caught in the moment xx
I was named Tama
I was born a tom; male
I've been alive for no moons
I stay loyal to no one
I rank as a kit
It starts out as a word; A whisper in my head;
I was named Tama
I was born a tom; male
I've been alive for no moons
I stay loyal to no one
I rank as a kit
It starts out as a word; A whisper in my head;
body;
Tama is small, as you can imagine. He's only a kit. All kits are like that. But kits that grow up to be large often show signs at a young age. Tama lacks these signs. His signs of growth choose to show themselves in other ways. But even though he appears to be strong, there is no denying the small muscles that hide underneath his fur. He only uses his small strength when necessary, though. He doesn't find fun in playfighting.
fur;
Tama's fur differs great from his two siblings. His fur is the color of what twolegs call chocolate. It looks smooth and creamy, and it makes you wanna touch. His fur is also long and fluffy. All in all, at this stage in his life, he looks like a fluffy chocolate cloud.
eyes;
One way of describing Tama's eyes are, well, complex. His eyes are a light gray color, but there's more to them then their color. A wise person once said that one's eyes are the windows to one's soul. This is very true for Tama. If you look into his eyes, you can see all his emotions, making him not that hard to read.
Then it becomes a phrase; stringing itself along with other small words;
Tama's feelings are like a gumball machine: you never know what color you're going to get. But instead of colors, it's his feelings that seem to pop up randomly when you least expect them to.
To describe Tama, he has two general sides: intelligent and brave. He intelligent side is what he shows that most. Tama is a thinker. He is the type of cat who thinks things through first before acting (in other words, sensible). He is also very poetic. Sometimes he’ll think up little rhymes in his head, but he usually keeps them to himself. He likes to sound intelligent. He might pick up a cool-sounding word from his parents or from a new cat he meets, and try to weave it into a conversation with Dakota or Koda. He sometimes impresses them with his new words, and that makes him happy.
Tama is only brave when necessary. If he and his siblings sneak out of the twoleg yard they live in to explore, it’s Tama that comes to his senses first when a dog free from its twoleg and running toward them. If there is a rogue that comes into the yard while their parents are away, it’s Tama whose instincts tell him to attack that rogue and protect his siblings. But that is only in times of need.
then the lines form; one by one marching along;
Tama’s history, of course, begins with his parents. Tala and Sentres grew up together, from kithood to adulthood. Tala had siblings, but she preferred hanging out with Sentres than with them. Eventually, they moved next door to each other. One time, as young adults, they ventured into the forest not far from their neighborhood. A wild cat from Eclipseclan scared them away. While Sentres longed to go back, Tala was scared. She managed to convince him to stay with her. If she had not done so, he would have run away from his twolegs.
Moons after that. they became mates. It wasn’t unexpected, since they knew each other so well. But it wasn’t until even later that Tala became pregnant. Both were happy about this. There were four kits: two females and two males. The females were named Dakota and Sayilu, and the males were named Tama and Koda. And ever since, they have been a happy family.
verse by verse they whisper to me; my head is spinning with the joy of it;
mother; Tala
father; Sentres
brother; Koda
sisters; Dakota and Sayilu
for now I’ve made; a poem to say;
poison tears crash down
