Icelily padded into the nursery. She had just moved there. Icelily felt a kick. She looked down at her stomach and saw the ripples. "Skytomb!" She cried.

With words I thought I'd never speak

The moon brushed her delicate fingers over the silent CloudClan camp, her soft fingertips brushing the fur of a muscular warrior. His blue-hued coat caught silver in the moonlight as he rolled over in his sleep, disturbed. He moaned a little, his brow creased into a frown. The bars of moonlight pushed on, beating down upon the sleeping tom's eyelids. When he heard his name screamed, his eyes flicked open.
The deep, warm yellow depths looked puzzled for a breif moment, before Skytomb pushed himself to his paws. Seeing the blue-grey tabby fur of his son, he gave the young tom a thwack on the head with his tail, before dashing from the quiet den. He slipped into a second den, where a small white cat was curled up. Her sides rose and fell steadily as she slept. Skytomb nudged his daughter urgently.
When she had awoken, he ruhed into the nursery. Seeing his beloved mate lying there, her flanks heaving, he ran up to her. He pressed his nose into her cheek and licked her sweaty brow. This would be alright. It had been alright the last two times. He heard Dragonflydance enter, and speak. He prayed Icelily would be alright she was older now...

Clouds of hazy dreams fell down upon Dragonflydance's mind as she slept. She saw snatches of visions - her brother Shoalpaw, calling to her, Cagedstar, her former leader, and a group of small kits, travelling into a land of frozen heights. She felt something buffet her side, and for a moment she wondered what StarClan was trying to tell her. Then the sleep was sucked furiously from her body and her sapphire eyes flickered open.
Her father's face blinked urgently at her. Immediatly she understood. She watched her father race away, and forced herself to her paws. She seized a mouthful of herbs, and ran after him. She slipped into the nursery, and looked about. She ran over to her mother, and spoke one word; "Push."

[FIREH!!]

Midnigtsky grunted and rolled over before flicking his eyes open. He stood, shook and padded out of the den.

Icelily heaved, and a single kit came. She pushed again, and another cameo ut. Soon, another came. It was all over. "Thank you," was the two words she whispered.

Dragonflydance watched as her mother gave birth. As the first little kit appeared, a white tom, she pushed it over to Skytomb. "Lick." Her voice was surprisingly calm. She licked her mother's flanks to help the kits free. As the second appeared, a blue-grey tom like hisfather, she pushed it towards Midnightsky. She guessed he would know what to do. "Come on," she murmured. The labour was not over yet. Suddenly the last kit appeared, a silver tabby. Dragonflydance grabbed a mouthful of herbs and placed hem in front of Icelily. "Eat these," she mewed, before beginning to lick the kit.

Skytomb watched nervously as his daughter licked and nudged his mate, trying to help the kits free. He gasped as the first kit was born; a little white tom. His yellow eyes gleamed as his daughter pushed the kit towards him. He heard her speak, then dipped his head and began to lick his new son. He remembered when Dragonflydance herself had been born - she had looked just like this little tom. Skytomb looked up for a moment as he heard Dragonflydance murmur to herself. He watched as the second kit, a blue-grey tom, was pushed over to Midnightsky. Skytomb smiled. The tom looked just like him. He returned to licking the white kit, though it had begun to stir now. It gave a faint squeak, then wriggled its little fat legs, looking for milk. Skytomb looked at his mate again, in time to see a silver tabby kit being born. As Dragonflydance thrust the herbs at Icelily and began to lick the last kit, Sjytomb got to his paws, picking up the white kit. The little tom felt warm and fluffy in his mouth. He put the kit by Icelily, before pressing his cheek against her's "Well done."

Icelily purred as her kits woke. She ate the herbs and pressed her cheek against Skytomb's. "I love you too," She purred.

The kit Dragonflydance was licking stirred. She staggered over blindly to her mother searching for milk. Icelily nudged her towards her stomach, where the kit began to suckle.

Midnightsky cleaned his tom. The tom looked just like him and his father. He smiled. He nudged the kit to Icelily.

"Stripedkit," she touched the only she-kit. "Indigokit," She touched the white tom, "Hailkit," she touched the last tom, a blue-grey one. Her kits, all ten of them were healthy.

Skytomb listened quietly as his mate named each of the tiny, wriggling kits. Hailkit, Indigokit and Stripedkit. He remembered his other two litters of children. The only two survivors of the second, Halopaw and Clokedpaw. Rushpaw, Flightpaw and Shoalpaw had all died. He gave a shiver of greif, but knew his dead sons and daughter would want him to be happy. Then there was Draginflydance, Midnightsky, Pixiemagic and Littleshine. He smiled as he moved forwards, licking Stripedkit between the ears. He smiled at his two sons, then pressed his nose into Icelily's soft cheek. "They're wonderful."

Dragonflydance made sure her mother ate he herbs. he watched, with a smile on her gentle face, as her mother and father named her new brothers and sister. Hailkit, Stripedkit and Indigokit. Her smile widened as she wondered what antics they would get up to when they grew. She waited until her father had finished speaking, before moving forwards. The medicine cat carefully examined each kit. "Hailkit's a little on the small side, but other than that, they're all fine," she purred afterwards, licking her mother between the ears. "Congratulations." The white she-cat suddenly sighed. "I need to get back to Tawnykit. She's got a cold." Dragonflydance dipped her head, before quickly padding from the nursery.

A faint whisp of noise reached Lemonzest's ears as she slept. She stirred, then opened her bright yellow eyes. She could see the backs and tails of Midnightsky and Dragonflydance. Guessing that it was Icelily's kitting, she shut her eyes again. She knew the couple would want to savour their newborn kits alone, for a moment. When she heard Dragonflydance leave, the queen opened her eyes again. She checked on Dewkit. The dark grey and white she-kit was fast asleep. Lemonzest crept over to Icelily, Skytomb and their son and whispered; "Congratulations."

[ooc;] I know. ^^ OK, the actors for Shoalpaw, Flightpaw, Rushpaw, Littleshine and Pixiemagic have all gone inactive. Shoalpaw, Rushpaw and Flightpaw van have died, but since Littleshine and Pixiemagic are warriors, should we get them new actors?

Midnightsky nodded his congratulations and padded silently out of the den.

Skytomb nodded his thanks to Lemonzest. He knew he dark tabby queen had suffered a lot of ain when Cormorantstar had died, even more so than the rest of the clan, as he had been her mate, and the father of her kits. Skytomb felt strong sense of sympathy towards Dewkit and Tawnykit, as they had to grow up knowing that the fomer CloudClan leader was their father, yet he had died before they had even known him properly. Skytomb turned and licked Icelily's cheeks. He could see she was getting drowsy. The tom nuzzled his mate once more, before beginning to follow his son from the nursery. He would leave his mate and children to sleep peacefully. He touched noses with Lemonzest, before slipping out of the nursery.

Lemonzest smiled at Icelily. She knew this was her friend's third litter, and possibly her last. Lemonzest was a lot younger than the white queen, and Skytomb was older than his mate. The she-cat knew that soon Icelily and her mate would join the elders - in a few seasons at the most. Lemonzest looked closely at Icelily's new kits. They reminded her fiercely of her own kitting, and she sighed, remembering Cormorantstar. Pushing thoughts of her dead mate to the back of her mind, she touched her nose to Skytomb's before padding back to her nest.

[ooc;] We already decided how Shoalpaw died.. How about Rushpaw and Flightpaw went out hunting together and were killed by a fox?
