It was barely sunrise, the sun inching it's way up to warm the cold ground of the forest. Peach and turquoise colors blended together making a wave in the morning sky. It was a quiet morning with finches chirping in their peaceful melody and the woodland animals just waking up from their sleep. A rustle from a dead bush. From it emerged a beautiful white she-cat. With her she carried a small crying kit, not even a moon old. She looked around with a petrified look, but in her eyes a curiosity and excitement tinged her emerald eyes. As quiet as a mouse, she tip-toed over the undergrowth in search of "the clans". Within matter of minutes she stumbled upon a smell. A smell of cats...
Closer and closer she walked until she came to what she believed were one of the clans. She placed the mewling bundle of fur in a small pile of leaves, licked the top of it's head, and raced off into the trees, never to be seen again.

Peanutdrift was waking up from a beautiful dream to go on a patrol with Clearpool. The mottled warrior lifted his head, padding towards the fresh-kill pile. He picked out a starling, bathing in the cool breeze before hunkering down to eat it. However, another scent crossed his nose, another cat. His fur stiffened and his tail lowered as he turned to the source, lumbering over. Then he heard the mewling and his aggressive stance lessened. A kit... he thought, pushing away the leaves to reveal a pretty little she-kit. His heart warmed and almost instantly he loved her. The huge tom lowered his head and picked up the femme, turning and making his way to the nursery. He placed his paws together and sat the fae down there. "Pastelsky, are you awake?" he questioned.

Twin emerald eyes opened, deep and wise with her moons of training and experience - not as much as most cats, but enough to tell she was a distinct cat. "I am now," she meowed, her tone sleepy but with hints of humor. "What is it, Peanutdrift?" she nudged sleeping Lavenderkit closer to her long-furred siblings. It took her eyes a few moments to come into focus with the small kitten Peanutdrift held in his jaws. Pastelsky gasped, looking over the poor, helpless young cat. "I'll take her," the tabby queen replied to the unvoiced question in a low voice, almost darkly. She still missed her mate and son dearly, had StarClan sent this kit as a replacement of some kind? No, they wouldn't do that. It must be fate.
"Does she have a name?" Pastelsky inquired, but then realized that the she-kit was probably too young to know her own name, if she had one. Her fur was a nice shade of brown, kind of like Pastelsky's herself. [/color][/blockquote]

Peanutdrift nodded gratefully towards the pretty queen and turned his large head towards the little one. "I...suppose I can name her," he said softly. The massive tom looked over the young she-kit. "Her pelt...Robinkit, for her pelt." He glanced up at Pastelsky. "Thank you very much, Pastelsky," the large warrior said, bowing his way out of the den. "I don't know where the little kit came from, but...since I found her and all, I suppose...I could be like a father to her." He shrugged slightly, flicking his tail in slight agitation. He lifted his head and turned away. "I suppose I'll see you later, Pastelsky. I apologize for waking you so early."

"It's not a problem, for the kit," Pastelsky meowed humbly. She gently curved her belly around her three - no, four - kits to let them suckle. She would have to explain to Mouseclaw's kits that Robinkit was still much too young to play with them, but other than that she expected that they would get along great. Sighing happily and thanking StarClan for SerenityClan's newest edition, she licked the top of Robinkit's head in a very motherly way.
Lavenderkit was roused when she felt a small cat pushed up against her. At first she suspected it was just Freekit or Timberkit, but she soon realized that it couldn't be one of them, for they had long, wispy coats. This cat had short fur, like her. Lavenderkit opened her eyes slowly, and when they came into focus she nearly screamed. What was this newborn kit doing with her and her mama? "Mama!" she squeaked in a hushed but urgent tone, as if the tiny kitten who looked as if she had just barely opened her eyes were a spy from MoonClan. "Who is this?" she kicked out her back legs as she stood up, jabbing both Freekit and Timberkit in the ribs. [/blockquote]

Robinkit slowly opened her blue eyes. Letting out a short mew of fear, she moved away from her new sister. She had just recently opened her eyes, when her biological mother left her. When her mother settled her down in the undergrowth, she had opened them to see her beautiful mother, with snow white fur, kiss her goodbye. Although she never really knew her, Robinkit felt a connection and a strong bond that she was someone special. With all that was coming at her with the new world of sight, Robinkit just wanted to be left alone...

Timberkit let out a growl at his sister and rolled over. "Lavenderkit, go back to sleep!" he growled, batting at her ear irritably at being interrupted. The long-haired tomkit curled up closer to his mother and when back to snoring away.
Peanutdrift gave a gentle smile towards Pastelsky and nodded, trotting towards the fresh-kill pile.

