Being a 'big boy', Flarewind's body is quite large, mostly muscle than fat. No, Flarewind wouldn't consider himself having any fat on him. His head is the perfect size for his body, not too big, not too small, with medium sized ears. These ears are a bit rounded at the bottom, with their tips being slightly rounded. Not pointy, no, he is not an elf. His ears aren't that furry, only on the outside of them, and even then, the fur is very short. His muzzle is shortened ever so slightly, not long but not squished up onto his poor face. Flarewind's eyes are a mixture of almond and round (would you call this alound?). They are a mixture of colors, mostly golden and green, with the green being small to medium sized fleck within the iris.
You can not really see some of Flarewind's body mass, due to his medium length fur. However, you can tell he has muscles underneath that fur, and that his shoulders are a powerful part of his body. His tail, something he uses as part of his emotions, is somewhere between long and medium length. It is very useful when he is trying to comfort someone, or when he is trying to settle someone down. Wow, he has some long legs. Not really. His legs are shorter than his tail, which they should be. But, they are shorter than normal. They do not hinder his ability to hunt or do anything of that sort, though.
My my, what big paws you have. Yes, his paws are HUGE. Okay, that was an exaggeration, but he has fairly large paws. These also help him with hunting. No, they do not make him some clumsy tom who scares away the prey around him. They are white, considering the white extends the length of his legs. His claws are fairly short, due to him climbing trees and them being worn down a lot. They are sharp, however, so he can do just that, climb trees. The claws are a clear-white color, but turn darker when they are dirty.
Flarewind's base coat color is white. This covers his whole body, even his paws, ears, and face. Upon the white, splotches of orange appear. These are more frequent on his back, and a few on his face. The ones on his face are on his chin, above his right eye, extending up between his ears, and down to his back. This also happens to his left side of his face, above his eye. This orange merges with the orange from the right eye, that extends down to his back. There is also a small mark of orange by the tom's right nostril. Upon the white and orange, are a few black splotches. One main black spot is on the right side of his face, from his cheek, up to the bottom of his right eye, to his ear, back to his neck, then back to his cheek. A large circle of black hair. There are a few black spots on his back, smaller than the one on his face. Upon his body, there are a few scars. One major one is scar(s) is across his face. They drag down from his left eye, to his nose. This was caused by Mystique, after the two fought on SerenityClan territory. A few scars line his shoulders, legs, and his face. There is a slight tear in his left ear, from when he was a kit and disappeared from the camp. His coat helps him when there are bitter leaf-bares, since it is thick.

To summarize Flarewind. He is loving, to those he cares about, to kits that are his or adopted by him and his mate. He is caring, to his Clan, to those who have been injured, or to those who just need a shoulder to lean on. He is supportive of anyone's decisions, unless it is to end their life, or end someone else's life. He can be angry (see below to see what angers him). He is loyal to those who are higher up in rank, never to break someone's trust or tell someone's secret to anyone. He is respectful, to those who deserve it. Flarewind can be a trouble maker, when he gets too bored to find something to occupy his time. He is patient, sometimes too patient. And all these he got from Aurorapelt and Eagleclaw.
Now, yes, all cats have an angry side. And Flarewind has a DANGEROUS one. So, beware. When he gets angry, his tail will snap quickly in the air, and you'll see how angry he is within his eyes. Caution, to those who are pranksters. There are a few things that will make him lose his cool. Those would be cats who don't mind their own business, apprentices who do not do as their told, cats who think he should do everything in the world, those who think they are better than anyone else, rogues, loners, and kittypets who wander onto Clan territory, and won't leave, cats who disrespect the leader, apprentices who annoy the crap outta you. Those things. So, better not fit yourself into the list, or you will have an enemy instantly.
Oh, happy happy, joy joy. Flarewind seems to be constantly happy. His emotions will be shimmering with his eyes, and his tail will be flicking a lot if he is in a happy mood. He is usually talkative when happy, as well. Though, this happy mood can change as quickly as the weather, so watch out for signs of his tail to stop swaying, and the light in his eyes to disappear.
What a sad story. This tom does have his sad spurts, and when he is sad, those golden-green eyes of his show it. It is usually not wise to approach Flarewind when he is down, due to the fact that he can snap at you at any moment. His tail will not be flicking, but rather wrapped around him if he is sitting down. His mood can be lifted, however, if you were to just sit down and talk to him about what is wrong. If he changes the subject on you, it means he doesn't want to talk about it anymore because it is a touchy subject.
He is very respectful to his Clan members, and those of higher rank. Of course, he is loyal as well, never to break the warrior code. He's followed it his whole life so far, and will continue to do so. Even if he is in StarClan. Flarewind is a sweet-natured tom, always hanging out with whom-ever is close to him. He loves to check on kits and queens within the nursery, hoping one day to have a family of his own. Usually, he can be found sunbathing out in the camp, due to his love of the sun.
