LOOKS xClaws slash out just in time to rake the side of an enemy; just as fast a sharp jaw clamps down on a nearby tail-tip. Thus is the way Jackalpaw fights, with his every move calm and ready. Four paws are home to his claws, each one big and a pale gray. Creeping like vines, this color continues up his body and covers him whole, with stripes and cloudy patches here and there. His legs are thin and well-defined, ready to pounce any time. They are not unlike any of the other cat's legs, really...
Erm, moving on. Jackalpaw's head is round and well-built, with two, usually slitted, eyes. They are tinted green, with flecks of lighter blue and darker viridian. His jaw is powerful and holds teeth that are sharp like needles - large needles. His nose leather and paw pads are a pale pink, blending well with his pelt. A slick, flicking tail finishes off this cat who has a tendancy to get angry.
PERSONALITY xOh, Jackalpaw, you heart breaker.
This tomcat is the most reserved of his siblings, but don't think of him as shy. Instead, this tom's a loner. He doesn't know what he wants others to think of him, so he hangs low and doesn't talk to many other cats, in slight fear and wonder of what others will say about him. He is not close to his siblings nor does he try to be, perhaps from lack of intrest, perhaps not.
He is prone - and known, pardon my rhyme - to get jealous and be stopped dead by it, not being able to focus on anything until he gets over it. It usually doesn't take long, though, because he's horrible at holding grudges, but it can still be a few days before he gruffly forgives anyone. Jackalpaw is not the best with words, and usually fumbles and delays a bit before finally saying anything to anyone.
If Jackalpaw is angered, watch out for a harsh retort or two. It'll be over soon enough, because it's hard for Jackalpaw to hold a grudge - but if he wants something, he'll try to get his siblings to help him get it. The ironic part is that he himself is easily tempted by things he enjoys. He is over-protective of the things that he thinks - or the things that are - his, including prey and moss.
HISTORY xA battle between two cats, one, a large and powerful rogue leader, the other, a pregnant she-cat. Why were they fighting? Especially with one expecting kits? To the five that were born by that she-cat afterwards, it's a blur. But still, it happened, and I have a story to tell.
It's slightly strange that the two that were fighting were once allies. Xandar and Taintedlily, respectively, were both respected and feared in the rogue lands. They aimed for the same thing but had different ways they wished to go about it. Xandar was a rogue leader and wanted to defeat every other rogue leader, so to have the rogue lands for himself and his following. Taintedlily wanted freedom, but she wanted peace to come along with it. Despite this, Taintedlily was a great fighter and completely loyal to Xandar, and proved it after another rogue leader took pity on her during battle and she refused to have: he annnounced that there was no need to fight Xandar's rogues, and so when Dragon sent each of his rogues to kill them all, Taintedlily managed to kill so many of them that Xandar's rogues could escape.
Afterwards, Xandar ordered Taintedlily to take hostage the Clancat named Hartflight. She agreed, and was shocked when Hartflight wholeheartedly followed her back to the rogue camp - which included a slight scuffle with the SerenityClanners. Hartflight was kind and wise, and it wasn't a surprise when he became popular among the rogues. Taintedlily had spent so much time with him that she had nearly forgotten their quest. Xandar realized then that Hartflight was not of his use anymore.
"Taintedlily, kill him."
The reply was a firm refusal. Thus began the battle that mortally wounded Hartflight. Thus began the battle that revealed to Xandar that Taintedlily was pregnant. Thus began the battle that Taintedlily learned that Xandar had been jealous of Hartflight. Afterwards, she fled back to SerenityClan and gave birth to a large litter of six, and none were stillborn or even sickly when they grew. Their parents, however, were not as fortunate. Hartflight died, and Taintedlily left her kits for SerenityClan.
And so, Jackalpaw was raised by foster parents; Goosewing and Hawkteller. The litter was apprenticed, promising six new warriors for SerenityClan someday.