((Yeah, but she needed a name at the moment. They couldn't just keep calling her 'the she-kit' or some other nonsense. In any case, Peanutdrift can bring it up to Jasminestar and say that he has chosen the name Robinkit for her))

He ate a bit to get the weariness of his shoulders off of him and then turned to his leader's den to go see Jasminestar. He wondered if Clearpool had talked to her yet, but thoughts of his crush flew out the window when he entered the illustrious house of his leader. "Jasminestar," he said softly. "I would like to talk to you."

Jasminestar lay asleep in her den, snoozing away. A dream of hunting filled her mind. As soon as she heard Peanutdrift call to her, she opened her eyes slowly. She saw Peanutdrift standing in the entrance of her den. She yawned loudly, and stood up. Come in, come in, she said. She stretched her sleepy limbs and settled back down into the moss. Now, what do you want to talk to me about at this time in the morning? She smiled faintly. [/blockquote][/color]

Peanutdrift calmly and clearly explained the situation about the kit he had found. "I gave Robinkit--the name I decided to call her for the meantime--to Pastelsky for her to nurse. That way, the kit could be strengthened enough for us to determine what to do with her. I believe it would do both she-cats good, since the kit was abandoned and Pastelsky lost a tomkit," the massive tom explained. His tail waved side to side. "What do you think about this?" He tilted his head towards his leader.

"No no no no no no no!" Lavenderkit protested, whirling around to poke her brother again. "Look! There's - there's - there's another kit in our nest!" Lavenderkit stared in awe at the tiny new cat. She was much, much younger than Lavenderkit herself and had a soft, down-like pelt. "Mama, who's this?"
"Timberkit's right, Lavenderkit," mewed Pastelsky softly. "You should be sleeping." the brown tabby queen nudged her kit into a sitting position, but she knew that the hyperactive Lavenderkit would never sleep now. "This," she continued, laying her tail on Robinkit's shoulders, "is your new sister, Robinkit." [/blockquote]

Timberkit grunted irritably and swatted his sister over the head, but when his mother said new sister, he blinked and turned his head. The broad-shouldered tomkit shoved past Lavenderkit and goggled at Robinkit. "Robinkit? That's a pretty name. Did you choose it, Mother?" he questioned, lifting his head towards Pastelsky. As he waiting for his mom's response, he hunkered down next to the young fae. "'Lo!" he said, waving a paw at her, but soon realizing that she was probably asleep, he laid down next to her and began snoring again.

Robinkit had thought she was dreaming...but for only a few seconds. She lifted her small coffee and cream head and peered at the cat sitting next to her. She listened to him snore obnoxiously and getting annoyed with the horrendous thunder, she prodded him with her paw, "Could you stop snoring so loud, I'm trying to sleep."
ooc//I know it's small and for description of her head is very cheesey xD

Timberkit grunted and rolled over, completely ignoring his nestmate. He yawned wearily and snuggled against his mother, his long fur creating a beautiful covering for him to sleep under. His muscles flexed, his leg extending and showing his tiny foot stretch out like the webbing of a duck's foot.

Jasminestar thought for a moment. Serenityclan always needed more warriors. This kit could be useful. The kit sounded young, so she would be more of a part of the clan if she had been older. The young leader closed her eyes, and then nodded at Peanutdrift. Sounds good. Our clan will always need warriors. Now, please take me to meet this future warrior. I'd like to see her before she officially joins Serenityclan. Jasminestar gave Peanutdrift a small smile, before stretching again. [/blockquote][/color]

Peanutdrift nodded and turned around, the massive tom's gait carrying him back to the nursery. He turned his head towards Pastelsky's nest. "Pastelsky, Jasminestar is here to see Robinkit," he said quietly.
At the word Jasminestar, Timberkit sat up as if he had been thrown onto a hedgehog. "Jasminestar?!" he squeaked. The fluffy tomkit blinked his beautiful jade orbs and prodded Lavenderkit. "Look! Look!" His jaw dropped his awe of the leader's presence. And she was here to see his mother and Robinkit!? What an honor!

Robinkit's eyes widened as large as a full moon, turqoise waves shown in her newly opened eyes as she stood shakily, looking up at the large she-cat. Robinkit gulped and stuttered, "Hi... I'm... Ro...bink...kkkit..." Robinkit wrapped her fluffy snowy tail around her body and sniffed the air, Would there be any other new cats that would startle her? She wondered. She stealthily traveled behind Timberkit and poked him in the side with a paw, "Who's that?" A cool breeze brought a floating oak leaf into the den. It settled on her mottled head.

