Fallenleaf stretched out in the newleaf sun, and licked her chest. She then got up and padded over to the fresh kill pile. 'I'm a cat, I'm a kitty cat, miaow, miaow, miaow, dance, dance, dance.' she sang to herself, the warmth in the air going to the elder's head. |

Skyflight glanced up from the fresh kill pile to listen to Fallenleaf. She held back a giggle and instead said " Fallenleaf, shouldnt you be in the Elders den? Its the apprentices job to bring you fresh kill" she looked at the Elder through concerned eyes, though still sparkling with amusement.

'Oh dear, I don't think it'll kill me to go from one side of the camp to the other.' Fallenleaf took a small mouse from the pile. 'Would you like to eat with me, Skyflight?' she croaked. She started humming to herself again as she waited for the warrior to decide. |

Skyflight smiled. " Yeah sure" she replied and selected a small water vole for herself. She walked over to Fallenleaf. "Where do you want to eat? she asked.

Skyflights giggle was muffled in her kill, thankfully, and she followed Fallenleaf and lay down. The vole smelled delicious and she settoled down to take a bite.

Bic: Fallenleaf had taken two bites of her mouse when Skylight sat down. 'What's so funny?' she mewed, totally oblivious. She was now flicking her tail in time to her little song. |

'Oh good good. Doesn't do anyone good to be sad. Hmm, you know Skyflight, it does get boring being holed up in camp all day. Some cats could go a bit mad if they weren't careful. All I'm saying is don't waste your life while you're young.' she stretched out, having finished her mouse and buried the bones. |

Skyflight smiled. "Yeah, you would have to be strong willed to stay sane." she mumbled, stopping herself from laughing by taking a last huge bite of the vole. She stood up and buried the bones.

Skyflight watched her go with a smile on her face. She would go and visit her later she decided and with that she stood up, shook herself and wandered over to the warriors den.

Skytomb emerged from the medicine cat's den, his nose wet at the tip. It looked like he had caught a cold. The blue-grey warrior purred in amusement and flicked his son on the flank with his tail. "Be more careful, Cloakedpaw." The muscular tom then padded into the warriors' den to see his mate, Icelily. |

Cloakedpaw flushed red in embarrassment.
Icelily purred when she saw her mate. "How are you feeling?" she asked, licking his flank.

Skyflight stumbled slightly but then smiled at the apprentice. "Oh its fine, dont worry about it." she meowed and continued on to the warriors den, flicking Cloakedpaw lightly with her tail on the way past.

Skytomb lay beside his mate, pelt pressed against her oft white side. He purred and licked her ears, enjoying the warmth of the day. He remembred tottering from the nursery on stumpy little legs as Skykit, leaping into the air to try and catch the bright ball of golden light that was the sun before being dazzled by it and retreating, squealing. He remembered scuffles outside the apprentices' den with his friends as Skypaw, and admiring the way the sunlight caught Icepaw's fur and made it shimmer. Skytomb smiled. Life was good. |
