Jasminestar nodded at Morninghawk.
She ducked away from the medicine cat den, and headed toward Brindletalon.
She ended up beating two rogues off.
Brindletalon, go to Brightclan!
I'm sure they will agree, being under new leadership and all.
Now go, and be careful!
Right as she finished, a rogue ran at her, screaming,
and bowled her over.
She kicked at it's stomach, and it flew up in the air, and landed on another rogue.
She smirked, and tackled another rogue.
Somehow, this rogue slithered underneath her,
and then leapt on her back.
She ran in circles trying to get it off.
But it had a claw hold, and kept digging it's claws further and further into her back...

Bic: Foxtail looked around at the swirling chaos around her. She thrust herself into the middel of the rogues, fighting teeth and claws, fast as lightning. She gained many scratches but didn't feel them in the heat of the battle. Suddenly, she was in front of Chaosfire, their so called leader. She slashed viciously at her face, then crouched low to the ground, shielding herself from attack. |

Chaosfire finally pulled herself out of the pile of Serenityclan cats. She charged at Jasminestar and leaped onto her spine, and bit.
Snowflake smashed her paw into the nose of a rogue, that hollered and bolted out of the camp.
Two rogues approached the nursery and leaped onto the queens.

Jasminestar whipped around as Chaosfire leapt on her back.
She quickly rolled over and pushed Chaosfire to the ground.
Then, she leapt up and stood swaying in front of her.
She yelled at the top of her lungs.
Serenityclan will win this battle! We will not be defeated!
Then, she ran forward and hit Chaosfire square in the chest.

"SerenityClan! SerenityClan!" Runningcloud screeched, echoing Jasminestar's battle cry. The ginger she-cat slammed headfirst in the female rogue Mouseclaw was fighting. The deputy hissed furiously, hawk-like claws yanking into the rogue's face. Flesh was ripped away and blood splattered Runningcloud in her face. "Tell your brethren SerenityClan humiliated you," she snarled, kicking the rogue in the belly before halting next to Mouseclaw. "Excellent work, Mouseclaw," the deputy said, nodding in rare approval.
She panted heavily, looking around. "I know you're on your last leg before flopping down in exhaustion but help Octoberlies defend the nursery, please..." Runningcloud didn't wait for Mouseclaw's answer before bounding off like a hare to the medicine cat's den. "Emberpaw! Emberpaw, are you alright?" she exclaimed worriedly, pausing as a calico rogue shot towards her. "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" Runningcloud exploded, ramming her claws down the rogue's throat in an attempt to strangle her. Talons scrabbled at her forelegs as she forced the calico to the ground. Finally, the calico's face turned a sickly shade of blue and purple. Runningcloud turned around, wincing from the fresh wounds on her fur. Thank StarClan for hair, Runningcloud sighed. The calico had mostly clawed that off in an attempt to force the deputy to let her go. Thorn-like injuries were the only things on her arms from that struggle.

Mouseclaw panted, nodding at the deputy with exhaustion showing in his eyes. And happiness, too, that he was given an easier job. He took a deep breath and leaped to his friend's aid, standing beside Octoberlies and Pastelsky. "I'm here to help." He said breathlessly. His face was badly torn but had stopped bleeding so badly, although the new scratches on his flank bled profusely. He was feeling weak and lightheaded, but he knew the battle would end soon. BrightClan were going to join in. He hoped.
A dark brown tabby rouge slunk around the sides of the camp until he reached the nursery. He sped at the nursery at full speed. He was large and daunting, a fair match for Mouseclaw. At least when he was fully recovered. But now, he was weak. And the rouge pinned him down, clawing at his chest. He roared in pain and writhed beneath the weight, scrathing the tabby badly and ripping out clumps of fur. He bit into the rouge's neck, only getting fur and drawing little blood. The other cat screeched but leaped off of him. Through a mouthful of fur, Mouseclaw wailed to anyone that would help. "Help!"

