Amberpaw The honey coloured female gasped excitedly at her mentors words, looking eagerly around. The change up her was beautiful and she saw a dark cave in front of her. The MoonShard must be inside! she thought to herself, amber eyes glowing with delight. Her orbs swivelled to Runningcloud as the medicine cat spoke and she drew in breath excitedly as she realised what the SerenityClanner was saying. After Lavenderpaw it would be her ceremony! Her warrior name! Amberpaw looked over to the SerenityClan medicine cat apprentice and flashed her a smile, glad that she was receiving her warrior name. [/sub][/blockquote]

Runningcloud // "Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your true name as a medicine cat. Lavenderpaw, from this moment you shall be known as Lavenderlace. StarClan honors your knowledge and certainty, and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of SerenityClan."
Runningcloud touched noses with Lavenderlace before licking her apprentice's shoulder. She motioned for the other she-cat to touch the MoonShard as she did before turning to Falconfeather.
"You are without a mentor now, young Falconfeather, and Firestar gave you your true. I, too, welcome you as a full medicine cat. StarClan honors you, and I welcome you as the medicine cat of MoonClan." Runningcloud touched noses with Falconfeather before she decided to lie down next to the powerful crystal in case the others wished to speak before they communed with StarClan.

Littlefox dipped her head to the new medicine cats. Then she stood. I know of another young cat who deserves his name tonight. She murmured. Then she fixed her eyes on Prophecypaw. Your compassion and caring composure tells me that I have taught you well. You have a head for herbs that you know perfectly well. After the battle, I don't think I could've done half aas good a job as I did with your help. Now I reward you with your medicine cat name. Starclan, Prophecypaw has trained hard in the way of the medicine cat, and I commend him as a medicine cat in return. I hope you agree with me when I say it is his time. Prophecypaw, I now name you Prophecyteller. You have the strength to fight off illnesses from other cats, you are compassionate, and you decipher prophecies at an accurate and speedy rate. You are now my equal in Eclipseclan. She touched her muzzle to the cat's shoulder, her eyes twinkling with pride.

lavenderlace pick a star on the dark horizon and follow the light you'll come back when it's over no need to say goodbye Lavenderlace.
It was perfect. The name was perfect. It couldn't be more perfect.
Lavenderlace was trembling with anticipation as Runningcloud rested on her shoulder, wanting nothing better than to dive past her mentor and recieve true acceptance from StarClan themselves. What a great time for the Clans to receive new medicine cats - right after a devastating battle, right after so many were wounded or dead. The new medicine cat's heart was heavy but she let herself forget about that; for now she deserved to be happy. Pastelsky would have wanted her to be happy, or else why would she had died for SerenityClan? Lavenderlace took in a deep breath and caught Runningcloud's scent, mixed with those of the other medicine cats. She was one of them now. One of them. A full medicine cat with a proper name, and soon both Timberpaw and Freepaw would have theirs, too. Only they would be warriors, trained to hunt and fight fot the Clan. And she would be there for every time they fell, treating their scrapes and bruises with sweet-smelling herbs. Battles would come and cats would die, but still SerenityClan would go on.
Lavenderlace listened quietly, her heart beating like a bird trapped in a hunting cat's claws. Falconfeather, Prophecyteller. All medicine cats. All of them. One say, she would bring her apprentice to this very place, repeat those words and know that even after she left for StarClan, her Clan would still have a medicine cat. As soon as all the ceremonies were over with, the ginger she-cat pressed her nose to the Moonshard, almost instantly falling into a deep, peaceful sleep.
Opening her amber eyes, Lavenderlace found herself in a framiliar setting: the same feild and forest she had been apprenticed in. Tasting the air, she found nothing but the wafting scent of grass and even fainter was the tint of water and rock, far off and carried by the wind. She wouldn't - she couldn't - see her beloved mother here, but still Cliffkit and Reflectstar and Morninghawk and maybe even her father would be here to guide her. She stood up, then sat down, unsure of what she should be doing.

