Stormstar leapt onto the Bird's Wing to address his Clan. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Bird's Wing for a Clan Meeting."

Icelily padded over. She sat with her tail curled around her paws, her belly a little big, because she was pregnant.

Cloakedpaw padded over and sat beside his mother.

Midnightsky slunk over and lay down, resting his head on his paws. He was tired.

Eaglefeather padded over to where Stormstar had called the meeting. 'C'mon.' he whispered to Midnight, so glad that his leader had understood.

Halopaw padded into camp, her eyes down. She sat beside her mother, sadly laying her head on the white she-cat's flank. Like a tiny kit she was seeking comfort from her mother. BUt she was aware she would no longer be one of her parents' youngest. She eyed her mother's swollen belly with wonder, before her sorrowful expression returned. She blinked it away, angry at herself, and looked up at Stormstar.
Sunjinx and Ribbonpaw padded out of the apprentices' den, where they had been talking. Sunjinx looked up at Stormstar. Her daughter was fourteen moons old, and ready to be a warrior. Maybe he'd noticed...? Ribbonpaw herself had matured from the kitten she had once been. She was now a beuatiful she-cat. Her legs were long and slnder, her pelt a shimmering, glittering silver. She smiled at Cloakedpaw before sitting beside Sunjinx.
Lemonzest trotted briskly from the nursery, her kits at her heels. Tawnykit padded along demurely, her brown and white fur groomed to perfection. She hoped to become an apprentice today. Lemonzest sat down and her kits huddled against her. THe dark tabby queen wrapped her tail around her kits, trying to forget her sorrow at her mate, Cormorantstar's, death.

Skyfligt padded over to the rock and sat down so that she could see Stormstar properly. She glanced at Eaglefeather and tried to catch his eye but he was to busy with Midnight. She sighed and looked back up at Stormstar. Oh, why didnt she know what to do or how to feel?

Icelily licked her kit's head comfortingly. "I love you, Halopaw," she comforted her daughter.

Crystalkit watched the cats gather, wonder sparkling in her eyes. She barely knew any of the cats standing out there, but it humbled her to watch them. They all seemed to be so caring with each other. She watched as Halopaw sat beside her mother, she noticed Icelily with her pregnant belly. Soon there would be more kits for her to play with! She smiled and kept watching, but didn't dare move from her spot at the mouth of the nursury.

[bic;] Halopaw licked her mother's cheek. "I know. I love you too." The tabby flicked her tail comortingly against Cloakedpaw's flank as he approached them. "Why don't you go and sit with Ribbonpaw?" She suggested. She could tell her brother was fond of the bengal she-cat.
Sunjinx lookd at her daughter with pride in her green eyes. She was a little upset that Silverflame was not here to see his daughter become a warrior, but she knew now that he would come and go. He had a restless nature. Sighing, the ginger and white warrior licked her daughter's cheek. Ribbonpaw shied away. "Mother!" Sunjinx sighed. She was getting old now. She had Riddlemagic and Leopardsway, her older kits, and now Ribbonpaw was becoming a warrior.
Tawnykit noticed Crystalkit, and, dropping her proffensial manner, bounded up to the white kit. "Hi, Crystalkit!" The creamy white and brown she-cat wagged her stumpy tail happily. "I might become an apprentice!"

Cloakedpaw smiled. "all right," he meowed, before padding over to Ribbonpaw. "Hi Ribbonpaw. Mind if I sit here?" He asked.


Icelily smiled at her daughter, licking her head.

"Really?" Crystalpaw asked, her sky-blue eyes big as the full moon the Clans met under. "You're six moons old, right?" Rolling herself over onto her back, she continued to watch the ceremony. "I'll miss you, though." the small kit concluded, still keeping her eyes on Stormstar.

Ribbonpaw shook her head shyly. "No." She sat down beside the ginger tom, her tail curled around her small silver paws. She looked at Cloakedpaw, her liquid blue eyes shimmering with excitement. "I might become a warrior today!" As she looked back over at Stormstar, her eyes narrowed as she spotted Midnight. "Who's she?"
Tawnykit smiled. "I'll miss you, too," she sighed. "Dewkit will as well."

"I sure hope so! You really deserve it," he added shyly. He looked at her, his eyes filled with happiness for the first time in a long time.

Stromstar went on, having many announcements to make. "I have much to say. First, I would like to welcome a new member to our Clan. Her name is Midnight, she is a loner who wishes to join our Clan." He didn't mention that she was mates with Eaglefeather since he was afraid of the Clan hating Eaglefeather, and he was unaware of the number of cats who already knew.

(Should she be a warrior or apprentice? Warrior, probably?)

Sunjinx examined Midnight for a moment, before dipping her head. Her own mate had once been a loner, so she did not seem to mind that another loner was joining CloudClan. Ribbonpaw was of a like mind. She brushed her cheek against Cloakedpaw's. "Thanks," she purred.
Lemonzest narrowed her eyes. "What has she done to prove her worth here?" She knew her point was a fair one. Cormorantstar would never let a loner join the clan without good reason! She shook her head. She had to stay strong, though her chest ached from missing her mate so.
Tawnykit glanced at Midnight. Being an infant, it did not mean much to her if Midnight joined CloudClan. She barely understood that the frmer clan leader had been her father. She just wanted to be a normal kit, like everyone else.
Halpaw shut her eyes breifly, then opened them, with fresh determination in her eyes. "Mother, I think I can get through his," she whispered. "But I vow one thing - I'll never fall in love again."

