// Reserved for Brindletalon. <3
The air was cold, the wing chilling. The sun had hidden its shining face behind a mantle of gloomy clouds, and a smattering of sleet was falling like the tears of an angel. The camp was a bitter place, deserted but for a few cats slipping in and out of the quiet dens. There was a sense of hush about the place, as though somebody important had just passed away. A single figure stood out among the dreary dens; a tortoiseshell, her pelt brightly woven with forest hues of amber, brown and tan. Her snowy white paws shivered with cold as she stuck her pretty head into the warriors' den, blinking her earthy hazel eyes.
"Brindletalon?" she called, her lips moving delicately, her wide eyes blinking rapidly. They roved through the sleeping bundles of fur in the den, seeking out the dappled cat she was looking for. "Brindletalon? Are you in here? I was wondering if you wanted to go hunting, or something." After a moment, Crocuspool withdrew, ears flat with disappointment. He must've have gone hunting already, with somebody else. Probably Octoberlies or Hyenaoaw... The pretty ortoiseshell she-cat gave a little sigh, turning around. She trudged towards the camp entrance, ready for another day of boring hunts by herself, and annoying patrols in which she was seperated from Brindletalon. She sighed irritably; she hadn't been able to talk to her best friend for ages, because of the chaos of the war with Chaosfire. Crocuspool gave a hiss as she thought of the wretched silver tabby. Thank StarClan she's finally six feet under.

Brindletalon raised his mottled head from the furthest corner of the warriors den from the entrance. He had heard hs name called and a smile crept on his lips as he smelt the sweet scent on Crocuspool. He heard her leave and stood up quickly, picking his way between the other cats, Foxtail and Deathwish sleeping next to each other, the same as Clearpool and Peanutdrift. He finally slipped around Mysticsight and out into the cold sleety day. He jogged over to her, waking himself up. "Hey Crocuspool!" he siad, touching his nose affectionately to hers. He licked a paw and drew it over his ears, all the while grinning cheekily. "So, you said something about hunting? Sure, sounds good, we could do the morning patrol as well" he said, shaking his pelt as it got dampened by the sleet falling down from the heavens. [/color][/blockquote]

Crocuspool stopped to shake the frost irritably from her small white paws with a sigh. Her hazel eyes followed the cloud of her breath as it drifted upward and dissolved. The tortoiseshell began to walk forward again, until a loud voice sounded in her ear. She jumped, her claws unsheathing, her patched fur bristling. She wheeled around, eyes blazing, but relaxed when she recognized Brindletalon. Crocuspool sheathed her claws and cuffer him soundly over both ears. "Don't creep up on me!" she mewed. There was anger in her voice; but humor too.
The slender she-cat twitched her large, angular ears. "Yes," [/b] she mewed, tail swishing slowly from side to side. "That was the genera plan, but you were so busy snoozing you didn't hear me." Crocuspool stuck out her bottom lip, preventing to be sulking. The tortoiseshell gave a short purr, blinking her large, bright eyes in amusement. "Well, come on then!" she mewed, springing into action. "C'mon, slowpoke!" The she-cat leapt into the trees, her paws throwing up clouds of icy frost.[/blockquote][/sub]

Brindletalon threw himself on the ground at Crocuspools bash on his ears, pretending it had knocked him flying. "Ow ow OW! I might not be able to come now, i might have to go to the medicine cat den, oooow my poor ears!" he groaned theatrically. With a cheeky smile he leapt to his feet, bounding along until he drew up beside the sleek=pelted tortoiseshell. "Well, maybe i was so tired cos i was up all night thinking about....you" he said, still smiling at the pretty she-cat. His dark brown eyes were full of amusement but they held a bit of seriousness. Okay, so maybe he had been thinking abot Crocuspool last night... [/color][/blockquote]