dragonflydance. i'm not going coz i've been waiting for a miracle
and i'm not leaving
The white shape of Dragonflydance seemed to glow in the half-light of the Moonshard's cavern. She watched, smiling as Lavenderpaw became Lavenderlace and Prophecypaw became Prophecyteller. She kept her tail tip rested on Cometpaw's shoulder. Her apprentice was the youngest of the medicine cat's, and not ready to recieve her full name yet. But that did not make her any less important than any other cat here. But she had have something to do. Dragonflydance stood before her apprentice, her blue eyes twinkling like raw sapphire.
"Cometpaw, is it your wish to enter the mysteries of a medicine cat?" she asked, voice calm and solemn, as she faced her young apprentice. She knew Cometpaw understood the importance of this ceremony. She also knew that Cometpaw would one day be a respected medicine cat. She had known this since she had seen the sign in the sky; a comet zooming over the midnight heavens. Dragonflydance waited for Cometpaw's answer, perfectly still, face bearing no emotion.

prophecyteller He thought, his eyes flicking towards Lavenderlace, trying to get his emotions into order. He smiled at the she-cat that had received her name before him before flicking his eyes towards Dragonflydance. Cometpaw was now the only medicine cat apprentice in the group. He gave a smirk towards the she-cat before looking towards Falconfeather. Three apprentices had been made medicine cats. [/ul]

[ooc]Right guys, i know Blair has posted to be away but this is really getting on my wick. Will somebody else please just post as Cometpaw?
Because Fernie actually said she was going to have Clouded give Amber her warrior name after Aurrie and Kuri had done with Running and Lavender but everybody bloody ignored her. Pretty annoying.
I would quite like to have Amber get her name sometime this year >.<