"Ooooooh!" squealed Lavenderkit as her brother prodded her. She chased her tail around in circles, not tired at all anymore. Her lithe body collapsed after two or three circles, but she looked up dizzily as not to miss her leader.
Pastelsky purred at her kit's awe and she dipped her head to her leader. She flashed an emerald gaze at Lavenderkit and Timberkit, motioning for them to do the same. She watched her newest kitten move behind Timberkit and knew that he would make a great older brother to her. As Robinkit spoke, though, she turned two wide eyes on her. "You really are a bright kit," she commented, then looked back at Jasminestar. Wasn't Robinkit too young to be speaking? But as always, her motherly love washed away all worry and uneasyness. "Jasminestar, this is Robinkit."[/blockquote]

Jasminestar trudged after Peanutdrift, yawning. As soon as she entered the nursery, she could hear gasps. She chuckled a little at the kits. They seemed so hyper and happy. She bounded forward to meet them, her sleepiness forgotten. Hullo, kits! She stopped when she saw the new kit. Pastelsky and Peanutdrift said her name was Robinkit. How cute, she murmmered. She greeted the kit directly. Hello, Robinkit.

The tomkit turned to glance at Robinkit. "That's Jasminestar. She's so cool! She's the leader of our Clan, SerenityClan," he whispered. Timberkit turned back to face the pretty leader of his Clan, bright green glowing in awe. However, the kitten kept quiet when she spoke to Robinkit. He stepped to the side so that his new sister could come forward.

Jasminestar turned to Timberkit, who sat quietly to the side. His comment made the young leader smile. Whenever she came to the nursery, she felt like a kit again. While she hadn't come to clan until she was of mid-apprentice age, she felt as if she had been clan-born. Feeling a little giddy, she batted a small tortoiseshell paw at the tomkit. C'mon, Timberkit! She smiled brightly. Sometimes she herself wished to have kits, but she knew that would never be. Jasminestar was too loyal to break such a sacred rule. The Serenityclan leader thought of the Eclispeclan leader, Amethyeststar, who had broken the rule and bore kits anyway. She wasn't sure how the leader had been able to lead her clan and care for kits at the same time, but she seemed to have managed it. That was many moons ago. But Jasminestar thought of the kits of her clan as her own, in a way. [/blockquote][/color]

Timberkit blushed shyly as Jasminestar spoke to him but when she spoke in a playful manner, the little fluffy tomkit grinned boyishly and jumped at the tortoiseshell paw she had batted at him. The brown kitten mewed loudly in his version of a battle cry and "scratched" Jasminestar's foreleg. "Rawr! I am the strongest cat in SerenityClan: Timberstar!" he declared in his deepest, most diabolical laughter...which was probably the highest Peanutdrift could go! "Fear me! Bwahahaha!"

"Hey, what about me-e-e?" protested Lavenderkit poutingly. "I wanna be Lavenderstar!" Unlike her brother, she gave no care that this older tortoishell playing with them was in fact the leader of SerenityClan. She batted at Tiberkit's side, making a mock hiss that shounded more like a scared mouse's cry. Swiftly she swiped at his ear with claws scheathed. [/color][/blockquote]

"You can be my deputy," Timber'star' replied. "Or you can be like Runningcloud and become a medicine cat after you've been deputy." He grinned broadly. "Lavenderdream, my medicine cat and deputy!" he called out, wagging his broom-like tail. He then turned to Robinkit and Jasminestar, completely forgetting about the business between the two of them in his insistence to play. "Unless you want to be deputy or medicine cat, Robinkit, Jasminestar? Robinkit, you should see our medicine cat, Runningcloud. She's the coolest. She's been deputy and then she gave that up just to be a medicine cat!"
Peanutdrift laughed out loud. "Runningcloud would blush that you're praising her so much, Timberkit. He's always talking like that, Jasminestar," the massive tomcat nodded to his leader. "Well, farewell kits, Pastelsky, Jasminestar. I must be off to do some patrol." He nodded to each kit and then dipped his head politely to the two femmes before exitting.

Jasminestar laughed playfully. Ha! Timber'star', Lavender'star'! She batted at them gentlely, "trying" to defend herself against Timber'star's hit. You'll both be great warriors, maybe even great leaders someday. She patted the siblings at the same time with her two front paws. Trying to not leave Robinkit out, she added, And if you train hard and learn the warrior code, young kit, you shall be a great warrior, too. She smiled. To Timberkit's question, she said, I would love to stay and play, kits, but I have duties to attend to. Jasminestar leaned toward Pastelsky, to whisper. I trust that you'll teach this new one the warrior code, as you have done so for your own kits?, she said in a serious tone. [/blockquote][/color]
