// That's fine. He could turn up just as Eaglecry is leaving?
Tawnysky spat out a mouthful of feathers and bit into the meat. It sang with the flavours of the forest, making her heart soar. The she-cat chewed quickly and swallowed. The brown and white warrior ate the blackbird swiftly, before sitting up straight and licking her chest with quick, neat licks. The she-cat licked her lips to rid the residue of her meal. Tawnysky then stood, stretching out her scarred limbs that were beginning to seize up. The warrior scraped a hole in the earth, before rolling the bones in. She then patted the mud back over the bones and feathers, flattening the patch with her delicate white paws.
Tawnysky looked up at Eaglecry as he spoke. She blinked her clear green eyes at him for a moment, feeling a little disappointed. Something inside her had wanted Eaglecry never to leave. But she told herself she was being absurd, and he was a MoonClanner. He was right. He had to go. But... Tawnysky couldn't stop herself nodding, a small smile curling her lips. The slender brown and white she-cat shook herself lightly. "Same place?" she mewed. "As long as we stay in the bushes, we should be okay." Tawnysky shivered as a wave of emotion swept through her - excitement and guilt melding into one. The brown and white cat suddenly touched noses with the dark tabby tom, shutting her eyes and blocking out his MoonClan scent.
It just felt so right.

Whiskers twitched as the she-cat suggested the same place, and he frowned. "Tawnysky. We can't meet here. Please, can we meet somewhere where our Clans won't know?" He gave her a desperate look, wishing the two wouldn't be discovered. Besides, they were just friends right now. Eaglecry flicked his tail, and sighed. Or were they more? The question burned his mind, hoping that they were just friends for right now. His body had electrical impulses running through it.
ooc&&. It is short. But I have no muse. -sigh-

Tawnysky bit her lip. Despite her scorn for her clan's border patrols, she knew the tom was right. The brown and white she-cat was stood so close to Eaglecry that their pelts touched. The CloudClan warrior blinked her leaf-coloured eyes a couple of times, then flicked her ears. "What about the neutral territory?" she mewed. "None of the cats there will know us." Tawnysky shivered. To get to the neutral territories, Eaglecry would have to cross the Thunderpath, and she would have to cut through BrightClan territory. But it was worth the risk, wasn't it?
Tawnysky was confused. She had only known the tom for five minutes and he already felt like her closest friend, closer even than Dewstep. This made her feel guilty, but a feeling of excitement washed away this feeling. The she-cat lifted her tail, and stepped back. "You'd better go," she mewed. Tawnysky touched her nose gently to the dark brown tabby's, murmuring; "Bye.." The warrioress stood back to watch her new friend go, her feelings churning like the strongest storm in her eyes.

Skunkkit
They may say That life isn't easy But no one said That life isn't fun! A slight giggle was audible from the bushes, caused by the glee of not being caught. This was none other then the mischievous kit of Midnightlove and Eaglefeather, Skunkkit. This had been his first time sneaking away from camp, and was it exhilarating! He couldn't understand why the warrior code would ban such fun! After all, what was the worst that could happen? His olive eyes were intent on Tawnysky and...who was that other cat? Another Clan, maybe? He didn't care. If he'd get away with something, they'd get away with something too. A fair trade. The giggle came again, though. He couldn't hold it in. The kit loved this. It couldn't get any better! The giggle finally erupted into a roar. He knew he was about to be caught. It was obvious. He didn't care though. And even if he would get punished, he'd do it again. After all, he was Skunkkit![/blockquote]

Tawnysky pricked up her ears, pelt prickling. She was sure she had heard a noise... The warrior whipped around, green eyes flashing like fire. A reel of excuses darted through her brain, swimming in her eyes. The she-cat felt guilt throb in her heart, but she pushed it away. It was nothing. She was just being silly. Tawnysky hissed audibly as a giggle drifted from the leaves, followed by an eruption of laughter. The scarred warrior bounded forward, powerful shoulders pumping, and seized the spy by the scruff.
Tawnysky dropped Skunkkit upon recognizing him. She stared furiously down at the snickering kit, her tail writhing and bristling like an enraged python. "What do you think you're doing?" she said angrily, voice low and tight. "Anything could have happened to you! A fox could've got you, or a badger, or even a twoleg, or a rogue or something! I you completely and utterly mousebrained?" The tirade poured from her mouth easily, soothing the ache of the guilt in her heart. She glared down at Skunkkit, reminding herself how much she despised kits.

