Paintedeyes smiled, "Of course I will! And none of me stories are borin', ye know that!" He turned to stare at Timberkit again, "Well, since yer sister's run off, can ye tell me what story ye want to here when ye get finished?"

((I know, but Pastelsky doesn't have a Hopekit xDDDDD. Freekit, Lavenderkit, and Timberkit))
"I don't fall asleep!" Timberkit pouted comically, batting his paw at Lavenderkit's tail as she ran off to Peanutdrift. Hearing a question directed at him, the broad-shouldered tomkit grinned broadly. "Hmmm...how about the stories about Silverpelt and StarClan! Mom likes to tell those!" He bounced around for a moment before turning back to the elder. "What's it like? Well, it's cold, but the sun's out and there aren't a lot of clouds. The trees don't have leaves." The tomkit turned and thought about for a moment. "Anything else?"
Peanutdrift chuckled at Lavenderkit. "That's a good, strong girl for me. How about you help me pick up the big pine branches to cover the hole with?" The broad tom picked up a piece of pine and acted as if he was struggling with it. "Help me, Lavenderkit!" he mock-moaned.

Paintedeyes nodded as the kit explained what today looked like. He imagined rthe green trees colourless and leafless. He imagined a dull yellow sun and a bright blue sky with very few clouds. "Thank ye, Timberkit. OK, so, Silverpelt and StarClan, 'ay? I know a few."

Lavederkit smiled broadly, her eyes sparkling and her tiny whiskers twitching. "I'll save you, Peanutdrift!" she meowed happily, grabbing a branch between her teeth and tugging hard.

A small, fluffy shape lay curled up in the nursery, her eyes open a slit. She heard a commotion going on around her, but she didn't respond. She planned to surprise her littermates, like she usually did every morning. She was quite the hyper kit, and sometimes she felt like it was her job to keep her brothers and sisters on funny. She heard her family move outside, and she heard laughter and loud talking. She knew it was time for her to get up. She opened her eyes and uncurled her small body. She brushed her father-like-daughter pelt, and crept toward the entrance. She counted silently in her head. One, Two, Three... [/blockquote]

Clearpool laughed as Peanutdrift 'struggled' with a piece of pine. "Thank goodness you are here Lavenderkit, i dont know what we would of done without you" she said with all seriousness, though there was a humerous twinkle in her clear blue eyes. She picked up a bit of pine, careful to make it smaller than Peanutdrifts and Lavenderkits bit. "C'mon then, lets go and patch up that hole in the wall!" she said and began walking slowly to the nursery. "You'll need to be careful Lavenderkit, Peanutdrift isnt very strong, he moght not make it all the way to the nursery" she said with a small laugh and a wink at Peanutdrift.

"YAY!" Timberkit exploded in eagerness, hopping around Paintedeyes happily before settling down. He smelled his sister and twirked his nose, lowering himself down to his belly before sprinting in the direction of the nursery. "FREEEEEEEKIT!!!!!"
((>.> Bacon is rubbing off on me))
Peanutdrift nodded and tried hard not to grin at Clearpool's jest. "She's right. I should be an elder," he shook his head in an act of faux-despair. Then again, with his past, many believed that he wouldn't survive, or if he did, he would just stay in the elder's den until he had the inner-strength to kill himself. Peanutdrift wasn't an ordinary warrior. It took guts to live like he did.

((LOL, nice Aurrers))
Paintedeyes chuckled as he heard Timberkit yell playfully. He lied down, eavesdropping on Peanutdrift and Clearpool's conversation. One advantage of bein' blind, ye have excellent hearin'

Alarm flashed through Freekit. I've been discovered! No matter, she thought, she could pull it off. As her brother, Timberkit, raced toward the entrance, she crounched. Then, and the last moment, she sprung out in the 'doorway' and screamed loudly. Haha! She laughed. I've found you! She leapt and aimed for Timberkit's belly, to tickle him. She was smiling all the while.

"Nooooo!" Timberkit moaned, knocking onto his back by Freekit as his sister tickled him fiercely. The broad tom fell back, giggling madly. "No! No! Stop! Stop! Don't tickle me!" Tears formed in his eyes from laughing so hard as his sister's antics as he rolled on the ground. He hastily rolled onto his paws and ran to his mother. "Mom! Freekit's tickling me!!"

Freekit began laughing. She tickled her brother harder, if that was possible. Her whole body shoke, and she barely managed to keep control of herself. But then Timberkit managed to run away. So Freekit ran after him, squealing. I've got you! You can't hide from me, the Tickle Monster! [/blockquote]

"Freekit! If Timberkit doesn't want to be tickled, don't tickle him." Tickle. There was a word Pastelsky hadn't used in a long time. Her meow was sharp, but she smiled and purred at her kit's playfulness. Luckily, with three kits as jumpy as hers, SerenityClan may someday have three great warriors. The brown tabby queen never really got lonely in the nursery - she got to watch Mouseclaw's kits grow up and learn about being strong warriors. Pastelsky licked Tiberkit's fluffy pelt, smoothing it out. She did the same to Freekit.
Lavenderkit laughed, completely unknowing about Peanutdrift's past. She pulled harder, purring happily. [/blockquote]

Timberkit mewed at Freekit poutingly and batted at her paws, but at his mother's comforting licks, his spiky feelings were soothed and the tomkit fell alongside Pastelsky, thinking that he could never have a better mother than this. She cooked, she cleaned, she even took care of him with the only password being I love you. What more could a guy want?
"You better not be so babyish when you get onto the field, Timberkit," came a gruff voice. Runningcloud's broad ginger frame stepped out lumberingly as she neared the gentle family. She turned a tiny smile and nod to Paintedeyes before turning to Freekit, Timberkit, and Pastelsky and sitting down to groom herself. A faint smell of thyme and cloves wafted from her, a homey smell, a SerenityClan smell.
Timberkit's emerald eyes widened and his jaw dropped in awe. "Mom...," he said, patting her repeatedly. "Who is that...and how does she know my name?"