Pastelsky hissed at the rouges threatening the nursery, scratching at the ones Cherrysmoke and Hyenapaw were fighting. She was beginning to sink her teeth into the flank of a small white rouge, but hearing Mouseclaw's cry she froze. The she-cat she had been fighting fled, and Pastelsky darted to Mouseclaw's side and bit down into the brown tabby rouge's shoulder. [/center] |

Chaosfire laughed. She was insane. There was no way she would lose to Serenityclan. "I will never lose to you scum!" She cried. Chaosfire recoiled as she was hit in the chest but swatted back nonetheless.
Snowflake leaped onto the back of another rogue, but the rogue was too quick. It threw her off and leaped at her. Snowflake fell under the rogue as it bit and scratched her.

Octoberlies yowled in fury as Chaosfire leapt at him. The grey tabby gritted his teeth in pain as the she-cat's sharp foreclaws met in his back. Octoberlies lashed out with a forepaw, rolling over in an attempt to dislodge the she-cat. As he felt her grip loosen, he wrenched his body free and slashed at her belly. He wheeled around, panting. He was bleeding from his shoulder and flank. A tabby and white rogue threw herself at him, and Octoberlies met her in screeching fury.
Hyenapaw breathlessly thanked Runningcloud, turning to survey the clearing. He shook blood out of his eyes, jumping away as a grey and white rogue loomed over him. Hyenapaw lashed out at the rogue's face, drawing blood. He ducked a blow from the tom's paw and sank his fangs into the rogue's tail. He watched as Brindletalon ran for help, wincing from a blow on his cheek. Hissing, he jumped at the grey and white rogue, eyes flashing green fire.
Cherrysmoke dashed through the writhing bodies and spread her lithe body over the entrance to the nursery. Her blue-green eyes burnt with fury as he beat back a black rogue. She turned, wincing as a ginger tabby rogue raked her claws down the queen's nose. Cherrysmoke tried to push the heavier cat away, but the rogue pinned her. Cherrysmoke's eyes clouded with fear and anger as the ginger rogue preapared to strike. She let out a desperate yowl for help, struggling fiercely. |

Mouseclaw helped Pastelsky, leaping up as the rouge howled in pain. He but hard onto the rouge's leg, sending him up and scratching. He missed. He tried to fling Pastelsky off, and Mouseclaw leaped onto his back, claws digging mercilessly. The rouge roared and flung him off. He rolled in the dust, sprining to his feet as soon as he could. With Pastelsky by his side, he knew he could bring the rouge down.
He heard Cherrysmoke's cry, and even though he hesitated to leave Pastelsky with the deadly rouge, leaped to her defense. He boweled the black rouge over, off of his Clanmate, and bit hard into its shoulder. The rouge yowled at him furiously and raked at him, but Mouseclaw was already at the rouge's other side, clawing at his flank. Finally, the black rouge spat at him and sped off, dissappearing into the fray of battle.

Chaosfire aimed one more slash at Octoberlies, meeting him in the chest.
Snowflake couldn't rid of the giant rogue on her. "Help!" He muffled scream tore through the clearing.

The young ginger and white apprentice's usual pale hazel orbs, were paler than usual, dull and sad, as she heard the many help cries of her clanmates, yet she felt helpless. She ached to join the others.. even Hyenapaw, an apprentice like her was fighting, but she had to remind herself that he had been training longer than her, and besides she had to bear the burning pain on her chest. Her eyes were lost and staring nowhere in particular, and her auds ached with the sound of battle and wounded yowls. She was brought back to her sense when Runningcloud spoke to her, and clenching her teeth and exhaling quietly so not to worsen the pain consuming her chest, she did not want to seem weak so she lied evading her gaze. "Yes, I am alright." |

Petalkit slunk back farther into the nursery.
She knew her mother needed help, but there was no way she could help
without getting injured, maybe fatally.
She only whimpered slightly from her position in the shadows.
Mama...mama...
Jasminestar recovered from her hit to Chaosfire.
She watched as Chaosfire slashed at Octoberlies.
She yowled loudly and pushed Chaosfire with a running jump.
She pinned down Chaosfire, but then she lost her strength
and fell to the side, panting.
She tried to claw at her, but only made a scratch.
No...no...