When you first meet Flarewind, he will usually just stare at you, trying to figure you out. Do initiate the start of a conversation or something, because he will not do it. He is not chicken, he just doesn't start conversations with cats he does not know. Unless they need comforting of some sort. He is known to be shy around newer cats, and withdrawn. This is from not being around a lot of cats when he was younger.

Aurorapelt and Eagleclaw. Two very different cats. But opposites attract, do they not? They met when they were apprentices, while training with their own mentors. They vowed to be together through thick and thin, and finally, when each gained their warrior names, they became mates. Everyone knew it was bound to happen sometime, and the Clan was glad it did. They were, as some would call, the perfect couple. Eagleclaw, and his black and white coat, and Aurorapelt, with her calico body. It was as if StarClan destined them to be together. Moons passed, and finally, the news spread around SerenityClan that Aurorapelt was expecting kits.

Everything was normal about Flarekit coming into the world. The Medicine Cat was there to help, along with some of the other queens who already had kits. Aurorapelt loved her kits dearly, each and every one of them. Flarekit had two other siblings, two sisters. Poor him. His mother named them Eveningkit, because they were born as the sun was going down, and Silentkit, because she was very quiet, unlike Flarekit and Eveningkit.
T h e D e a d O n e s ;;
The Medicine Cat predicted that one of Aurorapelt's kits were not going to make it within the next week, because cases of Greencough were sweeping through the other Clans. And, he was right. Silentkit died three nights later, and it sent Aurorapelt into a depression. This depression soon took hold of Flarekit's mother, and cost her her life. His father was strong enough to not let these deaths get to him, but sometime later, when Flarekit was going to be made into a warrior, he too lost his life.
K i t h o o d ;;
After the death of his mother, he was fostered by a kind, young she-cat by the name of Dappledflower. She had two other kits of her own, one having died of Greencough at the same time as Silentkit. Dappledflower made sure that Eveningkit and Flarekit grew up to be healthy and strong, hoping they wouldn't catch Greencough like their sister had. Flarekit grew fairly quickly, his coat shaggy while being a kit. He got into a mess of trouble, from leaving the nursery, to actually leaving the camp and exploring through SerenityClan's territory. It had been his father who had found him out there, and Eagleclaw was quite angry with Flarekit. But, that anger simmered away, as he saw his son growing quickly. Flarekit's mishaps gained him a reputation as a trouble maker within the Clan, and the only ones that really talked to him anymore were Eveningkit and Dappledflower's kits, Brightkit and Robinkit.
One night, Flarekit heard a noise outside, and snuck out into the camp. Eveningkit had felt her brother move, and followed him out. But, Flarekit was no where to be seen within the camp. Eveningkit went back into the nursery to sleep, waiting for her brother to come back. Flarekit wasn't going to come back that night, though, and this caused panic to sweep through the camp, and his father. The following day, while a patrol was out checking borders, they came across the body of Flarekit. He had a few scratches along his body, and he was barely breathing. Taking him back to camp, the Medicine Cat declared that something had attacked the kit, and that he was going to be alright, if he would just rest.
Flarekit was within the Medicine Cat's den for two moons, just in time for his apprentice ceremony. When he was finally apprenticed, on a muggy Greenleaf day, he was given the mentor of his own father, Eagleclaw.

Eagleclaw taught his son every day, unless something else came up. Flarepaw loved training, hunting was his specialty, and his father taught him things in this relentlessly. The days passed quickly, while the nights passed by as slow as a snail. Flarepaw grew to see his sister training as well as Robinpaw and Brightpaw. The four apprentices were like peas of a pod, never leaving each others sides, unless absolutely necessary.
More trouble did follow after Flarepaw, though, when he was an apprentice. One night, he snuck out again, only to be caught by his father. Eagleclaw was furious, demanding to know why his son would risk something like this, especially when his warrior ceremony was so soon. Flarepaw knew he had disappointed his father, and withdrew into himself. He did not talk to anyone, not even Eveningpaw, whom he had confided everything into. Flarepaw's father knew he had been too harsh on the apprentice, but he did not know how to apologize to someone who knew that what he did was wrong. Flarepaw put all his feelings into his training, so that no one could say he was bottling them up.
The day that Eveningpaw, Flarepaw, Robinpaw, and Brightpaw were to become warriors, tragedy struck. A hunting patrol had found Eagleclaw's body, having fallen down the ravine, onto the rocks below. It had looked as if someone had pushed him off, however, but no one could come up with who could've pushed Flarepaw's and Eveningpaw's father. Flarepaw, saddened by his father's death, was to receive his warrior name still, without his mentor.
T h e G l o r y D a y s ;;
When Flarepaw was made a warrior, the leader of SerenityClan made his name become Flarewind, due to the fact he was like a fire in the wind at times. Flarewind sat vigil with his sister Eveningstorm, Robinflight, and Brightfoot. When the next day dawned, Flarewind took to burying his father, and sitting with him through another night. The newly made warrior was too depressed to eat, or to even sleep. This caused Eveningstorm to become very angry with her brother, because they had made a pact to go hunting together when they were made warriors. It was weeks before Flarewind came out of his depressive state, but by that time, Eveningstorm had left SerenityClan for her own reasons. Flarewind was not saddened by the loss of his sister, he was quite glad the nagging she-cat was gone.