__I suppose I'll just roleplay on with Lavenderlace's dream, then. <3
The silence was pure, hanging over the night like a blanket. It calmed Lavenderlace to have such a beautiful place to helself, if even just for a moment like this... The dew, just something simple like dew, seemed to shine like countless Moonshards. What an amazing place... Lavenderlace was tempted to move about and disrupt her peace just for a chance at seeing more of StarClan. But the better side of her told her to stay put, and that she did. The forest she knew could not be compared to this amazing land. Did Cliffkit live here all the time?
Her thoughts were interrupted by the appearence of two shimmering cats, arriving on pawsteps lighter than the wind that ruffled their fur. One, Lavenderlace recognized immediately; the other, she did not, although the tom had a framiliar look about him - as if she had seen him before but not known who it was. Cliffkit was the one she recognized, and strangely enough he had grown even in death... But his body was still much smaller than hers, and the orange tabby had to crouch down to be on eye-level with him. The two siblings touched noses and twined their tails, but all the time Lavenderlace's eyes were focused on the older tomcat, trying to figure out where she had seen him before.
"Lavenderlace!" Cliffkit's voice shook the medicine cat from her thoughts, and finally she turned toward Cliffkit while keeping a watchful eye on the other cat. She could see him chuckling at how weary she seemed around him, as if he knew some great secret he wanted to reveal. "Lavenderlace, I'm so happy for you," he purred, touching her nose again.
"Runningcloud has been a great mentor," she replied, dipping her head. Cliffkit looked at the second StarClanner, a michevious twinkle in his amber eyes, and as Lavenderlace glanced over her shoulder to see what was happening the second tom was nodding and walking over to her. She dipped her head to him as Cliffkit half-buried himself in the cat's long, silver fur, purring loudly.
"This," began Cliffkit, stopping for the suspense that already hung in the air. Lavenderlace finally knew what Cliffkit would have been like if -- no. What he was already like, right here and now, in StarClan or not. Her brother was a joker, a trick-player with a big heart. Him and Freepaw would have hit it off, definately. "is our father, Mouseclaw."
... Freepaw! Her sister had the same shaggy silver fur, the same gleaming in her eyes whenever she knew something her siblings didn't know. This was Mouseclaw, the father she had heard so much about! And Lavenderlace could see why Pastelsky had been so proud of him. He looked little older than the she-cat herself, actually, so he must have died young. She looked all over him, scorching him with her eyes, and his gaze remained level, although his happiness at seeing his daughtor could not be masked. After she was finally convinced that, yes, she got to see her father right here before her, Lavenderlace didn't want to waste the moment. She ran at him, purring as she breathed in his warm scent.
"Lavenderlace..." he began, licking her gently atop the head when she finally withdrew from him. "I missed you. Are you ready to take care of SerenityClan, Timberpaw and Freepaw included?" He fixed her with the same eyes Timberpaw had. Was she the only one who didn't have a peice of her father in her?
"Yes," she replied finally.
"Good," he meowed, smiling at her. "Then we must go now. But Cliffkit and Pastel --" the tom cut himself off in a quick display of emotion, and Lavenderlace knew for sure at that moment that her mother had not made it to StarClan. "... Cliffkit and myself will watch over you, my dear." He nodded, obviously trying to hide his own sorrow.
And with that, the two cats, father and son, left.
It wasn't long before a third cat appeared, and this one she knew she didn't recognize. It was a tiny she-cat with bright blue eyes and a spring in her step. Lavenderlace wondered why they'd send a kitten she didn't know to fully accept her. She soon found out. "Hello," the young she-kit mewed, smiling a weary at her. She was beautiful, no doubt, but in her gaze was sadness mixed with pity and regret. Lavenderlace bowed her head silently.
"I am Willowkit," the kitten told her, sitting down a mouse-length away and wrapping her tail around her tiny paws. "I was Runningcloud's first succesor as a medicine cat. I died shortly before my apprenticeship." Lavenderlace could tell by her tone of voice that her own death wasn't what she regretted. She scuffled her paws in the grass, stalling and hesitating, before meowing, "B-before you go... I have something to show you." Without giving Lavenderlace a chance to say anything, she touched noses with her.
Suddenly, a coldness ran through Lavenderlace; so dark and chilling that she felt confused and lost for more than a few seconds. Everything was gone, Willowkit was gone, all around her was the black of night. And suddenly the night parted and she saw Runningcloud, standing in front of a group of cats, angry and rageing. Was that Freepaw she saw, her eyes full of confusion? Crocuspool and Brindletalon, tails twined, over there? The image flickered too fast for her to tell. Foxes were suddenly bursting through the trees and into the SerenityClan camp, snarling and biting. Lavenderlace was cornered, and even though she knew it wasn't real she shivered and nearly cried out.
Then came Runningcloud, yowling at the foxes as if they could understand her. Lavenderlace couldn't hear the words, she felt so far away, but she did catch the last few.
"Nobody hurts my daughtor!"
... Her daughtor? Runningcloud didn't have a daughtor. Unless...
No! had Runningcloud really meant that? Did she mean that much to her? Was she speaking the truth? Runningcloud's daughtor...Had the SerenityClanner meant... her?
Now all she could see was fighting, a snarling Runningcloud and snapping jaws, long, pointed jaws that could kill the medicine cat in one bite. And then -- Next Runningcloud was yowling commands to other warriors, all while fighting off the vicious teath and claws. The medicine cat was an amazing fighter, better than Lavenderlace believed she could ever be. And her fur was amtted with blood, so much Lavenderlace couldn't tell if it was the fox's blood or her own, and now more warriors were coming, rushing to help...
And now Runningcloud's body was tossed to the ground, wounds tattering her skin, her eyes closed. No! It was a dream. A dream, a dream. A bad dream. Runningcloud was still here, waiting for her to come back from this nightmare. She would wake up. She had to wake up. She didn't want any more of this blackness, which had once again began to cover the rest of her dream. But still, all she could see was the tattered image of Runningcloud, her words echoing in Lavenderlace's ears. Go away! she screamed at the image that wasn't there. No sound came out.
And then she woke up. Her limbs ached but the first thing she did was look up at Runningcloud, make sure she was still there, not just a figmant of her imagination. A wave of horrid realization crached over her, and she uttered from her trembling mouth just one quiet word.
"When?" [/blockquote]

cloudedsky.Cloudedsky turned to Amberpaw, and took a deep breath before speaking. "I, Cloudedsky, medicine cat of BrightClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on my apprentice, Amberpaw, who has trained hard in the ways of the medicine cat. Amberpaw, do you wish to take the path of a medicine cat into your paws?" the snowy she-cat asked, her blue gaze falling on her apprentice.

