep her claws moving swiftly to unshealth raking over one of the vines, several thorns shot into her paw's pad sending a shock of pain through her Lilith form. "...All just a dream..." She shook her head bring her mouth to her paw to pull the thorns from the downy pads another lightning flash of pain not to bad, but she could fell the bruises and blood that welled from her own pelt but no wounds. "...No..wait..just memories.." She sighed softly raising her head to the starry sky silence just like that night, she shivered with the coming of mornings frost her form curling once more before locking on the moon. Her voice was bitter with mixes of hate, regret and most of all annoyance. "Windystorm, you won't...hurt anyone...anymore. I promise you." Her whispers ran into the wind toward Starclan's gates through the forests beyond and through the shallow thrills of the river.

Okies, I've got part of an idea to add to your idea, Jolly.

Let say, like to protect the others, the apprentice tells Windystorm that its just Vinepaw that has been talking to the older siblings and plotting something.

Now of course he has already suspected something was going on among the apprentices and now that he thinks that Vinepaw started it all he starts taking her on more hunting or boarder patrols alone and naturally beats her thinking it will make her forget about Raincatcher.

So then, of course, this takes up all her time and since Windystorm won't let Vinepaw out of his sights, one of the other apprentices start going to see Raincatcher and hearing whats happening to Vinepaw just gets him madder.

Good? Bad? Something?

You know what else...what if one of the younger or older siblings took to abusive ways too? And when finding out they were betrayed beats that cat in fury which would start a string of beatings from this abusive feline. =x Sometimes it's just in the Genetics!!!

I think it would awesome if Viperpaw could be the spy. I've just decided. I want him to be particularily close to Vinepaw (though if Mouseh minds, I can change that <3). So maybe instead of Vinepaw getting the one beaten up, Viperpaw can be lying to protect her?

If that doesn't work out, I'd love to roleplay Viperpaw feeling really guiltly. Cause his siblings would still trust him, but he's so scared of Windystorm that he's ratting on them <3

Umm, kay, I like Mouse's idea, but I dunno, Stormy, if one of the cats should take to beating. The three older siblings are trying to come to terms, still with windystorm and his abusiveness and are all against it. The younger ones are too young, I think. Though, later on, it could be an idea. I dunno.

As for the spy, you guys should decide. Viperpaw, Eveningpaw or Tumblingpaw? I dunno. Why don't we vote or something. What do you guys think?

Okies, Viperpaw and Vinepaw can become close, but I think Vinepaw would probably still take the beatings just to protect her other siblings and give Eveningpaw the chance to meet with their older siblings.

Okie, Mouse and I, well, Mouse really xD, came up with the end tothe plot. Here it is.

First off, Vinepaw can't go see Raincatcher because Windystorm is probably going to be watching her closely since she was the only one he saw that night of the attack.

Ok, lets say Windy knows something is going on and he knows that Vine had been out doing something that night he was attacked. Me and Brindle have a thread in the medicine cat den were I guess Windy would still be, Vine is going to tell Floodgate that she likes him and he is going to tell her that he is in love with someone else.

Windy sees the whole thing, maybe not hear anything, but he sees Vine is hurt and decides that she might have a moment of weakness at that moment. So he follows her outside of the camp and when he meets up with her, he gets all fatherly, maybe lies about wanting to change his ways and such. Then they start talking about the fight with Wavedancer and Windy some how convinces Vine that Wave really did attack Alderthorn and then tried to kill him. Vine, who is all depressed, confesses to the moonlight meetings, but she doesn't tell him what they are about.

So the night that they meet, Windy[and Raccoon?] follows behind his kits[all except for the depressed Vine] and then attacks the other warriors, I guess. Now here, I was actually thinking that Windy has one of the older warriors pinned and Vine appears out of nowhere and tackles him. Raincatcher is going to help out Vinepaw and tackle Windystorm. Windystorm finally gets the upper hand and kills Raincatcher, and then the apprentices back off. Up in Starclan, Raincatcher takes on Vinepaw to be her guardian. Wavedancer goes into a rage and attacks Windystorm later on. She ends up killing him. But for the battle that Raincatcher dies in, I need a patrol from Brightclan to fight against the kin, so it's more evened up. They should think tha the five apprentices have betrayed Brightclan and then they attack. Then the ugle truth comes out after Windystorm dies. With the help of Raincatcher guiding her, Vinepaw tells Grainstar the sad and horrible truth. If any of the other apprentices are wanting to be there, they can.