Within the following weeks after Eveningstorm's departure from SerenityClan, Flarewind gained his first apprentice. Her name was Hollowpaw, due to the fact that she seemed kind of hollow inside her head. Training her was the best thing in his life, and he taught her everything Eagleclaw had taught him before he had died. Training with Hollowpaw was a tad boring, however, because the she-cat seemed to forget everything she had been taught from the lesson before. This frustrated Flarewind, and he grew to dislike Hollowpaw. Days passed, and then something horrible happened again to Flarewind. While out training with Hollowpaw, the she-cat apprentice dashed off ahead of Flarewind. A heart-wrenching yowl came from the apprentice's direction, and Flarewind dashed to see what was going on. He got there, just as he saw the she-cat topple off, over into the ravine.
That day was a horrible day for the tom. He had lost his father to the ravine, and now he had lost Hollowpaw. No one saw it as his fault. They believed that Hollowpaw should have stayed by her mentor's side, instead of running off. This caused Flarewind to feel a little better than he had previously. He did blame himself, however, for the apprentice's death. He helped retrieve his apprentice's body, and sat with her throughout the night, then buried her the next day.
The moons passed quickly, Flarewind never acquiring another apprentice. He saw his friends get their own apprentices, and jealousy grew within him. But, it would go away, when they asked if he wanted to come along on hunting parties and border patrols. This got him away from camp, where he would just sulk around endlessly. Flarewind grew a special bond with Musicdrift, a pretty she-cat who found Flarewind nicer than most toms. While out with her one day, a rogue ambushed them. This rogue was none other than Mystique, Lightningstorm's daughter (he didn't know it at the time). Trying to protect Musicdrift, Flarewind attacked the rogue, and she managed to get a good swipe across his face. After Mystique retreated, Flarewind and Musicdrift went to the Medicine Cat, to heal his wounds.
The battle with the Tribe came quickly, and soon, the Clan was back from the battle. It was if it had only happened within a matter of seconds. He had worried about Musicdrift the whole time she had been away at the battle, him having stayed back to protect the camp. When he saw Musicdrift limping through the forest, he had to help her. And, strange feelings seemed to seep within every particle of his being. Maybe it was ... love? Yes, he did care for the she-cat. And so, when Flarewind finally confessed his feelings for her, the two became mates, never to be separated. And that was how it was going to be.
It seemed as if things within the Clan was finally settling down, until the day that Jasminestar announced that she had to leave. StarClan said she had to. And it was to be for a moon only. Clearpool would be the temporary leader, and she was to pick a temporary deputy. Oh, how Flarewind hoped it was him. He really did see to it that his Clan was provided for and protected, and he vowed he would never betray his Clan in any way possible.
D e p u t y s h i p s t e r s ;;
"And, the temporary deputy of SerenityClan is..." Clearpool's voice seemed to ring in Flarewind's ears, even now. He had been chosen. Out of everyone in SerenityClan, Flarewind was the temporary deputy. And he was proud of himself. He was going to be one of the best deputies his Clan had ever seen, even if it was only until Jasminestar came back. He had vowed to his Clan he would be a good deputy, and that is what he was going to be. Flarewind wasn't only going to make his Clan proud of him, but also his dead family proud as well.
I n C h a r a c t e r +
Sun. Trees. Breeze. Flowers. Moss. Blood. Wait, blood? The salty smell of blood came to the calico-mix tom, his ears tilting slightly back against his head. Where in StarClan was this blood coming from? His paws carried him through the scattered trees, his muscular form catching the little specks of light that filtered through the leaves above. Then, it would be bathed in shadows, making the dark splotches on his coat darker. Flarewind paused, the smell of blood so overwhelming, that it made him sway on his paws.
Where was it coming from? His golden-green eyes looked frantically everywhere, not catching anything in sight that would emit the salty smell. Tail swayed, as claws extended, preparing himself for a surprise attack if necessary. Muscles tensed, but no attack came. He exhaled loudly, and continued through the underbrush, on full alert.
And there was that smell again. He shook out his coat, and then, his eye caught the body of a cat. It was facing away from him, but blood was soaked into its whole body. Ears flicked uneasily, as he ventured forward, the curiosity overtaking every cell within his body. What had happened to this cat? He bent his nose down to sniff the body, and he pulled way in disgust. This cat had the smell of a kittypet. But what was the kittypet doing here? He shook his head, and backed off.
He had to report this to the Clan leader. A dead kittypet within the territory had to mean something. His paws carried him away from the dead cat, now fearful of what had killed the kittypet. If it was something, like an animal of some sort, then the Clan was in trouble.