Amberpaw The honey coloured female took a sharp breath in as she heard her mentor speak. She had waited so long for this moment she could barely believe it was here. Finally, she would receive her warrior name and become a fully fledged medicine cat! Amberpaw looked up at her mentor, amber orbs glittering with happiness. She could barely keep still she was so exicted. Standing up proudly she opened her mouth and uttered the two words that determined the rest if her future. "I do" she said, looking deep into Cloudedskys light blue eyes as she waited for her mentor to speak again. [/sub][/blockquote]

Runningcloud // "She killed my father, Mischief, in a fight many, many moons ago. I am here to take my revenge against the one they call Calanthespirit...," the vixen stood in front of all the SerenityClanners, her husky voice like poison. Behind her sat a pack of foxes, baring their fangs at the sentries they had flopped aside.
"That is my mother..."
It's said that Cougarpounce, her mate, was killed in battle with the fox named Mischief. He had just confessed his love for her when the foxes attacked. After his murder, the foxes then went to Calanthespirit in an attempt to capture her and take her back to their queen. When they entered the clan camp, they did so with a great show, proclaiming their queen was better than Reflectstar and that Calanthespirit had to come with them as punishment for Mischief's death. Calanthespirit is said to have replied:
"Your proposal is pleasing to me; indeed, my mate cannot rise again from the dead. But I desire to honor you tomorrow in the presence of my Clan. Return now to your dens, and remain there with an aspect of arrogance. I shall send for you tomorrow ."
The soldiers left feeling pleased, but that night Calanthespirit stayed up and planned. She told SerenityClan to hide out by the Sharp Cliff. The next morning as promised, the foxes were allowed to meet with Reflectstar, Jasmineflower, and Calanthespirit by the Cliff. However, upon arrival, they were pushed by the hidden Serenityclanners. Calanthespirit had them murdered, but her revenge didn't stop there.
The pregnant she-cat stood vigil at her mate's grave, where she asked everyone to join her, including the next set of messenger foxes. Asking the Clan to wait upon the foxes, she made sure they got good prey...good and stuffed with herbs. It is said that, when the foxes were so out of it on poppy, she then fed them poisoned rabbits and squirrels.
"You may fight me instead. No one touches my daughter...," Runningcloud hissed, standing by Lavenderlace's side. She felt herself lunge for the foxes with SerenityClan at her back, and then the world turned black.

// Let's just say Cometpaw replied and everything, okay? x___x dragonflydance Dragonflydance smiled as Cometpaw's ceremony drew to a close. The young she-cat was on track now, her paws planted on the path to being a full medicine cat. And now it was time. Lavenderlace and Runningcloud had already deemed to lie beside the Moonshard. It was their turn. Nodding to Cometpaw to do the same, the slender white she-cat crouched beside the Moonshard, paws tucked beneath her chest, and extended her head so that her small pink nose pressed against the surface of the rock. It was strikingly cold but did not shock her - she was used to it by now, after long moons of sharing tongues with StarClan.
The darkness shimmered behind her shut lids. Dragonflydance opened her light blue eyes without hesitation. Snow covered the ground, but there was no blizzard. It was eerily quiet. A huge, toweringly tall finger of ice stood over her, reaching high into the smoky sky. Suddenly, a loud yowl broke the silence, and, out of nowhere, a stream of spectres slid. The Thribe of Nightmares. Battling cats raged around, mostly ghostly, but she caught a flash of brown tabby pelt, black and white fur, and even once a mottled tortoiseshell pelt. The battlefield thinned out. She could see one small cat pinned to the snow... Or was it just her eyes? The scene was blurring now, blurring...
Dragonflydance shuddered and woke. But she was not in the cavern of the Moonshard. She stood in the forests of StarClan. The familiar woods comforted her jangling heartbeat. Looking up, she caught sight of what appeated to be a large bird swooping earthward. But she knew it not to be a bird. It was Bluewhisker, her mother's grandfather, and an ancient medicine cat of CloudClan. She touched noses with the blue-grey tom, and stared into his hard yellow eyes. "Bluewhisker, what is happening to the forest?" Bluewhisker shook his head. "All I know, my child, is that a those thought dead will soon return. But one of their number will not... One more known to you than the rest..." Dragonflydance swallowed. Did the tom mean the five kits who had disappeared? One would not return...? Before she could speak, he spoke again. "This battle is not over yet, child. But it will be soon. I know you have heard my whispers. It will be time very soon. Not in this season. Nor the next. But soon."
Dragonflydance looked at her kin, her blue eyes wide. "I'm... I'm going to die?" But the dream was fading. Bluewhisker blinked sadly, then turned and launched himself back into the lilac sky...
Her eyes flew open and she drew in her breath sharply. She sat there, gasping, for a few long moments, drinking in what she had just heard and seen. The sleek white she-cat gave her chest fur a couple of quick licks, then straightened up and shook herself. She could see Lavenderlace was awake, but she said nothing. The others appeared to still be dreaming.