Paintedeyes caught the scent of Runningcloud, "Now, Runningcloud. Ye know I can't see that nod." The senior warrior chuckled, "So, how 'ave things been going fer the medicine cat of SerenityClan?" he asked, turning his head to face Runningcloud and grinning handsomely.

"It's a habit, " Runningcloud returned dryly, turning her head to Paintedeyes. The broad-shouldered femme chuckled. "And you know I do it whenever I come near you, just to see if you are on your guard." The ginger she-cat smiled, resting her tail against the elderly tom. "Medicine life, you ask? Ah, it's fine. Out of business except for seeing if Octoberlies is recovered and how Pastelsky and her kits are, plus any wounds from Chaosfire's tyranny." She sighed. "How's elder life going?"

Paintedeyes grinned, "Fine, fine, if I may say. I've been telling many stories these past few moons. Seems the lot of 'em can't get enough. Runnin' out of stories if ye ask me." The tomcat turned his head to give his shoulder a few licks.
((Apparantly Paintedeyes has become an elder O.O eh, oh well ^___^))

Runningcloud smiled. "I think, at that point, you simply make them up as you go," the medicine cat said softly, pausing to groom herself as well. She turned her gentle smile to Timberkit, who pressed against Pastelsky. He blinked his bright-green eyes at her shyly, peeking out hesitantly. At that, Runningcloud let out a booming laugh. "Get out here, young man. I only demand that rogues be afraid of me," the femme called, pulling Timberkit out by the scruff and nuzzling him. Timberkit mewed and batted her ear. Runningcloud pushed him over with one broad paw before turning to Pastelsky. "You've got a strong-shouldered son. He could be deputy one day," the former deputy said, dipping her head to the queen.

Paintedeyes chuckled, "Then what would be the point of telling 'em if they're made-up?" He lifted his head high and sniffed the air again. Then he turned to face Pastelsky, "Ma'am, I hope ye don't mind, but I was wonderin' if ye and yer kits would like ter come on a walk with me. I've been meanin' to get out of camp fer awhile now, maybe we can catch some fresh-kill on the way, too, I think the kits would like that."

Clearpool walked into the nursery with the others following her. Lifting her piece of pine she pushed it firmly to the hole, overlapping it with other bits to make sure it stayed securely in place. She moved out of the way to make room for Peanutdrift to place his bit on the remaining gap of hole in the wall. "So is that all the dens patched up? Or do we still have some to do?" she asked, her clear blue eyes shining clearly into Peanutdrifts orbs as she asked the question.

The mottled tom nodded. "Yes, I believe so," he said as he dismounted his place atop the den. The large tom shook his pelt and lifted his gentle green eyes to Clearpool. "Thanks for helping me," Peanutdrift said courteously, dipping his head to his deputy. His cheeks and ears warmed at the sight of her. "I...was wondering if we could talk later, perhaps during a hunt." His smile was addicting, piercing its target with a bolt of hot fire to the heart.

Clearpool looked up with interest as Peanutdrift mentioned going hunting. Her clear blue eyes softened when she looked into his gentle green ones and his smile made her feel warm from the tip of her ears. to the tip of her tail. "Yes, that would be good. When would you like to go, it can be whenever" she said, turning around to leave the nursery, as Pastelsky might want to be alone with her kits and her and Peanutdrift were taking up quite a lot of room. She turned round after she had exited, searching the mottled tom for a response with her blue eyes.

Pastelsky laughed quietly, watching Runningcloud inspect Timberkit. "Of course he could," she meowed encouragingly. The striped tabby turned to Paintedeyes as he spoke in his rough but loving way. "I suppose, as long as they don't go far," she replied. "I wonder where Lavenderkit's gone off to..." she trailed off worriedly like only mothers know how. [/blockquote]

His smile broadened as he exited the nursery, his white, brown, and black frame rolling like a mountain range. Peanutdrift looked thoughtful for a moment and then looked down at Clearpool. "The willows," he finally said. "I enjoy that place very much." His sincere tone extended to his tail and eyes before he lifted his maw to Paintedeyes and Pastelsky.
"I am going to take my leave. StarClan's blessings to all of you," Peanutdrift said piously, smiling at the queen and her kits before turning away to the deputy. "How about this afternoon? You did say that you had to talk to Jasminestar and I'm in great need of a nap."

Clearpool nodded at Peanutdrift as he turned away to go to the warriors den for a nap. "Yes, i will try and talk to Jasminestar at some point about the vereminies before then and this afternoon sounds very good" she said with a smile that lit up her whole face, creasing around her eyelids where two blue pools full of kindness gazed out to the handsome mottled tom she was speaking with. She dipped her head in farewell to him and trotted over to Jasminestars den. "Jasminestar? Are you awake? Its Clearpool" she called from outside and then sat down a tail length away to give herslef a groom while she waited to see if her leader replied or not.
