Jade green eyes scanned the clearing, and a splotched cat ducked her head down as she tumbled through the thick underbrush. There were few cats in the clearing at this time, and as the sun rose higher in the sky you could notice how blue it was beginning to become, although the horizon was still outlined with red, fading gently to the light blue the rest of the sky was.
She swiftly glided across the clearing, and with one giant leap, she landed perfectly on her paws ontop of the boulder, and call out the familiar sentence,
"All cants old enough to catch their own prey, meet beneath the boulder!" |

Cherrysmoke heard Reflectstar's call from the nursery and lifted her head from its position, resting on her front paws. She pricked up her ears, uncurling and rousing her kits to tell them where she was going. The red-brown queen then shook herself and stretched each limb before padding from the nursery and sitting beside Snowflake. |

Pastelpaw padded into the clearing, her eyes wide.She sat down shyly and turned her emerald gaze to the leader, and then bent down to groom her already beautiful fur. Perhaps she's be given a mentor?

Mousepaw sat patiently under the boulder, near Pastelpaw. He mewed quietly, "D'you suppose we'll get assigned manotrs? I hope mine's Crescentgaze." He watched he groom herself, puzzled. She already was beautiful. There couldn't be anything to do to make her any more stunning. Hewaited for her answer, trying to puzzle out his confised feelings for the little she-cat.

Jasmineflower appeared from the warriors den and sat down in front of the rock in her accustom place. She settled down comfortablely and watched the clanners with curious eyes.
Petalkit, who was curious and nosy, followed her mother out of the nursery.

"I hope so," she whispered back. If she was getting a mentor, she would probably like Snowflake. She had no idea if she had an apprentice or not, but she would be a good mentor. Mousepaw's choice was obvious, his father was a great warrior and Mousepaw seemed to want to be just like him. Really, almost all the apprentices adored him, even Pastelpaw. |

Brindlepaw padded over to Mousepaw and Pastelpaw, hearing them talk of mentors. " I hope i get assigned one too" he whispered, settling down beside them now. "But i dont mind who i have".
ooc: Reflect is it still ok that Brindlepaw has Foxtail for a mentor?

Mousepaw nodded at Pastelpaw, understanding her choice. Snowflake was a noble and fiercely loyal warrior. At Brindlepaw's comment, he nodded again. "Yes, honestly, I don't think it would matter. As long as I got a mentor that taught me everything they knew..." He felt a surge of pride. He would soon have a true mentor, one to take him hunting and teach him to fight. His heart thudded in his chest as he waited for the announcement.[/font]

Reflectstar padded as far forward on top of the rock as she could, without slipping off. She licked down her chest fur, and cleaned her face before continuing. Her brilliant multi-colored fur shimmered greatly, as so did her deep green orbs.
To all you cats that have gathered here today, she raised her voice over the rest of the cats as she continued, We have a few apprentices. Please step forward.
[[Sorry about the lameness of that... I'm sick with a soarthroat staying home from school and sorta had a coughing fit all the way through that. =P]] |

She watched carefully, jade green eyes emotionless, as the few young cats warily walked beneath her. She glared at a small cat, known as Pastelpaw, and carried on with the ceremony.
StarClan, I ask you to look down on these apprentices, and soon enough recognize them as true warriors.
She took a breath, and a stern look at each of the apprentices, then continued,
Pastelpaw, you need to promise to obey all the rules of the warrior code, and understand that there will be severe consiquences if you do not. As long as you do, you shall be known as Pastelsky from now on!
Being the leader of SerenityClan, she quite enjoyed giving ceremonies - especially apprentice to warrior ceremonies. She loved watching their eyes gleam with unexplainable emotion, and it always made her remember the day she became Reflectpool. She remembered the sudden cheering and chanting of her new name had startled her at first, but she got used to it, and finally didn't think of herself as a mere apprentice any longer. |

Cherrysmoke smiled as Pastelsky was made a warrior. "Pastelsky, Pastelsky!" The red-brown queen wondered when her kits would be apprenticed. They had very nearly reached their sixth moon, and she longed to return to the warriors' den. She longed to sleep, eat and share tongues with Crescentgaze, to lay close to him so that his grey tabby flank brushed her's. She sighed. |

Pastelsky. Pastelsky. She chanted her new name over and over in her head. She was a warrior now! Her mind whirrled. But then with a small pang of regret, she remembered all the friends she would be leaving behind- Mousepaw, and Crimsonpaw.... But she could worry about that later. For now, she just wanted to sponge in all her happiness, to keep it forever...