cloudedsky.Cloudedsky smiled warmly at her apprentice before continuing. "Then by the powers of StarClan I grant you with your true name as a medicine cat. Amberpaw, from this day forward you will be known as Amberpool. StarClan welcomes you as a fully fledged medicine cat, and honours your honesty and hard work." the pure white she-cat stepped forward and licked Amberpool's shoulder, before motioning to the new medicine cat to follow her, and settled down beside the giant crystal that was the Moonshard. She touched her peachy nose to the sparkling gem, and found comfort in its sharp coldness.
Images... lots of images. Never one becoming clear enough for the medicine cat to focus on.
A flash of what looked like a snowy tundra, with dark feline shapes trudging through it.
A flicker of a huge wolf like creature, fangs bared.
A glimpse of two cats Cloudedsky knew, yet couldn't make out clearly enough to recognise. One was broad shoulered and dark, the other tan with what looked like rings flecking her pelt...
Another image, of another cat Cloudedsky faintly recognised, but couldn't remember where from. This image grew clearer, and it was the feline build of two cats in the last image.
Pecankit...?
The white she-cat didn't have time to process this before her dream flickered ionto the next image, a dark, dark forest with the shadowy outlines of cats just visible through the trees. And what looked like glimpses of ruby red eyes, and pearly white fangs. This last image sent a shiver down the she-cat's spine.
Suddenly, Cloudedsky woke with a jolt, glancing around as she blinked rapidly to get rid of her blurred vision. She saw that Dragonflydance was awake, and smiled half-heartedly at her. Was that long legged tabby form really Pecankit, all grown up? And if it was did that mean she isn't dead? Cloudedsky wondered, deep in thought as she waited for the others to emerge from their dreams.

Amberpool Amberpool almost squealed with excitement as she received her warrior name. Amberpool! It was just perfect. She touched her nose to Cloudedskys, eyes shining with gratitude. Glancing up she saw everyone at the Moonshard, dreaming. She padded forward, stomach twisiting with nerves. Amberpool continued to the shard, her breathing shallow and quick. Then, her nose touched it and she was asleep.
A dark forest. Endless, endless trees. They seemed to go on forever, with no way out, no way to escape. The honey coloured female looked around her, eyes curious. Where on earth was she?
Voices, whispering, floating on the wind. Shadows surrounded her. But nothing was...
Suddenly she gasped as a form slammed down in front of her. Terrified, Amberpool skittered backwards. She recognised this cat, a SerenityClanner. "Peanutdrift. Thank StarClan, i thought you.." "SILENCE!" the massive cat roared, his browns pelt seeming like smoke. Amberpool squealed and shrank back, her amber orbs wide. What was going on?
Peanutdrift turned to her, towering over her. He lashed his tail as she squealed, revelling in the sound. "Your pathetic, useless Clan. You all came too late. We died, these cats with me, all of them died because of your Clan. Too scared. You couldnt help us in the battle, you are all just weaklings" he spat the last word, the salive hitting Amberpool on the cheek. "No, thats not how it was. We.." she began.
"Did i say you could speak?! Quiet, you fool" he snarled, before beckoning with his tail. "But we got you back, look see. Ghostlystars son. Your precious leaders son. We stole him from StarClan! he yowled triumphantly as Mysterycurse bobbed up from behind him, black maw gaping as he laughed along with Peanutdrift. But his electric blue eyes were no longer the beautiful blue, but a deep, blood red. All around her red eyes, horrendoues laughing bore down upon her as she screamed and screamed for help.
Suddenly the haze lifted. The Tribe screamed at the light and flew away as a snowy white she-cat landed in front of her, flapping her pink-tinged white wings gracefully. "Do not fear Amberpool. They are gone. StarClan are with you" Swanflight whispered, touching her nose to Amberpools. She turned and nodded to the other cats behind her and they all rose, gracefully flying away.
Gasping, she woke up, amber eyes still wide and terrified. That had been awful. Horrendous. The Tribe had entered her mind, blocked her from StarClan right until the heavely Clan had fought their way into her dream. Amberpool looked around anxiosuly, wondering if any of the others had experienced the same thing. She was still shaking from her ordeal, trembling with fright and shock. [/sub][/blockquote]

