I am a mottled brown tom, my pelt is thin and wiry. I get cold easily in the winter but I'm strong, so its kept me from getting sick. I groom it many times a day, so its always clean. I have many scars covering me, but the one that I always get asked about from young apprentices is the one on my left flank. It was from a huge battle we had against a huge dog that wandered onto our territory. We were ordered to chase it out, but it fought to stay. Finally it gave up, just when we were about to. I am also missing part of my left ear, and claw markings score across my right flank, from a battle I fought to save my mentors life, only to lose her the next day.
I have black rings around my legs and tails, like a raccoon, and a white muzzle, the white stretches down to my chest and over my belly. My eyes are a new-leaf green, and are as sharp as ever. My voice is cracking, some say that I should be going to the Elders den soon, but I tell them that I'm still strong. I've got plenty of life left in me and I'm to young to even think about being an Elder.

You should have seen me back then when I was younger. A load of trouble I was fighting with others, always ready to take the lead. I was proud and very stupid. But I always watch my Clan mates backs and back my leader up one hundred percent no matter what the order is. I try to anyway. I almost left when he almost didn't accept Morningstripe, Morningkit at the time. He questioned my loyalty to the Clan but excepted Morningkit. I watched her everyday. Up to the day when she went to fight that blood thirsty fox that claimed her life. Then I watched over her own daughter, Mousepaw.
Now in my aging years my life has slowed down. No longer am I the proud tom I once was. I still stand up for what I know is right and I still hold fast to the warrior code. Loyalty runs in my blood, yes, but it also runs through my family. I offer my paw all those in my Clan and sometimes outside of my Clan. Some think I'm weak that way, but I think its my strength.
With old age comes patience and wisdom. I've learned from my past mistakes and I've learned how to set an example to those around me, teach them to have an open heart.

Parents
My mothers name was Scarletmask. She was a beautiful tortoiseshell, with red-orange splotches covering her face like a mask, while my father, Ebonycloud, was a dark brown tabby tom. They fell in love after my father saved mother from a BrightClan cat during a raid in attempt to take some of our territory.
My father had also been Clan deputy before being killed when some badgers moved on to our territory. I was only 8 moons old when he died. Mother died of old age, and had lived a good life in the Clan. She was well respected and loved by all, even those in other Clans.
Kithood
I held an average kithood. Got in loads of trouble and could never stop moving. I was always Clan leader when ever my siblings and I would play Clan with the other kits. We always fought to see who would be leader and I won everytime. Boy was I a tough one when I was younger. I loved to explore so I would sneak out of the camp often, sleep in the leaders den when I wasn't supposed to, and take a couple things from the medicine cat den when no one was looking.
Boy was I a troublemaker.
Apprenticeship
My Mentor was Strawberrystripe. An almost red colored cat, with extremely fluffy fur. She taught me everything I know today, everything I passed down to my own apprentice. I was alway attentive and, of course, always in trouble, like the one time I thought it would be cool to spy on one of the other clans.
I had also once almost fallen off Sharp Cliff as I chased a low flying sparrow. Strawberrystripe had grabbed my scuff just in time. She was the fastest cat in the whole Clan, and could almost catch a rabbit at full run. The elders would say that she had the legs of a Leopard. But she was badly injured in a fight with some rouges, and she died shortly after I became a Warrior.
Warriorhood
As a Warrior I was pretty ruff. At times I think I was a little too ruff on my apprentice, Brindlepaw, who is now Brindlefur. I was an apprentice with his father, Dustyfoot. Dustyfoot was an excellent warrior. I had hoped his son would be the same but he wasn't. We constantly fought and argued and there were times I thought he wouldn't become a warrior! But then he had an near-death experience and he changed. I was so proud when he became a warrior. He wasn't like his father, but he was still a great warrior.
One night at a gathering, I met my future mate, Fallendove. She was a beautiful creamy-gray she-cat and we fall in love almost instantly. Against the warrior code, we met almost every night and when she was going to have kits my heart lept with joy. But then my heart sank when she told me that she had a mate back in MoonClan who was suspicious of her. I tried to tell her to leave MoonClan and come with me, but she wouldn't listen. She was too scared to leave but she promised that she would try. And she did.
When the kits were born she tried to leave, afraid her mate, Midnightraven, would find out. She brought me Morningkit, and said that she was going back for the other one and would met me at my camp. I returned to camp and placed Morningkit with a nursing queen, promising her that I would explain everything when I returned. I went back for Fallendove and waited at the border. She never came. A few days later it was reported that a border patrol from MoonClan was yowling at our patrol, accusing us of killing Fallendove. I knew then, that Midnightraven must have murdered her and the other kit.
My only remaining kit has now joined the Clan. Whether she will remain with me is for the future to tell. I'm also becoming older and may one day join the Elders in the den.

"Lightningpaw! Lightningpaw!" My ears pricked as I heard my mentors cry through the rain. I had only just lept into the bushes to chase after a rabbit when my ears pricked with the sound of cats fighting and a battle raging. I burst through the bushes and saw three rouge cats attacking Strawberrystripe. I lunged for the one that was trying to go for her throat and sharply bit into his hind leg. He stank of crowfood, and he barely had anything under his fur, but he clawed my flank, only to make me bit down harder. He yowled in pain and I let go, watching him him crash through the bushes.
Suddenly I was jumped, thorn sharp claw dug into my back. I sharply twisted around and flung him off as he hit a tree and laid there dazed. I turned to the cat that suddenly bit into the back of Strawberrystripe's neck and in a full fury I scratched and bit at him until he tore away running. I hadn't even realized in, but I was missing a bit on the top of my left ear and the right side of my flank burned like crazy.
I limped back over to my mentor and gazed down at her. She was badly injured, laying in a pool of her own blood, and I knew if I didn't get her back to camp soon, she would die. I gently grabbed her scuff in my teeth and slowly dragged her back to camp.
"Please, Strawberrystripe, oh please survive." I begged her.