Ooc: Probably a warrior. It would be very confusing for Eagle if she was an apprentice. xD
Bic: Eaglefeather purred with happiness, and nuzzled Midnight's side. 'You're part of the Clan now! We don't have to hide our love, but I think we should keep it quiet for a while until you get settled in.' he whispered in her black ear.

Cloakedpaw looked at Ribbonpaw. "Want to go hunting later?" he asked.

Icelily looked at her daughter. "I wouldn't vow that so quickly, honey," she rasped her tongue over her daughter's ears.

Ribbonpaw looked at her paws a moment, then looked back up at Cloakedpaw. he felt faintly embarrased. "Sure," her voice was full of shyness, and she let out a nervous giggle before carefully examining her long, silky tail.
Halopaw sighed. "But it only ever leads to hurt," she mewed. "Except with you and and Dad, of course."

[FIREH!!]

"Take a look at Ribbonpaw and Cloakedpaw. Do they look happy? What about Midnightsky and Snowstorm?" She meowed.

"Yay!" He meowed, before blushing and looking down at his paws.

Halopaw snorted. "Ribbonpaw doesn't love Cloakedpaw," her mew was contemptuous. How could two cats love eachother when they barely knew eachother? She looked at her paws. "They can't have a family because Snowstorm's deputy." Ribbonpaw muttered.
Ribbonpaw smiled shyly, before looking back up at Stormstar. "Is he gonna get on with it?" she sighed.

[FIREH!!]

"Are you sure? Because Ribbonpaw and Cloakedpaw seem to really like eachother!" She meowed.

"I know! He's taking forever," meowed Cloakedpaw.

Halopaw looked at her mother. "They've barely known eachother five minutes," she mewed.

[FIREH!!]

"Still... When your father saved me from dying, I fell in love. And I only knew him two seconds." She smiled.

Halopaw scowled. "That was different," she mewed quietly. "Dad saved your life, so you were bound to feel some sort of ffection towards him. Besides, I expect he didn't like you back straight away, did he?" The apprentice was thoroughly confused by all the talk of love and relationships. She sighed. Her mother was right. Cloakedpaw and Ribbonpaw looked so... Right together. Scuffling her paws in he dirt, Halopaw leant against her mother's chest. "I love you, Mum."

Ribbonpaw smled shyly at Cloakedpaw. She had been hos friend before now, but something she felt something had clicked within her. She really liked the ginger tabby tom, now, though he was a couple of moons younger than her. She found herself wondering just what it would be like to raise a family of her own, have kits, and watch them grow up. She was a ginger and white tom, a silver bengal tom, and a ginger tabby she-cat, in her mind's eye. Her kits. Cloakedpaw's kits.

Icelily rubbed her cheek against her daughter's. "I love you too," she murmured.

Cloakedpaw was imagining the same thing as Ribbonpaw was. The young kits, padding around, playing. It was his and Ribbonpaw's. He smiled shyly back at her.

Stormstar went on. "Midnight, from this moment on, you shall be known as Midnightlove, and we welcome you as a member of CloudClan.

"Also, some apprentices are due to be warriors.

"May Ribbonpaw, Cloakedpaw, Halopaw, Flightpaw, and Rushpaw please step forward.

"Ribbonpaw, from this moment on, you shall be known as Ribbontail. We honour your patience and compassion, and we welcome you as a full warrior of CloudClan.

"Cloakedpaw, from this moment on, you shall be known as Cloakedclaw. We honour your loyalty and protectiveness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of CloudClan."

[ooc;] Why? 0-0 It's OK, though. Oh, and by the way, Fireh and I have decided that, since Flightpaw and Rushpaw have no actors, they could've been killed by a fox. So don't bother giving them warrior names.
[bic;]Lemonzest narrowed her eyes at Stormstar. He had let this stranger, his lonr, join CloudClan without even explaining who she was to his clan. Drawing Tawnykit and Dewkit close to her, the dark tabby glared up at her leader. She knew Cormorantstar would have given them the explanatio they deserved. Though she felt a burning dislile towards Stormstar, and refused to chant for Midnightlove, she chanted the nmes of the two new warriors. "Ribbontail, Cloakedclaw, Ribbontail, Cloakedclaw!" she chanted.
Sunjinx chanted softly for her daughter, nudging the silver bengal to her paws. The slender apprentice blinked excitedly at Cloakedpaw, before padding up to the Bird's Wing. She touched her nose to Stormstar's, accepting her new name and position. She then leapt back down, and pressed her muzzle into Cloakedclaw's. "Congratulations."

bic:// Cloakedclaw lifted his head and touched noses with his leader before purring. "And you, Ribbontail," He licked her ear.

Icelily and Minightsky chanted, "Ribbontail, Cloakedclaw!" Several times.

Eaglefeather beamed at his mate's warrior name. 'Midnightlove.' he purred. Then he nuzzled her side gently.

Halopaw cheered on her brother and Ribbontail, then pressed her nose into the ginger tabby's muzzle. "Congratulations," she purred. She looked eagerly up at Stormstar, waiting to recieve her name, but seeing Eaglefeather with Midnightlove dampened her spirits slightly. She knew she had to accept their love now, though she would never like either of them. She sighed.