prophecyteller the white tom called as he circled around to face whatever was going after the two cats. The cat bared his fangs as he was barrelled over by another cat. His eyes were burning. "After the she-cat, Brand! Cutt!" The tom that had tackled the white tom down yowled as he dug his sharp claws into his side. The two other cats raced after the flame colored she-cat that still held the kit. Prophecyteller raced after them the three cats. as he reached them, he could already see the danger. The kit was thrown to the ground with the red-orange she-cat standing protectively infront of it. His blue-silver eyes took look of the she-cat, her eyes caught his attention, though. The same as his. Blue-silver irises and white pupils. His jaw dropped as he then looked at the kit behind her. Three legs, small body, eyes like his....... "Stay away from my Prophecy!" At this, Prophecyteller's eyes snapped open, jumping to his paws and looking around. His claws unsheathed, but then retracted as he noticed where he was. It was a dream...but who were those cats? Why had the flame-colored she-cat have the same eyes as him? And why had he seen himself as a kit? Questions stormed his mind as he awaited his companion to finish her dream. [/ul]

ooc;// That's Cally for yaRunningcloud // Runningcloud awoke stiffly and noticed that Lavenderlace was staring at her with a sort of horrified look and the question of 'when?' Had their dreams been related? She shook her head and didn't answer her apprentice, instead turning to look at the others with a rather majestic expression to hide the pain inside.
She hadn't even gotten the chance to meet with StarClan. She, instead, had been thrown into a dream about her mother and the foxes, a story she had heard many times by the elders. She figured that she was to die in such a way, and she would welcome it. However, she knew that she had to start teaching Lavenderlace how to fight now. The she-cat knew about herbs and more learning about that would come in time, but she needed to know how to hunt and defend herself. Runningcloud had been too busy to do it but now she would make time.
She turned to the other she-cats and tom. "I had a nightmare," the massive ginger she-cat said gruffly, crossing her paws in her seated position. "This Tribe is getting on my last damn nerve, blocking me from the Clan I serve." We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days... Through the fire and the flames we carry on! [/blockquote]

Littlefox shut her eyes and allowed her dream to come to her. Suddenly, she heard fighting. Her eyes flew open, and she was in the Jay's Hollow, watching the battle with the clans versus the tribe. Her heart pounded. Not again! The Tribe had won once, but they couldn't win again!! She saw the bodies of her dead clanmates laying sprawled across the bloody scene. Then a light flashed in front of her. As it came closer, the battle ceased.
A mottled cat padded towards her. No, it couldn't be. Mottledkit? She whispered, her eyes slitted against the growing light. The kit smiled, before vanishing. Relieved, she shut her eyes, and curled into a ball. As soon as she did, her eyes flew open. She was back at the Moonshard. She stood and stretched. Littlefox went to rouse Prophecyteller, but before she could, a cat padded toward her. I'm still dreaming, aren't I? She asked. Lunardance smiled at her. Yes. She replied, before walking to an unused portion of the cave. Littlefox followed the spirit and sat down beside her. What has happened to the forest? Will we always be hunted by the Tribe? Afraid of where we put our paws? I've seen so much death the last moons.. It's heart-wrenching to watch so many of your clan die and you can't do anything about it. She murmured. Lunardance's gentle features turned grim. There is nothing you can do... But you will soon be freed. The five cats who left will help free you once and for all. Lunardance smiled and walked away. A gentle breeze blew, and the she-cat was gone.
But in her place a red eyed monster glared at her. You think you're free, but you're not... It laughed and faded. Littlefox blinked her eyes and awoke in the cave.

