Brindlepaw dipped his head to Jasmineflower. He jogged into the apprentices den and shot up to Mousepaw. He prodded him firmly in the side with one paw. "Mousepaw, will you wake up! Snowflake laughed as Octoberlies awoke and ate his herbs. She sat with her tail curled around her paws, watching the progress of activity around the camp.

Mousepaw awoke, yawned, and looked up. Brindlepaw was above him, looking ready for something. Then what the other apprentice had said registered, and he blinked. "W- Ready for.. for what?"

[ooc;] Well, he had kits with a CloudClan cat, who was Hyenakit's mother, but now he's single again.
[bic;] Octoberlies grinned at Snowflake, embarrased at her amusement. He decided to help Brindlepaw awaken Mousepaw. Padding into the apprentices' den after the dappled tom, he grinned at his confused friend. "We're going to the Moonshard," he mewed, deliberate slowly so his friend would understand. Octoberlies looked around, remembering the moons he had spent in this den, play fighting his Mousepaw, Brindlepaw and Pastelsky. He smiled. Good times. |

Mousepaw was fully awake now. He stood and shook the moss off his fur. "Wow, really? Let's go!" Moonshard! Finally! He smiled and waited for Octoberlies to lead the way.

Jasmineflower waited for the cats. When they joined her in the clearing, she pointed to the entrace with her paw.
Time to go! Brindlepaw, give Mousepaw the last herb bundle and lets go!

Octoberlies nudged Mousepaw. "Come on, slow slug!" He grinned at his friend, then padded out to join Jasmineflower. He trotted after her, taking in what his new leader looked like. She was strong and clever; she'd make a great BrightClan leader. Octoberlies sighed. But would she be able to follow up Reflectstar's legacy? The former leadr had been respected throughout the forest - would Jasmineflower be able to commandeer the same respect outside of her own clan?[/clor] |
