_{The bulky she-cat was slower than the nimble apprentice but that was what saved her from the majority of that move. Runningcloud grunted as Hyenapaw's attack flung her backwards. She landed hard on her back, shaking her head to clear the stars before rolling aside to dodge any additional attacks the apprentice threw at her. Pausing a bit to catch her breath, Runningcloud's light-green eyes darkened with battle mirth. She grinned toothily and wriggled her shoulders and hips. Her muscles clenched, sending her into a powerful tackle that she lunged for Hyenapaw with. The medicine cat aimed to bowl him over, hoping she was quick enough to land the attack true. "Your intent is excellent, but you lack the strength to enforce your meaning," she instructed the apprentice. "When you attack, picture every attack as if it's your last. Put your whole strength into a defensive attack if you're facing an oppenent you know nothing about, but use your instincts. If the situation calls for little force, do not use a lot of force.