cometpaw Although she had remained solemn throughout her official medicine cat apprentice ceremony, said the right and proper things, remaining with a strait face that betrayed no secret emotions, she waited a moment after Dragonflydance settled by the MoonShard before she let her paws quiver in excitement, though her face twisted in a slight puzzled expression as she cross examined the smirk Prophecyteller had given her as she was apprenticed, did the tom think she could not be a good apprentice? Earlier he seemed nice, but then again he said a sum of two words to her, it was hard to tell. Her tail twitched passively as everything she learned told her to simply let it go, so she stored the memory behind her and wished to forget it, taking her mentors example with a final sweep around the cavern with her amber green gaze, her slim, long furred brown body tucked in next to Dragonflydance, paws elegantly before her, and she lightly let her nose touch to the MoonShard. A slight spasm danced through her spine as the coldness shocked her, thinking the process would be somewhat gentle and heavenly, her first dream into the depths of StarClan thoroughly surprising her.
She was plummeting lower and lower through scary dark depths, tossing and turning through space, her body rocketing in every which direction, twisting and turning randomly. Her eyes remained wide and alert, though reflections of fear could be easily spotted in their amber green depths as her neck twisted, and with her eyes squinting, she was just able to make out a shadowy, unknown land. She thought unclearly, confused at StarClan's appearance. For sure this could not be StarClan, where all her ancestors lived happily with endless prey? She shuddered again as this mysterious land grew closer and closer, her stomach lurching as she continued falling, faster and faster. "StarClan?" she saw a figure of a cat, though it looked slightly mutated and disformed... this couldn't be StarClan. "StarClan?" she screeched this time in pure fear, seeing the deformed cat below her appear closer and closer made her body shiver in disgust as she realized it was covered in more blood than she had ever seen, definitely an unfixable wound, though this cat, who stared up at her viciously, did not seem to want to be saved or healed. Deep in its eyes was something between want and pity, though she dared not to look that deep. Before she dared to scream for help from StarClan again, her mouth slightly agape in though of doing just so, a light, weak looking figure of a mysterious cat sporting a StarClan'ners wings appeared before her, it's appearance seeming to save her from her cruel and harsh plummet to 'doom', but she shivered all the same as this new cat's eyes bore into her. "Where am I?" was all she could think about whispering, a sigh of relief releasing from her as she realized this cat was helping her get away from the deformed cat, and the evil shadowy-looking place. "Are you from StarClan?" she spoke quietly again, as if she was afraid of being overheard in this space of nothingness as they rose farther away from the dark lands. The cat seemed to shake its head and nod at the same time, so her amber green eyes could only gaze at him confused, before she swayed gently in a mist, her eyes going dark again. This time she awoke somewhere else, everything seemed more peaceful, but she realized quickly it was not the MoonShard cave again, and she silently hoped she made it to StarClan. Another cat appeared before her, but it seemed far away and unreal. "Are you the cat who saved me?" she spoke nervously, she wished to move forward to see this cat better, but her common sense told her to stay put. A near silent 'no' was whispered in her ear, making her head dart side to side frighteningly, checking for the cat who told her, only making her shake in confusion, before more mysterious words came to her, the cat in front of her still not coming closer, it's mouth still decidedly shut. "I am not the one who rescued you, he is resting and tired... we are weaker now, with the darker Clan's haunting us, taking the dead which should be resting with us." She shuddered again, though her eyes remained on the cat in front of her "that's where you were... never go there again, you must never go there again!" it seemed angry in a passionate way, like whomever it was talking to her, was speaking in her concern. She nodded, her eyes in a daze before the cat in the distance disappeared, and she stepped forward to chase it, only to have her dream shatter in two.
She finally opened her eyes once more, and their amber green depths were glazed over in fear and confusion, her black and brown fur surrounding her body in a puffed out, protective cocoon before it flattened quickly, as she realized she was now back in the safety of the MoonShard cave. She blinked widely for a moment, her head dipping to calm herself, gently licking her chest as she thought her dream over. It was so frightening, the voice so real... the mutated cat still haunting her, appearing every time she shut her eyes. Finally she looked up, and pressed nervously against Dragonflydance beside her, also awake and finished with her dream.

