Ribbontail padded into camp. She opened her maw, scenting her mother, and the two sibling warriors, Galeforce and Breezestealth. Sunjinx had obviously been hunting with the two warriors. Ribbontail snelt the trail leading out of camp again. She had obviously gone straight back out. Turning to Cloakedclaw, she touched her muzzle to the tom's. "I'm... I'm going to get some.. Herbs." She told him. Her look told him not ask questions. |

Cloakedclaw was about to ask, but he shut his mouth. "Okay. I love you. I'll be in the warriors' den, waiting for you!" He smiled and walked away.

Ribbontail smiled. "Love you too,!" she called after him. Nervousness formed loops in her stomach. She slipped into the medicine den, opening her mouth to draw in the scents. She smelt herbs, and the faint scent of sickness and blood. he also smelt the young, kind medicine cat, Dragonlydance, who also happened to be Cloakedclaw's sister. The white she-cat smiled at Ribbontail, her dark blue eyes glittering. "What is it, Ribbontail?"
The bengal swallowed. "I.." She shook herself. "I think I'm expectng kits." She said it in an awful rush. The medicine cat looked surprised. "You think you are pregnant?" Ribbontail nodded.
Dragonflydance nodded at the earth. "Lie down, please." Ribbontail lay down on her side. The medicine cat began to run her paws along the she-cat's flat belly. The medicine cat frowned. "Have you felt sick, or anything?"
Ribbontail frowned worriedly. "No."
Dragonflydance pressed a little harder. She looked surprised. She ran her paw further down. "I can definately feel something..." The white cat looked up. "You have two or three, very small kits in your belly."
Ribbontail looked proud, scared and excited. "Really?" She purred.
"You'd better go and tell the father," Dragonflydance pured, her eyes dancing with inner knowing. Ribbontail nodded, getting to her paws. She ran from the medicine den, calling; "Cloakedclaw, Cloakedclaw!" |

Cloakedclaw lifted his head at the sound of his mate's voice. He stood and ran to her. "What is it?" He sounded worried.

The bengal stopped, gasping. She pushed her mate through the back of the warriors' den lightly with her muzzle. "I..." She swallowed. "I'm pregnant." |

Cloakedclaw gasped. It was true! He was going to be a father! "Oh I'm so happy!" He pressed his muzzle into her's. '' I'm going to tell my parents. Want to come?"

Ribbontail looked worried. "Won't it disturb your mother?" The nervous she-cat did not like being around other queen's kits, as she was always convinced she would accidentally hurt them or say something forbidden. Plus, how could Cloakedclaw be sure his father was here? "I think Skytomb went out hunting at dawn," she commented. |

"Well... I'm sure my mother won't mind," he meowed slowly. "But we can wait for Sunjinx to show herself as well if you want." He meowed lightly. He pressed his cheek to hers and meowed, "I'm so happy."

Ribbontail nodded and smiled. She was glad that Cloakedclaw wanted to wait until Sunjinx was also present. Ribbontail knew her mother for the short tempered warrior she was. She would not look kindly on not being told first. he silver she-cat sighed. verything would change now. She knew he did not have to move to the nursery until her kits began to show. That wouldn't be until a least two moons. She decided to visit Icelily more often, to pick up mothering skills. She knew the pure white she-cat would help her, having three litters herself. |

At that moment Skytomb bounded into camp. He was drenched by the rain that had fallen in a sudden shower in the morning. Shaking his soaked fur, he sneezed and entered the nursery, a fish in his jaws. Ribbontail watched the muscular tom go. "Could we maybe wait until my mother get's back?" she asked Cloakedclaw. |

A small white-silver kit bounded out of the nursury. The sun was shning brightly, making Crystalkit screw up her nose as her blue eyes got used to the light. Padding along slowly, she almost bumped in to Cloakedclaw. Jumping back a little, she tipped her head to one side. "Hi, Cloakedclaw!" she mewed in a high-pitched voice. [/center] |

Ribbontail nodded. She felt hunger gnawing at her belly as she realised she had not eaten since last afternoon. Besides, she was not eating for just herself anymore. On her way to the fresh-kill pile, she watched Crystalkit nearly crash headlong into Cloakedclaw. She purred in amusement at the white kit. "Hello, Crystalkit." |

"Hi, Riboontail!" the kit mewed, happy to be out of the nursury. Blinking again in the sunlight, she turned her head back to Cloakedclaw. Emotions flodded her as she remembered the dream about Cagedstar, but... for a moment she looked confused, but quickly replied, "I'm good. What about you?" She knew this question wasn't needed - she could tell that the tom was happy. But, to be polite, she had asked anyway. [/center] |

"Happy," He answered. Why wouldn't he be? He had a family! Cloakedclaw was dancing with delight. Or, he would be dancing, but he doesn't want to.

Ribbontail nudged Cloakedclaw with her muzzle. She didn't like him making things so obvious. Looking back at Crystalkit, she thought she saw a flash of uncertainty in the kit's eyes. "Are you alright?" she asked kindly. |

"Hey," He whispered. "That's not the only reason I'm happy." He grinned at her, butting his head into her shoulder. "What's wrong Crystalkit?" He noticed the flash of uncertainty in her eyes as well.

Crystalkit blinked, taking a moment to grasp what the two mates meant. But then she realized it - she had been too well-read. They had seen right through her, and seen that somthing was puzzling her.

Ribbontail looked closely at the kit. She wasn't sure Crystalkit was telling trhe truth, but she did not question the young she-kit. She smiled at the thought of being in the nursery, with her kits. Cloakedclaw's kits. Their kits. The silver bengal felt happiness wash over her and shut her eyes breifly. She hoped too much emotion had not showed in her dark, sparklingly blue eyes. |

A meow of welcome confirmed that Icelily noticed Skytomb. She purred and thanked him for the food.
Cloakedclaw laughed at the meow, thinking how that's how him and Ribbontail will be.

Skytomb licked his mate's soft muzzle and touched her ear with his nose. Twining his long tail with Icelily's, he swept his yellow gaze over his three kits. He purred. "How are they?" The little creatures had not yet opened their eyes, but their mewls had gotten louder and their movements more defined. Stripedkit's stipes had gotten darker, Hailkit's fur thicker, and Indigokit's fur more blue. He smiled at his mate. They were so great; it was just like when Halokit, Rushkit, Flightkit, Shoalkit and Cloakedkit had been born. He had lost Rushkit, Flightkit and Shoalkit, which had upset him and his mate greatly. And then the time before, with Dragonflykit, Midnightkit, Pixiekit and Littlekit. He grinned again. |

Skytomb smiled. Hailkit looked a lot like his mother, and his sister Dragonflydance. Indigokit looked the spitting image of Skytomb, and Stripedkit looked a lot like her brother, Midnightsky. The tom licked his mate's ear, fiercely proud of his kits and mate. "I'm going to go and get something to eat. Be right back." The tom approached the fresh-kill pile and sorted through the contents with his muzzle. |

Skytomb spotted his son with Ribbontail and Crystalkit. He picked up a vole in his jaws, and, raising his tail in greeting, he trotted over to the three cats. "Hello Crystalkit, Ribbontail," he smiled at two she-cats. He looked at Cloakedclaw. "Cloakedclaw. There you are. You wernt in the den last night." |
