My Beauty Some say I look like a leopard cub, not a little kitten. With my honey golden body dotted with dark brown, almost black spots I suppose they could be right. These spots smudge slightly, some running into each other and some standing very firmly alone. On my slender tail they all smudge so my tail is almost black, yet you can still see the gold colour underneath. There are no spots on my forehead, just two long, thin dark stripes and a funny furrow, that looks like the letter W. My siblings tease me and say it means witch, as they do not understand my intelligence. I know it means wisdom. The tips of my paws and between my eyes are the only place where this gold lightens into a very light, creamy tan. The insides of my ears and my muzzle are the same pure white, as are my teeth, whiskers and claws. Under my ears there is a tiny hint of ginger in my pelt. My eyes are set a little far apart, green like my mothers but dark like my fathers. They give me a look of knowledge. My nose is small and dark pink, with a hint of rose pink above it. No scars have slashed their way onto my body yet but no doubt there will soon be some.
My Wisdom Everyone says I am intelligent beyond my years, far more developed than a normal kit. You see, I have never wanted to fight with my siblings or play tag and whatnot. I would much rather have a conversation with somebody, my mother, my father, anyone who will give me the time of day and listen to what I have to say. For I will always listen to anyone, no matter how silly or strange. Some say I am quiet, but I am just incredibly deep and you have to work to earn my friendship. "Patience is a virtue", yes I believe in that, you must try your hardest to be understanding of those who may be...less intelligent than yourself. I am told I am enigmatic, and i do not try to be so puzzling or mysterious but it is the way that I am, the way I was born. To try and make yourself clear at times can be very strenuous, especially when your siblings will just not listen to you. But you must always be optimistic, that is what i believe. Why focus on the bad points of life when there must be at least one good thing to focus on. There is even good in some bad things. Take rain for instance. It soaks us all and gives us the chills, but it keeps our water supply going and it helps the forest stay healthy for us to live in. Thus, rain is a good thing, at times. If it rained all the time, however, then it would not be good. Floods and destruction would bring death to many cats. So you cant have too much of a good thing. The last thing about me. I am poetic in my speech at times, it gives one a sense of knowledge and something to think about while your siblings roll about your feet. It is not riddles I talk in, lets make that clear. But if you don't understand then don't always expect me to explain. Poetry can have a deeper meaning than one thinks.
My Story Well, as of yet I am unborn. Meaning that, for the moment there is no story of my life. So I'll tell you about my parents instead.
Brindetalon has not much of a past, he grew up comfortably with both parents and a sister. He quickly made friends throughout SerenityClan, Octoberlies, Snowflake and the both deceased Mouseclaw and Pastelsky, who had been mates.
Crocuspool's life had been a very different story. After her brother had gone out exploring when they were just young kits her father died trying to save him. Her mother was distraught and became a broken cat. After this her mother abused her and her brother terribly, until one night she went too far and Crocupool's brother was killed. The tortoiseshell had tried desperately to tell the Clan deputy what her mother was doing to her but it didn't work. Then her mother acquired a new mate. The cold-hearted tom beat Crocuspool just as her mother did and the femme suffered in silence all the way through her kithood. Finally, she was apprenticed, which she thought would be a relief. How wrong she was. Her mentor was none other than her mothers new mate and instead of training he abused her everyday. After a horrible day where her mother and her mentor had abused her for hours she did not return to camp. She would have died if her mother hadn't come to find her. The sight of her daughters bloodied body seemed to make her snap to her senses and she began to drag her daughter back to camp. But the stench of blood attracted foxes and her mother died fighting them off. Crocuspool was found by a warrior, who became her mentor, and was taken back to camp. She spent a moon in the medicine den recovering and told her leader about her dead mothers mates treachery, which resulted in him being exiled. She still bears disfiguring scars under her pelt.
The two started a mutual friendship, as Brindletalon and Octoberlies drifted apart somewhat after Mouseclaws death and Pastelsky was busy with her litter. Crocuspool had always been quiet and didn't have many friends. Before they knew it their friendship began to develop, though they were the last to realize how in love they were. Crocuspool confessed on the day of the battle with the Tribe of Nightmares and Brindeltalon immediately declared his love for her also. A while later Crocuspool felt her body changing. She went to Runningcloud was shocked to find out she was pregnant. Brindletalon was thrilled at the news but Crocuspool was secretly terrified, owing to her tragic past. Her fear mounted as the birth date loomed nearer but the birth went well and she gave birth to four beautiful, healthy kits. Two she-cats, Fablekit and Spritekit and two toms, Clockit and Hurricanekit.