Runningcloud noticed the dodgy glance. "Don't be too hard on yourself. Just keep defending the den like you've been doing," she said to Emberpaw before lunging off towards Snowflake. "Pick on someone your own size, you great gahoot!" the deputy smirked, clamping her fangs onto the large rogue's muzzle. It reared, releasing its grip on Snowflake. Runningcloud lost her footing and the rogue headbutted her in the flank. She yowled in pain, panting as she struggled to her feet. "StarClan, give me strength," she prayed. The orange tabby hissed furiously at the rogue and miraculously, it backed away from Snowflake and Runningcloud. "Get to the nursery!" the deputy ordered the she-cat before charging off to where Foxtail and Jasminestar were fighting Chaosfire.
"Get your mangy claws off our leader, badgerbrain!" Runningcloud screeched, hurdling a small black rogue to lunge after Chaosfire. She knocked the rogue down again but fell to the dirt from the powerful blow. The deputy struggled to rise in front of Jasminestar, but failed. It was up to Foxtail to defend the deputy and Jasminestar now.

Chaosfire reared back, laughing as the leader fell. The scratch she made on Chaosfire felt nothing to her. She aimed for the killing blow, trying to slice her neck.

Jasminestar ducked her head, so the blow hit her on the muzzle.
A big scratch opened up, and she could taste a lot of blood.
She struggled to stand up.
Even...if it takes...all my lives...
I will not...let you...take over...Serenityclan.
She nudged Runningcloud up.
We must fight her.
I know you are tired and worn out, but we can't let Chaosfire take Serenityclan.

"I know," Runningcloud said weakly. The large tabby stood up, orange pelt resembling a sunset sky from the mix of brown, red, orange, gold, and white. The deputy turned to Chaosfire. "I was just made deputy of this clan, and Jasminestar leader. WE WILL NOT LET YOU TAKE IT FROM US. SERENITYCLAN!!" she bellowed the warcry, holding up her flail-like claws. She brought them down on Chaosfire, aiming for the she-cat's face near the eyes.

Chaosfire merely ducked out of the way. The thorn-sharp claws sliced through her fur, nothing else. "You..." She hissed at Runningcloud, "Will never be a strong enough deputy." She flashed out a paw, trying to slice Runningcloud's side open.

Foxtail screeched in anger. This rogue was convinced she could overcome SerenityClan! Well, she wasn't going to let that happen. She snuck up behind Chaosfire through all the screeching and fighting, and jumped cleanly onto the rogue's back. She started raking her needle sharp claws down her sides as hard as she could. No-one would get away with doing that to her deputy and leader! |

Foxtail lay still for a second, winded by Chaosfire. Then, she kicked her hind legs up as hard as she could, and felt the weight of the cat lift. She got up quickly and licked the sore patch of tender skin where the rogue had caught her with her teeth. She then turned back to Chaosfire and made a bite at her neck. |

Saved from Chaosfire's blow by Foxtail, Runningcloud yowled a grateful thank-you to the fighting warrior.
"Where the StarClan is BrightClan?" she hissed, turning to Jasminestar. The large deputy placed a paw on her leader's face. "Are you sure you can fight?" The tabby panted heavily, ignoring the screams around her for the moment.

A rogue leaped at him as he went but he twisted round, clawing at its face until it let go. He ran out of the camp entrance and bolted towards BrightClan. Faster, faster! he thought to himself, willing his legs to move quicker even though the pain was like burning. He galloped over the border and towards BrightClan. The young she-cat gasped in horror and agony as she noticed her never ceasing bright blood. The sharp intake of breath made her wound burn awfully, and she had to sustain a yowl of pain so not to make it worse. "The blood wont stop." She mewed lowly, hoping the medicine cat would have a herb that would help her. Her breathing slowed so it wouldn't hurt as much, her wounded chest, usually a clear snowy white now colored with crimson. |

She said.
So she crouched down, and launched herself at Chaosfire.
She grabbed on to her shoulders, and tried to keep a clawhold.

Mouseclaw stopped briefly, watchin Brindletalon leave, and a surge of strength went through him. He knew that BrightClan would be here soon, and then everything would be okay. Fresh warriors, as fierce as BrightClanners were, would help. He leaped at Chaosfire, seeing her fling his already weak leader to the ground. He tried to pin Chaosfire to the ground, his green eyes gleaming. "No, we won't go down without a fight," He hissed, digging his claws into her chest. "We won't go down at all!"