Eaglecry had nodded to Tawnysky, then turned, heading back toward MoonClan territory. Of course, his thoughts whirled around the she-cat from CloudClan. He couldn't wait for their next meeting. Wait, had they set a certain date? He turned around, tempted to go back and ask her. But, what if a patrol was near her now? He stood there, tail swaying slowly behind him, and growing quite frustrated. He had better ask her.
He walked slowly, his ears flicking for any signs of CloudClan cats, but getting none. Now, where was she? He crept along slowly now, then came across Tawnysky and ... a kit. Blue eyes watched, but he walked out of the reeds. "Tawnysky. We never did set a certain date that we would meet again," he said softly, laughter shimmering in his eyes. He some-what ignored Sunkit. Kits never did get along well with Eaglecry. They reminded him too much of Fallendove and the kit that he had sent Midnightraven out to kill.

Skunkkit
They may say That life isn't easy But no one said That life isn't fun! His eyes shot wide and he squeaked as he was roughly dragged from his hiding place by his Clanmate. He began to snigger once more, lightly. He was yelled at a lot for his insanity, anyway. This barrage of shouts was familiar to the mischievous kit. She scolded him mostly for endangering himself, though. "But the forest is so fun," he whined, screwing up his face and stamping his feet. "Why does the warrior code say kits can't leave camp? The camp is so boring." He,of course, had not payed much mind to all of the answers the warrior had just thrown at him. Playing with his siblings wasn't enough to entertain him. Anyways, whenever he did, he got yelled at for being too rough. Skunkkit's face was pouty, his bottom lip shoved out, his eyes narrowed and his ears flattened angrily. He wasn't as upset as he looked. And he'd refuse to apologize for leaving camp, because he wasn't sorry about that. The only thing he was sorry for was being caught doing it.[/blockquote]

Tawnysky waved her tail wildly as Eaglecry padded back towards them. Even if Skunkkit didn't mean to, he might well accidentally blurt out that he had seen her with a MoonClanner. The brown and white she-cat breathed out in relief. Skunkkit didn't seem to have noticed Eaglecry. Tawnysky glared at the kit at her paws. She looked over his head and mouthed to him. "Tomorrow." The she-cat then looked back at Skunkkit. She could see their was no point making him apologize; he wasn't sorry. Deep inside her mind she was reminded of herself as a kit. She nudged Skunkkit none-too-gently with her nose, forcing him to walk forward. "Come on, we're going back to camp." The scarred she-cat thought for a moment, then spoke again."And if you're quiet, I won't tell your mother."

Head nodded at Tawnsky's words, and the MoonClan tom turned quickly, disappearing as silently as he had arrived upon CloudClan territory. Thoughts swarmed over the she-cat, as Eaglecry headed back home. He also wondered if that kit had found out about him, and would tell some of the cats back at his camp. Worry reflected in his blue eyes, as he crossed CloudClan border, disappearing from Tawnysky's veiw until the next day.

Skunkkit
They may say That life isn't easy But no one said That life isn't fun! The mischievous youngster furrowed his brows, appearing to really be thinking hard about whether to agree or not. He didn't mind being scolded, but if there was an opportunity to avoid, he'd take it. With a sigh, he spoke. "Okay, I will." He flashed his charming kitten smile and watched the other go. Skunkkit had no clue that Eaglecry had been a trespasser, nor did he care. He just loved the exhiliration of the forest, and he'd do it again if he could.[/blockquote]