ooc;// Let's get this over with... Runningcloud // Runningcloud cleared her throat and stood up, towering over the sitting or laying-down cats. She lifted up her head to gaze upon the peak of the crystal before looking down at everyone else. "It's best we go," she said quietly. The large ginger shook her fur, tiny pebbles and dirt scuttling everywhere. She turned to Lavenderlace.
"Come, child. We should get back home." We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days... Through the fire and the flames we carry on! [/blockquote]

dragonflydance Dragonflydance watched silently as the medicine cat's began to wake up, one by one. Her light blue eyes had calmed now, like the time just after a violent storm. The white she-cat noticed Cometpaw jerk awake, and wondered briefly if her apprentice had managed to reach StarClan. Dragonflydance felt the younger she-cat's soft fur brush her flank, and pressed comfortingly against the smaller cat. Dragonflydance rose as Runningcloud spoke. Yes. It was time they got back to their clans. Dragonflydance gave Cometpaw a little nudge, before turning to lead the way back out of the cavern of the Moonshard.
Her paws made no sound on the cold stone floor she was so used to. Dragonflydance's white fur seemed to glow in the gloom. Soon she could see a slice of light up ahead. She increased her pace. Dragonflydance emerged into the dawn light, blinking her light blue eyes rapidly. She shook herself and breathed in the grass-scented air.

prophecyteller He asked, his voice abnormally soft, even coming from him. Prophecyteller normally had a soft voice, but the dream....it had brought something onto him, watching that she-cat defend her kit she had called Prophecy. [/ul]

Lavenderpaw stood up, her muscles still rigid from the prophecy. Was it a prophecy? As much as she wanted to deny it, forget about it, it made sense: Willowkit, Runningcloud's first apprentice had given her the dream, and she had seemed as if she didn't want to be the one to tell about her former mentor's death. What was Willowkit like when she was alive? (She'd have to ask some older SerenityClanners) Would Lavenderlace have became a warrior instead of a medicine cat if she had lived? (Obviously) How had she died? (Again, she'd have to ask)
Lavenderlace looked towards Runningcloud, resisting the urge to brush pelts with the mentor she loved so much, the mentor who had supposedly 'adopted' her since Pastelsky's death, and tell her all about the horrible prophecy. But she knew she could tell no one. The prophecy was so glaringly obvious, that the beloved Runningcloud - both deputy and medicine cat - was going to die. And for who? A measly medicine cat apprentice who couldn't defend herself. Trying to smile, she remided herself that Freepaw and Timberpaw would be warriors by now. They could teach her... [/blockquote]

cometpaw*__ i love you but i gotta stay true The young she cat jumped at her mentors gentle nudge, a reminder to leave following her, causing her to look around the room in a lost motion, standing on her four, small paws as if someone was attacking her. Cometpaw sighed, and behind Lavenderlace, exited the Moon Shard cavern. Although she felt a natural sadness as she left this unique place behind, she couldn't help being glad that now she could put the odd, frightening dream behind her. Her whiskers lightly felt the way out of the thin, tight passage way before a sliver of light and the smell of grass tinted air told her she was nearly through, and she shivered in spite of herself as she left the cave, padding quickly up to walk beside her mentor. The apprentice's amber green eyes flashed in constant reminder of her new dream, and she peered for a second at Dragonflydance. She seemed so confident, and unafraid unlike she was. The day where she'd be like her mentor seemed so far away and unreal...
my morals got meon my knees

Littlefox turned her faraway gaze on Prophecyteller. She shook her head to clear it. Of course, Fernpelt will be expecting us. She meowed. Then she flicked her tail and led the way out of the cave. She stopped briefly and turned to all the medicine cats. May Starclan be with you all. She meowed solemnly, before turning and leaving the mystical place.
