Runespell ran back into the BrightClan camp at a steady pace, not wanting to tire Leopardflight. He glanced over his shoulder to check if his mate and his brother, Murdercalling, were following. He then dropped his mouse and thrush on the fresh-kill pile and padded over to Sorrowstar's den. He stood at the entrance, kneading the soft grass with his paws. He had to report the SerenityCln apprentice they had found on their territory. But he decided to wait for Leopardflight and Murdercalling to arrive before he did anything. |

Leopardflight bounded after Runespell, and put her mouse and squirrel on the pile. She nuzzled Runespell's fur. 'We'll have to go to Sorrowstar and report the apprentice.' she mewed. |

Runesell licked his mate's golden mottld ear, stroking her soft flank with the tip of his tail. "Yes," he mewed. Turning to face the gloomy entrance of Sorrowstar's den, the tabby mewed hesitantly; "Sorrowstar? Are you there? It's Runespell, Leopardflight and Murdercalling. We have something to report." Recalling the small apprentice slipping through his claws made the fur on Runespell's shoulders prickle. He unsheathed his long, hooked claws and sank them into the grassy earth. |

Bic: Leopardflight made a mental note to herself, to ask if she could move to the nursery quite soon. She padded after Runespell, and halted at the entrance of the den. |

"You did what you thought was right," murmured Runespell, pressing his nose against his brother's patchy muzzle. The tabby tom turned to face the mouth of Sorrowstar's den again, ears twitching impatiently. Was he asleep, or not in there? |

Stormfeather stepped out of Sorrowstar's den. "He's asleep." she meowed, brushing past the young warriors.
Murdercalling smiled at the comfort from his friends and brother.

The grey tom's eyes flickered open. He saw the warriors, and sat up with a yawn, revealing sharp teeth. "Yes?" He mewed, looking from cat to cat.

Runespell, who had been in the nursery watching Mousekit settle in, picked up Sorrowstar's scent and rushed out to meet his leader. The young tabby warrior dipped his head to his leader before mewing; "Well, first of all, Leopardflight, Murdercalling and I went out on patrol and we caught a SerenityCln apprentice on BrightClan territory. We fought him off, and he took no prey." Runespell took a deep breath, then continued.
"Leopardflight gave birth to my litter. Hazelkit, Pecankit, Grainkit and Ryekit,"he informed Sorrowstar, his eyes bright and his voice full of pride. "Then a strange kit turned up. Mouse, she said her name was. Leopardflight is suckling her - for now we've named her Mousekit. She's in the nursery." The warrior gestured towards the thick bramble patch with his tail. |

Sorrowstar watched them with rainy grey eyes, thinking about what they said. He nodded slowly. "As long as nothing was stolen, it isn't that big of an issue. But if it happens again, we'll adress SerenityClan." He paused for a moment. "And about those last two events.... Please accompany me to the nursery immediatly." He stretched, and stood up, padding past Runespell and Murdercalling.
