[/color][/size]Aloepaw walks on paws so small and delicate that make not a sound. These paws are slender and delicate, and- Add in the fact that Aloepaw is a tom. He's not your average tom; muscular, strong. He relies of speed and intelligence rather than brute force. Aloepaw has a neat, small body. His paws, as mentioned, are very small - yet they do not seem too small for his limbs, which snake slimly to the joint. Aloepaw's claws are unlikely to swiftly unsheath, but in the dead of battle they are obviously bone-white. His shape is wiry around his stomach. He has long tail that explains his acute sense of balance. Aloepaw's face is handsome, but often vacant. His eyes are wide and filled with a cool pale green. His nose is a coffee brown colour.
Aloepaw's coat is of short, smooth fur. It fluffs out slightly on his stomach and throat, with a light, downy feel. This reminds you that Aloepaw is not long out of kithood. The hue of his coat is warm and safe - a biscuity cream colour. This colour is sliced by stripes, but not your usual face and flank stripes. Aloepaw is not a tabby. Ragged stripes of caramel-coloured fur slash over the forefront of his limbs. The same colour is reflected on his tail tip and the backs of his ears. The ghosts of stripes similar to those on his legs echo along his tail.

[/color][/size]Just a glance can tell you a lot about Aloepaw. He has unusual qualities about him. He is somewhat of a misfit in his own clan, being so different and unusual. Aloepaw has a very dreamy nature. He believes in many things that have been proved physically impossible. Aloepaw has a brilliant way with words, and can sound utterly convincing when relaying a tale to a fellow apprentice. But far from being celebrated for this, Aloepaw is mocked. He is not your average tom, determined to be the best warrior, shoeing off their fighting and hunting skills. Aloepaw knows the importance of the warrior code, but he does not much care for hunting and fighting.
Aloepaw is very careful with everything he touches. He knows the importance of life and death. He rarely loses his temper and lashes out; only a very low insult would result in such a reaction. Aloepaw tries not to let the bullying burrow past his protective shield, but the nastier comments sometimes do just that. If you're quiet, and creep into the apprentices' den after a confrontation, you may just find Aloepaw sobbing. Quite alone.

[/color][/size]Mano'lana was a group built around hope. They resided in the Lands Inbetween. The law was to sacrifice one kit a moon to the goddess Nadezhda. Estel had lost her mate, Ayize soon after her pregnancy was discovered. She knew, when her labour began, that one of her kits would be in danger of becoming the sacrifice. There were few other kits due to the season; winter. To Estel's despair only one of her three kits survived. She knew she should expect him to be taken, and therefore try not to grow to attatched to him, but she could not resist him. She named Aloalo, meaning 'loved'.
Estel's worst fears were confirmed. She was told that, at twilight, her tiny Aloalo would be sacrificed to Nadezhda. She refused to believe that her son's fate would truly happen. Instead she ran away, with only her brother Toivo joining her. They fled towards the warmer lands where they knew cats resided from traveller's tales. But their shadows were observed and followed. One night Estel awoke to find Toivo protecting her from a group of strong tomcats. He told to flee, and though she hated to leave him, she grabbed Aloalo and ran.
But she only managed to reach the forest's edge when the cats caught up with her. The two were attacked. A SerenityClan patrol arrived and fought off the attackers. But they were too late for Estel. She made them promise to care for 'her little Alo'. Aloalo was taken back to the camp and given to a nursing queen to raise. He was given the name Aloekit. Aloekit was always alienated from the other kits, even by his fostermother, due to his strange ways and unusual accent. By apprentice age, Aloekit was used to it.
